Name/PDN-Changing Requests

This topic is for name/PDN-changing requests only. If you don't want your SMF name changed, look through Forum Help for your answer and if it isn't there, post a new topic.

Bear in mind that:

• You can't use a name that another user has. If the name you want is in use via an inactive account we may delete the old account to give you the name, depending on how likely we think that user is to want to use that account again. There are no guarantees, however.
• You must log in with your new name.
• We shall change your name once, and once only, so pick a name you really like and will love forever.

If you want your name changed, remember to leave your current name and member number and the name you want in your reply. If you don't do this, we won't change your name.

If you want to know your user ID number, click on your name on the side bar there, it's the last set of numbers in the URL, though I don't think we really need it to be able to change your name. I would think we were only requesting that so we know who'd changed their names, but now we can change your display name and leave your account name the same so I'll know for sure which ones have been changed, not matter how many posts you delete.

One change and one time only. Make sure you love it!
