Aqua Jet, then Bite and clamp onto him, try and keep a hold of him like that, if you managed to hold on - Dragon Claw. If you fell off, either Hone Claws if he's not gonna attack, or if he does - Screech as loud as you can to throw him off target.

If he flies out of range, switch your current move to Ice Beam.

Good day, ladies and gents, and welcome to that oh-so-familiar bastion of the unimaginative: Indigo Stadium! Today, a fierce battle will take place between two veteran trainers with histories of going AWOL: Mew Master and Crystal Tears! As onlookers begin to place bets about whether this ASB League will still be running by the time this match finishes, the participants take Pokeballs from their belts and whip 'em onto the field. And we're off!

Flashes of light mark the appearance of a savage pterodactyl and a slightly-less-savage-but-still-reasonably-savage crocodile. Tyrant begins play, immersing his entire body with water before firing off like a rocket (or, y'know, a jet) toward his opponent. Before Tyrant can even open those massive jaws of his, the speedy gator smacks him right in the face. Yowch! The prehistoric beast lets out a bellow and clambers over to Tyrant before snapping him up in his teeth. Om nom nom.

Oh, back so soon? Still holding onto Tyrant, Ziz enters a sudden dive. The beast careens toward the ground but pulls up at the last second, avoiding catastrophe... for him, anyway. With perfect timing, Ziz horks up Tyrant out of his mouth which causes the Croconaw to slam hard against the ground. Dazed from that impact, Croconaw lets out a painful wail, but he seems to be more disoriented than his foe at the moment.

As the next round begins, Ziz sets his sights on Tyrant and dazzles the little croc with twin beams of scarlet light. With evasion and illusions no longer an option for Tyrant, he begins pirouetting on the spot in preparation for the fighting to come. Yeah, shake that tail! Shake it hard!

Ziz lets out a bestial shriek that sounds vaguely like a suffocating toad and begins slamming one of his wings against the ground. Tremors shoot off in all directions and catch Tyrant off-guard, giving the Croconaw a one-way ticket to Crashintothegroundsville. With a wave of his arm, Tyrant conjures up a bunch of medium-sized boulders and sends them plummeting down upon the back of his pterodactyl friend. They form a tomb that encloses around Ziz, trapping him inside. Eek!

Ziz is not pleased. She bellows louder than ever before from within her little rocky sepulchre and throws her body against the wall. The rocks shatter from the sheer might of her Stone Edge which keeps on going right toward Tyrant with only a little bit of its momentum gone. Assuming a linebacker stance, Tyrant braces himself for the attack and then grunts as he's sent skidding backwards. When the attack finally comes to a halt, he hoists Ziz up over his head before tossing the Aerodactyl against one of the stadium walls. Crash! As Ziz crumples, Tyrant crosses his arms in satisfaction. Stone Edge? Well, my friend, it looks like you just got a taste of Pwn Edge! (Geddit... 'cause it sounds like Pwnage? No? Okay, moving on.)

The battle keeps on plowing forth as Ziz opens his mouth and lets out a terrible noise that sounds like a prepubescent kitty getting smacked with a rake. Tyrant tries to resist the effects of the awful noise but soon finds himself spiralling face-first into a senseless rage. The Confused Croconaw huffs and puffs and shoots off dazzling burst of Rock-type energy. Ziz is hit hard and rolls his eyes. Hey, Confusion! C'mon now! Be better!

Completely thrown for a loop from that Supersonic, Tyrant begins trying to ingest his own tail. Om nom ouch? With his enemy momentarily incapacitated, Ziz takes flight only to immediately swoop back down toward the Confuzzled Crocoduzzle. The attack hits hard—so hard, in fact, that Ziz keeps on going and collides head-first into the wall. Thank goodness his rock-hard cranium braced himself against the impact! Still, the Aerodactyl makes a mental note to make an appointment with his local certified chiropractor. That can't be good for his neck long-term.

As Tyrant begins doing cartwheels, Ziz assumes ramming speed and dive-tackles his foe with one well-aimed strike. The attack seems to have honed in on gator boy's weak spot because the beast keeps hopping up and down in a good deal of pain. Hissing and spitting and cartwheeling furiously, Tyrant hurries up to Ziz and lashes out with a energy-infused swipe. The mad glint hasn't left the croc's eyes just yet, though. He proves this point with one more cartwheel. See? Still crazy.

