Wow, Team Rocket seem really on the ball in this episode. I wonder why Ash didn't get pikachu to torture them like he always does?
After the EXCITEMENT of May catching her very own Bulbasaur one asks what can follow that act? Answer: The return of the first and fan favorite Bulbasaur, Ash's Bulbasaur to be precise. He (she? the debate rolls on) makes it's glorious return but will the excellent writing that has been taking place continue? We shall see.
The clip starts off with pokeballs being plunked into the basket of the meowth balloon by a vacuum. We then see Jessie, James and Meowth standing around there trademark balloon enjoying there, to that point, successful theft. We are then treated to the charming Duo faces as they enjoy said theft. In response Ash stammers in a scene of SHOCK! Now it's time for the rockets to depart and they do this in style as 2 rockets come out of the bottom of the basket and send them hurling into the blue yonder. Strange however is, as they make there escape one sees a single pokeball fall from there basket. Followed by May yelling (possibly to attack) as next we see her new Bulbasaur releasing a vine whip. Which is followed by Ash's Bulbasaur being released from it's ball. As Ash happily flaps his gums. But all is not well, as next we see James with his finger on a button. Once the button is pressed by James, a LARGE metal building shoots up from the ground which blocks the way for our heroes. Problems continue as cacnea is shown releasing a pin missile, and the pins are headed for May's Bulbasaur! Ash and co. are in SHOCK as the pins draw closer. The scene changes back to May's Bulbasaur as the pins get even closer, just then Ash's Bulbasaur slides in the way of the oncoming attack! And.. End
Thoughts?
Well, unfortunately this episode seems VERY by the book, Team rocket vacuum up a large amount of pokeballs and make there escape with the gang hot on there trail. It's sad that Ash's Bulbasaur's return couldn't have been a little more original. But who knows this may be a very fun exciting by the book episode.
And as a treat I have attached some VERY POOR quality screenshots of this preview.

Alright, my best translation of the text:
The heroes stop at the nearest Pokemon Center in Shiwabuki Town, Ash with an idea on his mind. Heading to the videophone, he calls Professor Oak, and requests to send over his old Bulbasaur. He also explains to Oak that May caught one of her own, and he thought it would be nice to introduce them.
As Oak goes to operate the transmission device... nothing happens! Apparently the transmission machine has blown a fuse. Oak is pretty sure that his is fine, so it's clearly a problem on Shiwabuki's end. Suddenly, two shady figures offer to repair the machine...
There was like one more sentence which I couldn't translate, but I'm pretty sure its obvious who they are and what happens next.

We're not going to Guam... are we?
Let me guess: "Prepare for trouble...", yawn. Should be a good episode though, given that we'll be seeing Ash's bulbasaur again (though I predict it'll be for this episode alone).Originally Posted by Zak
I'm looking forward to the bulbasaur shipping that is bound to come out of this episode. The trick they are using in this episode makes me think of the porygon episode, but I can't figure out why. Maybe I'm just not getting enough sleep.
What town is Shiwabuki in america, or is it a anime only town.
Also before you translated that summary, I had some doubt that the Bulbasaurs was Ash, because why would TR obtain it from the Pokecenter when Ash has it with Oak.
But now I am glad to see it is Ash's!
I guess this sort of throws out the "lets forget about all of the old pokemon" thing. Its good to see that even though they "Started over" they'll have good ol bulby come back Yay!
Yay Bulbasaur! Bulbasaur's personality was always one of my favorites, and I look forward to seeing how it'll react to meeting May's. After all, the only other time it's been with other Bulbasaur, I think, was during that evolution festival thing.
Shiwabuki Town is not from the game.Originally Posted by Kojiro
