    Default [Oslo vs Greiger] [Ref: DLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL]

    Lets do something like a two versus two and I'll ref it.

    OK yeah we need a new ref I've been too busy and I don't want to keep these two waiting any longer so if we could get a subref that would be great.

    I'm also in. If you'd like, Greiger, you can pick the arena, name the banned moves and decide who releases first.

    Whee, a battle! Hooray! Hm... I don't know much about arenas or what to ban or such. Personally I wouldn't ban any moves. Oslo you can decide the arena, but as to who releases first I would say you can Oslo.

    I'm fine with not banning any moves. Let's go with a basic Indigo Plateau arena, with a pool of water in the middle.

    Time to release, then...

    Ditto D. Ditterson, Esquire, I choose you! (Shiny Imposter Ditto.)

    Since I released first, it's your turn to release and attack.

    Okay... who to choose. I'll choose Chiller (Male Sneasel, Inner Focus). Hm... to attack first. Let's see, since it's a Ditto with Imposter... I'll go for Screech x 2, and then a Metal Claw.

    Imposter will automatically Transform Ditto D. Ditterson, Esquire. So I'll go with...

    Team Greiger V.S. Team Oslo

    Arena: Indigo Plateau

    Battle Conditions:
    This is a simple two on two.
    DQ is set to one week.
    Damage Cap is at 49%.

    Hey.
    Screech~Screech~Counter

    We join our battlers, Oslo and Greiger at Indigo Plateau. Greiger releases a mean looking Sneasel. Our other battler Oslo releases a derpy looking Ditto who automatically transforms into the Sneasel. With that we begin.

    Chiller starts off with screeching to the high heavens. Ditto D. Ditterson does the same thing ugh I thought I was annoying.
    [Chiller: -6 EP| -2 DEF] [Ditto D. Ditterson, Esquire: -5 EP| -2 DEF]

    Second verse, same as the first.
    [Chiller: -5 EP| -2 DEF] [Ditto D. Ditterson: -7 EP| -2 DEF]

    Here comes the action, Chiller runs up to Esquire with steely nails and scratches at the imposter. Esquire retaliates but with a stronger steely nail strengthened by it's anger. Being "SUPER EFFECTIVE!!!" it caused a lot of damage.
    [Chiller: -18 HP| -8 EP] [Ditto D. Ditterson: -9 HP| -10 EP]

    Team Greiger

    oo
    Chiller

    Male

    [IIIIIIII] [IIIIIIII]
    82 HP 81 EP
    @Inner Focus
    Oh this may be tough.
    -2 DEF

    vs

    Team Oslo

    oo
    Ditto D. Ditterson, Esquire

    N/A

    [IIIIIIIII] [IIIIIII]
    91 HP 79 EP
    @Imposter
    This will be really easy
    -2 DEF

    REFS NOTES:
    At 0 EP pokemon will take 1 HP worth of damage for every 2 EP used
    Note to all: Never let me ref unless you like waiting tbh I'm terrible.
    The damage was so high on Chiller because counter does double damage on the opponent.
    If theres anything else wrong with the reffing tell me.

    Good reffing job, Em. Two little things: Ditto D. Ditterson, Esquire should be at 79 EP and the post-round stats should have both Pogeys at -4 DEF.

    Okay, let's see. Physical moves would be good right now, but I sense he'd just fight back with Counter, sooooo... use Surf followed by Hidden Power and another Surf.

    Sub: Counter any super-effective Physical moves.

    ===Round 2===

    So, now we have two Sneasel's ready for battle. Or at least it seems so. The true Chiller dashes around maniacally and starts slashing its claws on everything, getting them immensely sharp. The imposter Chiller decides to slow him down, and forces water out of the pond omnidirectionally. This catches the weasel off guard, and he stops to assess what just happened.

    Ch: -3E/-10H +2Atk ~~~ DD: -8E

    Esquire now looks deep in the soul of this Pokemon to tr and bring out its hidden power. It glows and separates from Esquire, forming into a strange sheen. It flies around the opponent as if it was a lost electron, but Chiller watches as the orb flies into him repeatedly, and does nothing.

    Ch: -3E +2Atk ~~~ DD: -5E HP: Psy

    Still one upping the competition here, Ditto performs another last of water. This time, The Surf fails due to Chiller zipping round the field to raise its speed. Finally, its ahead of its imposter...

    Sorry about that! Been busy this past week, hehe. You know, Christmas and all and gift buying. But anyways our speed is superior now!