As Tyrant practices his best Cirque du Soleil routine with leaps and pirouettes all over the joint, Ziz lets out a squawk and begins to glow a vibrant shade of silver. The Aerodactyl begins to feel a little more light on his feet as Tyrant becomes just lucid enough to put his Frustration to some good use. He leaps forward and begins lashing out with every random, thoughtless physical blow in his arsenal. The attack doesn't do a whole lot of good against Ziz's rocky coating, but Tyrant feels a way more refreshed and centred once it's done. Alas, Cirque du Soleil will forever remain a dream deferred.

Though Ziz is fast, Aqua Jet is faster. The prehistoric birdie-thing gives his wings a heavy flap and causes a myriad of boulders to come flying Tyrant's way. The Crocoduzzle (I have decided I prefer this species name over "Croconaw"; I will be petitioning Game Freak for an official change very soon) erupts with water and shoots off like a cannon. He skids away from the rocks and blasts off into the air before landing hard on Ziz's back. The Aerodactyl lets out a pained cry as Tyrant whoops and laughs. Giddie up!

Ziz teeters about the arena precariously as Tyrant holds on tight to his mount. Craning his neck, Ziz tries to establish a line of sight with his opponent but the Big Jaw Pokemon has made things awfully tricky with his strategic positioning. Ziz twists his neck back as hard as he can and fires off a Dragon Pulse from his mouth, but the energy burst only manages to skim Tyrant. Drat. Still holding on, Tyrant maintains his grip by sinking his pearly whites around one of Ziz's horns. Yum.

And that's the story of how Ziz found himself with the weirdest friggin' hat in the whole entire world. The End.

Rather than trying to strike Tyrant with a ranged attack, Ziz decides to take a more... head-on approach. With Tyrant still clamped down upon the Aerodactyl's horn, Ziz begins to charge skull-first toward the nearest wall. His body begins to shines with a dazzling white light as he gives the tackle everything he has.

The move's effects are devastating. Tyrant is chucked clear off of Ziz's head and lands halfway across the arena in a dazed heap. Ziz slouches over in exhaustion and briefly thinks he's won it, but Tyrant proves to be more resilient than that. Unable to do more than sit there and pant, Ziz watches as Tyrant rises as if from the dead. Ahh! Zombie! A brilliant below corona erupts around the gator as he shuffles over to his opponent. Tyrant chomps down upon Ziz's head once again and then blows Ziz away with a crisp beam of energy.

The Aerodactyl flies upward (wee!) before plummeting back down to the ground (yowch!). With that, he's done. Friggin' Crocoduzzle...

With Mew Master's veteran Aerodactyl no longer in fighting shape, the fallen Pokemon returns to his Pokeball. With a flash of red light, a replacement in the form of a snapping sea turtle is promptly brought out to play. Though Tyrant's Speed stat has taken a hit, he's still faster than the newbie and shows this by marching up to the tortoise with his fist raised. He takes a swing but, oh, he manages to swipe nothin' but air. Gah! How maddening! Veins raise under Archelon's skin as his muscles begin to look a whole lot more muscly. His shell can hardly contain his new brawn and begins to crack in places as he goes all Super Saiyan. Enemies beware!

Now that Tyrant's regime is no more CT has to send a new Pokemon out to play. With a flash of light a pink and yellow kitty hops out of her Pokeball and scurries up to Archeleon. She lets out an affectionate purr and begins nuzzling the Tirtouga warmly... only to raise one of her tails and swat him in the face! He blinks off the surprising hit. Guh?

Serah lets off a blinding Flash of light in an attempt to blind her foe. However, when the light clears... it's revealed that Archelon was closing his eyes the entire time! What a trickster! The turtle suddenly begins to glow with a vibrant silver light as he works on mending his weakened shell.

Archelon does a spin on the spot and creates four chipper turtle clones to do his bidding. Serah's fur stands on end as she begins generating electric current. The current fires from her in a broad cone that's wide enough to wipe out three whole clones, leaving Archeleon and the remaining illusion intact. Serah hisses. Soft kitty is no more. Badass kitty? Yeah, she's made an entrance.
