It looks like your standard factory with many conveyor belts moving around in various directions. There are mechanical sentries that pop out from time to time (20% chance every few rounds, ref's discretion) that will try to shoot opponents that do not try to defend themselves (shooting takes off about -3-5% health). Being of Mechanical nature, they're best taken out by conventional methods (electrocution, short-circuiting with water, breaking them apart, etc.)

Alright then, let's get to it!

I'll start things off by sending out Taranis, my Male Shinx

I bring out Pantsu, my male Scraggy, @Moxie!


First, lets show him who's boss! Use Snarl! Follow that with Bulk Up and finally Drain Punch.

Don't let him intimidate you Taranis! He wants to try snarling at you? Counter it back with a massive roar to really show him who's king of the jungle! While he tries to pump himself up, paralyze him with a small shock! Finish off this round by shocking him with a tackle!

The machines inside the factory roar as they pump their mechanical bodies. Everything seems to be working hard and there isn`t too much space with all the boxes with parts laying around. Who would want to battle here? But still, two trainers enter with pokeballs in their hands, they`re going to have to be quiet if they don`t want the sentries to come out.
They send out there pokemon, revealing a shinx and scraggy!
Pantsu opens his mouth and decides to get this party started. He pounces around around the boxes and releases high pitched noises. Taranis quickly replies with the song of his people. He takes a deep breath, and like a true lion cub, roars with all his might!
Pantsu flinches at this and quickly covers up his ears.
Taranis -5 PP
Pantsu -4 PP


Pantsu doesn`t really feel like attacking after witnessing the cub`s vocal power. He instead resorts to buffing himself up. Taranis takes the advantage and sends a small ball of electricity. But that just seems to disappear into thin air, the engines from the conveyor belts suck it in.

Pantsu -4 PP, +1 atk., +1 def.


Taranis generates a massive amount of electricity and he breaks into a gallop towards Pantsu. The machines around seem to speed up as he runs past then, they also slightly boost his own attack. Before the scraggy manages to blink, he gets hit by the thunder puffball right on. Pantsu reacts pretty quickly with a slight uppercut to the chin.
Taranis -8 HP, -5 PP, -2 HP
Pantsu -9 HP, -6 PP, +4 HP

All that vocal rampage causes the sentries to come check up on the pokemon.

That's fine Era, but are you going to make it that all "Special" based Electric attacks would automatically get redirected to the machinery?

And that's fine with what you said about not adding in random subs to our actions every round Chobes, I usually don't like doing that either.

OK Taranis, keep a watchful eye on those sentries. This might be risky but call out to the heavens to help raise your spirit and then follow through by a combination of charging and biting down on him at the same time. Hopefully we can slow him down a bit from that combo.

Taranis howls loudly, disrupting the sound of the working machines. The sentries come out alarmed and shoot weak lasers at the blue cub. The shinx dances between the laser bullets, but they still manage to hit him. In all this uproar, he completely forgets about Pantsu, who sneaks up on him from behind and hit him with his free hand, the other one clutching unto his pants.
Taranis -7 HP, +1 attack, -1 PP, -3 HP (sentries)

The sentries tow away and the pokemon continue their brawl. Taranis`s body sparks with electricity, he shoots himself forward with his jaws open up. Pantsu helplessly stares as the flying blue ball of energy takes a paralysing bite out of his pants. Great, now they`re ruined. Tears swell up in his eyes and he retaliates with a toxic bomb, creating a small explosion, some of the machines stop moving around the epicenter.
Taranis -9 HP, -8 PP
Pantsu -14 HP, -7 PP *paralysed*


Taranis starts taking deep breaths to calm his body from all the adrenaline. Pantsu tries to take advantage of his resting, but his body doesn`t respond.

It's at times like these I wish I had a shed skin Scraggy XP For once, Muggles is right.

Use Faint Attack to sneak up on him, and blergh a Toxic in his face. Right in his face mind, see how he likes acid in his eyes. Then Drain Punch!

Don't let him get behind you like that Taranis! Make sure he'll somehow be hit by shooting lightning around everywhere!. We don't need you to be poisoned at all so guard yourself from his poison blob. He wants to get in your face? Hit him close range with a massive amount of electricity to show who's boss!

Pantsu lowers himself unto the metal ground and quickly hides behind one of the machines. A sweat drop escapes Taranis, the cub doesn`t seem to like surprise attacks. He begins charging electricity, while darting his eyes nervously around the large room. Suddenly, the charged up lightning frees itself and travels through the place with a mind of its own. A powerful bolt finds the hidden scraggy. Pantsu makes a BZZZT sound as the spark electrifies his body, however he decides to carry on with his attack anyway and swiftly strikes Taranis from behind.

Pantsu, standing right in front of the lion cub, doesn`t waste time and proceeds with spitting blobby bits of black goo. Taranis`s stomach gives out disturbing sounds and he covers his mouth. Watching the disgusting thick liquid splat on an invisible wall isn`t really the best sight.

Pantsu prepares to throw punch, but his muscles fail. A grin spreads on the shinx`s face, with his target staying put, he releases an incredible zap of electricity forward. For a moment Pantsu`s body turns almost charcoal black, but it retains its previous colour shortly after.

First, charge at Pantsu and hit him with a mighty electrified slam! Then while you're on top of him, chomp down on him with your electrified fangs. Then hold onto Pantsu and hit him with some mega-sized electricity!

Time to go on the super defensive! Use your paralysis to your advantage, hit him with Facade. Then Dig. FIRST SUBBING TIME. If you're struck by paralysis in your second action, go for digging down in your third. You can pop up next round if necessary. Just try your best to avoid that thunder

Taranis builds up electricity around his body and charges at full speed. Pantsu has no time to dodge, he flies across the moving belts and fiercely lands on one of them. The scraggy picks himself up, energy pumping him up, and throws himself back at Taranis. That surely did look painful.

Taranis closes his jaw around Pantsu`s head and crunches down with sparks crackling between his teeth. Pantsu cries out, his muscles tighten up and disallow him to move.

In fear of getting mildly hurt, Pantsu burrows himself into the machinery. Nevertheless, Taranis sets loose a powerful beam of lightning, which travels through the electric devices, hurting Pantsu on the way.

Especially since Taranis jumped off a conveyor belt, and achieved lift. Ha, that sucks for Pantsu. He dug through all that metal and just fell flat on his face.

Trying to understand the mechanics of this newfound floating cat, Pantsu runs away? The Shinx follows, but loses him in all of this factoryness. Taranis hisses and then is kicked in the face by a half pantsed being. Knowing who it was, he lets out a widespread Discharge, that jolt the conveyor belts into high gear and sets off some sort of warning light.

Fearing sentries, Taranis decides to short circuit Pants right here and now. He wells up a HUGE bolt of power and lets it loose. Pants barely has time to react, but he does. It's a more of a electrified dance that he commits too, as the bolt runs through him, and onto a conveyor belt, completely shutting it down. Knowing that's gonna garnish attention, Taranis tries to flee. He dips and makes a right around a corner, then another left, and then flies straight into a smoking fist

Pants wasn't letting her off that easy, unlike his own skinpants.
