Question about longevity of topics

Is this forum immune to purge like Azures is or do topics eventually fade away?

We never purge any threads. We've lost a lot in the past due to server breakages and moving from one host to another, but we never intentionally delete old threads.

What about burning the board? It was in the old TPM, I know. Of course, you (they, or should I say we, I'm no moderator) never do that in this form, at least haven't done that yet, right? So I answered my own question, again.

I might be completely wrong, but I'm pretty sure the board went through a few 'prunings' waaaay back, around 2001. Is that right or are my facts totally skewed?

Anyway, from memory, there hasn't been a pruning for years now, and as Chris said, we don't do that.
