Cici, begin by establishing Safeguard, then try to Constrict the Snorlax. Finally, grab a rock or two and use Rock Slide.

Snorlax, start out with a Seismic Toss, then go for an Ice Beam as it's trying to constrict you, then hit it with a Brick Break.

The two trainers and ref open the door a crack. Looking around they see all the lights are off. The sneak in and quietly check all the offices in Brock’s gym. Seeing he is not at home, they take up their positions on the opposite sides of the arena. I smile congenially and say, “Welcome gentlemen. Brock seems to be away for the moment, so we are going to highjack his gym. Ok? Right, let’s get this party started. SR-71 EKFTS you choose first.”

SR-71 EKFTS, all seriousness even while committing a serious breech in Indigo League rules says, “I shall choose Snorlax.” An Ultra Ball pops open and the humongous Pokémon finds a relatively flat spot, and lies down for the moment.

“Come to my side, Cici the Shuckle!” proclaims Master of Paradox. He reaches deep within his mysterious cloak and pulls out a Pokéball. He tosses it with an exaggerated flail of his arm and a slight confused looking Shuckle forms on the field. She looks over at her trainer who flashes a cocky grin. She rolls her eyes and gets into battle stance, then of course realizing what she is up against. She sighs and waits for her commands. Master of Paradox doesn’t disappoint, “Cici, begin by establishing Safeguard. Then try to Constrict the Snorlax. Finally, grab a rock or two and use Rock Slide.”

SR-71 EKFTS nods looking at Cici and says with a bit of a smile on his face, “alright, cool. I'll take this one.” He then turns his attention to Snorlax, “Snorlax, start out with a Seismic Toss, then go for an Ice Beam as it's trying to constrict you. Then hit it with a Brick Break.”

Cici starts off by closing her eyes and concentrating on forming a spinning circle of lights around her. Snorlax gets up and lumbers over to a prone Cici. She finishes the attack just as Snorlax grabs her and starts to spin around in circles. When he reaches maximum speed he lets fly and Cici careens through the air to slam into one of the many boulders poking up out of the gym floor. She cries out as she slides to the floor.

Snorlax starts off the next set by forming a glowing ball of light blue energy in front of its open mouth. Cici elongates her two front legs to constrict Snorlax for some light damage. She is then sent flying into the same boulder as the Ice Beam slams into her. She causes the bolder to smash into many rocks this time with her impact.

The final set of attacks has Cici somehow grabbing the loose rocks with her mind and sending them to fly into Snorlax. Snorlax puts its arms up to defend itself as it lumbers forward. Cici runs out of boulders as Snorlax reaches her. He grabs her once again to send her flying into the gym floor, causing a rather large dent from her impact. She crawls out of the hole in great pain, waiting for the next round of attacks.

"Snorlax, go with another Seismic Toss, then use a Mega Punch, then do another Brick Break." SR-71 EKFTS jumps right in. Snorlax sits down again, but nods. No need to do more work then is needed.

"Hmmm. A lot of slamming." Master of Paradox muses as he thinks of his attacks. With just as much flair as before he says, "Begin the round by hitting Snorlax square in the face with a Toxic when he comes in for the toss.* When he tries a Mega Punch, Withdraw, and set off an Earthquake when he tries to Brick Break."

Cici waits until Snorlax is close enough and then spits a Toxic attack right in his face. It does not detour Snorlax though and he comes in, poison dripping of his face, and grabs Cici. He swings her around and then lets fly, this time slamming her into a wall. She slides down and painfully crawls back into the arena.

The next set she is prepared and Withdraws into her shell as Snorlax comes in and slames her shell with his fist. She flies again and skids along the ground to a stop. She took less damage then before but it still hurt.

Snorlax comes in for a Brick Break to finish this round but Cici retaliates with an Earthquake. Snorlaz is rocked all over the place, and slams into a pillar of rock. He falls and grumbles, unable to get to Cici to perform the attack.

"Okay, Cici," shouts Master of Paradox, "begin this round by whipping up a Sandstorm. Next, rev up a turn, and then launch yourself at the Snorlax with Rollout!"

"Snorlax, ignore the weather right now" says SR-71 EKFTS, "and deliver a Water Pulse right into it. While it's charging up, charge up yourself. Then, when it Rollout's at you, deliver a Focus Punch! Send it flying!"

Cici raises her head and calls, to whatever forces whip up a sandstorm. At first nothing happens but then a wind starts to whip up, grabbing all particles of dust, which are many. There is some larger debris flying about at well. I snatch my goggles and put them on, gesturing for the trainers to do the same. Snorlax ignores the storm whipping about and instead breathes in deeply (somewhat choking on sand) and fires out a Water Pulse. Two rings follow it but the bounce harmlessly off Cici's shield. The water hits her however and she is sent flying.

The next turn has Snorlax concentrating all his power on his fist. Cici is also concentrating on increasing power. She curls into her shell except for two tentacles; she starts herself spinning, the two tentacles pushing her along. She reaches a tremendous pace and she is soon rivalling the sandstorm for speed.