    Let's start out with a Swagger and confuse that impostor, form there let's get up a Reflect to shield ourselves from some damage. Finally, hit that Sneasel with a Brick Break.

    The faster of these two Sneasel blasted forth and began to try and tick off the slower of his breed. But the slower Sneasel sneakily erected a energy shield to ignore that mess, no time to be a braggart.

    Ch: -3E ~~~ DD: -6E

    Watching as his safety membrane falls, Chiller lite watches carefully as his origin material raises his arms up in a similar fashion. A sheen of lightseems to extend over a small parameter...and stay there with a consistent strength. Well, despite that new shield, Chiller Lite manages to nip and tuck his body in a few ways, until he is an exact copy of his predecessor!

    Now even again, Both Pokemon act as if they are of one mind, and collide with each other with their right hands. A equal strength brick break that ripples and shatters that Reflect that was just erected, as well as the shockwave running through their bodies. Both Pokemon fell to the wayside, holding their right arms.

Before the punches started rattling is frame, CD created a shield of light, that was instantly warped with amazing speed and accuracy. Damn that Blink knew how to fight.

    Ch: -4E/-14H* Rfl: 3 Rds ~~~ Bl: -9E -Def/SpD

    Thank Arceus that shield was up, or it would have been lights out. DD quickly tried to salvage any lead it may have had, and tries to battle the Hitmonchan head on with a Punch of its own. It stands to note that with the combination of hyped attack, and a powerful Reflect barrier still standing, that the Sneasel-clone stood its ground fairly well, even though I'm pretty sure Hitmonchan probably broke Chiller Deux arm with that solitary punch.

    Ch: -4E/-13H* ~~~ Bl: -9E/-18H -Def/SpD

    The third strike combo on Chiller Deux frame left him wishing the fight was over, but it also had a secondary effect. Blink listened, and heard what seemed to be a rumbling of the earth. No ripples came about, but instead a massive tonnage of ice fell from the heavens-a massive localized hail event, and Avalanched all over his form. Chilling way to be struck.

    ===Round 7===

    Chiller Deux, aside from sounding like a sick Swede Rock band- now fired off another blast of energy at the new fighter. Blink held his fists up the block the sphere, but it came with such a mind altering explosion that it left him woozy. Nope Not having any more of those. He faked two jabs and went in with a left hook that floored the Sneasel...for good.

    I choose Cthulu, my female Poison Touch Skrelp.

    Let's see... Hitmonchan mainly know physical moves so any of them will give me the poison status. Most of them aren't even very effective against a poison or water type and even if I manage to avoid physical moves, a Skrelp does know a generous amount of poison type moves. Great game Oslo, but so far my only move at this point can be to use Focus Blast all the way. It's a special move so the Poison Touch shouldn't be able to affect Blink that way... at least I hope not. Again, haven't played competitively ever so I'm not sound on my theory, but it's the only one I have.

    So then, Focus Blast x 3 for Blink.

    ===Round 8===

    Chiller Deux out, we finally get a swap from Oslo. He decides to bring out a current gen on us, in the form of Cthulu. She flops around for a moment,before finding a suitable body of water to splash in. During her arrival, Blink took the time to concentrate all his fighting prowess into a bevy of bursts The first one flew out and was able to land its target. He smirked as Skrelp went flying in the air. Cthulu was not pleased though, and made sure to wriggle enough in teh air to fall on Blink and whip its body back and forth.

    Damn. Blink barely got it off of him, but it plays rough!

    Ct: -4E/-7H ~~~ Bl: -9E/-14H

    Unsure what to think of this poisonous beast, Blink once again fires off another Focus Blast. However, Skrelp is ready and shoots off a high arcing mass of just putrid....what the hell is that. No seriously. Its Gunk, but where does it store this gunk? I hope its not intestine gunk. Anyway, the second Focus Blast also hits, but the Gunk Shot splatters all over Blink, and he is displeased.

    Ct: -7E/-7H ~~~ Bl: -9E/-13H

    Punching his fists and wiping his face clear, Blink tries once more. However, Cthulu uses some speed and causes a forceful slap to rage across Blink's face. Blink takes a step back and fires the Blast off kilter. Cthulu watches the blast miss, smashing through the landscape a bit

    Alright... I don't want to do this but I think I have to. I saw... Rest. That's all I can do at this point to keep Blink at them. Then, even though it's probably a horrible idea, I'll have to go with Sleep Talk. There is a chance of being horribly poisoned and Blink le dying like Romeo and Juliet, but that's the best alternative here.