The last set has Cici making a slow turn and spinning herself towards Snorlax. Snorlax however is ready and pulls his fist back. Cici launches herself from the ground, and Snorlax swings his arm. The fist and shell connect. Snorlax cries out and so does Cici, but she is sent flying backwards and great speed. Snorlax has a severe burn on his hand from the speed of the shell spinning against his fist. Cici hits the wall and slides down. Not out, but certainly hurting. Snorlax is buffeted by the Sandstorm as it swings in to hit them. Cici is unaffected. Snorlax also rubs his stomach as the poison curses through him.

Cici did not appreciate the flying lesson she just received, and she pulls herself onto the arena, glaring at Snorlax. Snorlax however is grumbling about his upset stomach. He does not like the poison flowing through his system.

Snorlax's trainer, Sir 71, decides to try and get rid of his Snorlax's stomach troubles. "Snorlax, start out by using Refresh! Then, attack with a Water Pulse and do a second one!" Snorlax looks glad to learn he may be about to be rid of his tummy troubles.

Dark Sage decides to see if he can prevent some damage from hitting his Shuckle, "Cici, when Snorlax tries to Refresh itself, grab it and Constrict it - that should keep its skin on. Protect away the first Water Pulse, and call up a Rock Tomb in response to the second."

Snorlax is first with an attack and sheds his skin, hoping to be rid of his poisoning. It flakes off in a weird sort of mammalian mass body skin shedding. It does not look at all natural and unfortunately does not work. The poison has already seeped into his system. Cici meanwhile elongates her front arms and squeezes Snorlax's ample tummy for little damage.

Cici does not wish to be soaked, and so concentrates on creating a dome of protective energy around her self. Snorlax takes a deep breath and gushes out a fountain of water, sending two rings of confusion along with it. Fortunately for Cici both bounce harmlessly off her shielding.

Snorlax doesn't like how he has made no damage upon Cici this round and fires another Water Pulse. This time it gushes over Cici, and as she tries to cry out she gets a mouthful of water. The rings of Confusion also hit her, and she stumbles around. This time at least she remembers her attack, perhaps for her need to get revenge. She calls upon the ample amount rocks, to move and they slam together around Snorlax, trapping him inside. One good effect is the rocks protect him from the Sandstorm as it rages past.Snorlax groans from inside his Tomb, as the poison once again moves through his system.

Why refresh didn't work is below. This is a straight copying from the ASB Attack List:
Refresh (NO) – The user sheds its skin, expending a good deal of energy to rid itself of burn, poison which hasn’t seeped in yet and paralysis from Thunderwave, et al.

BTW Cici gets confused because Safeguard protects against status ailments. Confusion does not count as such. This is what I believe, but I am checking with a mod on this. If it's different, I'll change my post.

I'm fairly sure confusion is a status effect.

Cici, if you can understand my commands, start by touching off an Earthquake and bringing the Rock Tomb down on Snorlax. Then take a break for your next two actions.

Master of Paradox starts this round hoping Cici will understand him, “Cici, if you can understand my commands, start by touching off an Earthquake and bringing the Rock Tomb down on Snorlax. Then take a break for your next two actions.”

Sir 71 decides to take advantage of Cici’s breaks and says to his Snorlax, “Take a Break first, then break through the Rocks by using a Mega Punch, then finish the round with a Water Pulse.”

Since Snorlax is relaxing in his little tomb of rock, Cici decides to rock the house, er gym. She jumps up and down and slams the floor multiple times. Her confusion is lying low for the moment. The floor starts to vibrate and Snorlax is jounced around, along with his tomb which falls down a little, revealing his head.

Snorlax then decides he doesn’t like his little tomb so much, and uses a Mega Punch to burst his way out. Cici is chillin on her side of the arena, just watching Snorlax free himself. She finds it rather amusing to watch his efforts, but know she is about to be drenched. She sighs, but is glad for the dual rest.

Snorlax then gets his revenge on Cici by drenching her in a torrent of water. She was just sitting there and so gets hit extra hard. She skids back, just on the edge of a deep crack in the gym floor. The rings of confusion actually hit her, ensuring she stays confused. Snorlax’s poison really starts to take effect now, and will continue to get worse.

Snorlax once again tries to lumber over toward Cici. The horrible shape of the arena makes it rather tough going and before he reaches the little worm, he is tripped over a piece of debris. He waves his arms in a rather comical way, but it inevitably fails, and gravity wins; helped by his rather massive bulk. Cici is concentrating on gathering energy gained when Snorlax hits her, but since he doesn’t, nothing happens.

The next round has Cici fighting off a bought of confusion. She tries to use Bide again, but can’t remember what it is. She spins around 9n confusion, wondering what it was she was supposed to do. Snorlax takes his revenge and spurts a Water Pulse at her. The supersonic rings do not help her in her quest to be free of confusion. She is drenched and in quite a lot of pain.

Finally Cici overcomes her confusion and sets to making herself glow, hoping to be hit. Snorlax is able to oblige her wishes and picks her up, spins her around a few times before slamming her into a wall. It does a good deal of damage, and she gives it back. Twice fold. Snorlax cringes in pain as the wave of fighting energy hits him. The wall made her unable to concentrate but cured her of her confusion. Snorlax clutches his stomach and falls to the floor, the poison dealing good damage. Then he is again buffetted by the Sandstorm raging in the arena.
