After a staggering x amount of months of not really doing anything at all, you suddenly come to your senses wearing a beard and a sudden sense of clarity. The three shadow pokémon you've been fighting suddenly look... vibrant. It's as if all the color that was once washed away came back in stunning HD! You shrug your shoulders and issue your commands to your now wiser squad of pokémon.

Atlas, the burly brawler, closes his eyes as the chaos continues around him. He focuses his strengths into his two right fists before giving Hashmal's cage a quick one-two. The cage bars bend just enough to release several of the groundlings, leaving your unconscious donphan to be the only one left. Atlas can't blame the ground-pokémon for getting out of there as fast as they can; he just wished that at least one of them would be willing to help him get that heavy pachyderm up!

Meanwhile, on the other side of the fight, the two flying type pokémon on your roster duplicate several times over, leaving the electric trio with a series of confused glances. Airship and his clones make it even more difficult for them as they all shrink to at least half their normal size and stare at the trio with dead, hypnotic glances. The hypnosis isn't quite as effective, though, since the electric foes can barely even see the Airship team at all. Oh well.

While they're distracted by the ghost balloon, though, Ca takes a moment to summon a powerful whirlwind that manages to knock the three pokémon off their feet and into the ground. You gleefully cheer at your sudden fortune (whilst stroking your magnificent hiatus beard) for a few seconds until the three pokémon angrily get back on their feet and stand at attention. Uh oh--

But before they can make a move, you are blinded by a brilliant flash of light as a familiar face returns:

This is probably gonna piss Hashmal off but we'll worry about it later. Atlas, give Hashmal a good, hard slap to wake him up, then knock that flying genie out of the sky with heavy rock and then start making the ground massively shake

Airship, first come back to normal size and then I'm going to have you restrict that genie's movements, using both telekinetic and physical methods. As you're doing that, put him to sleep as well so he doesn't make quite the racket.

Ca, you're gonna help Atlas with the offense as well. Shower him with a barrage of rocks then hit him with a blast of flames and finish off with another barrage of rocks

If Hashmal manages to wake up after the slap, we're gonna have to have him "tank" the djinn in place. Strut about in full cockiness to get him to focus on you, then show off your sparkling dazzling tusks to charm him and make him less wary of you, and finish off with a massive quake

After the long while, Team Perfect Chaos stands at attention (well, three-fourths of it, anyway) while Hashmal takes the longest...nap...ever! Having enough of the earth-derm's lackadaisical attitude, the four-armed Atlas aims his upper-right slappin' hand and connects! Hashmal is slapped out of slumber, and rages on! Atlas points menacingly at Djinn, blaming him for hsis own shenanigans. The donphan cries out, ignoring your attempts to cock-off and instead charges up for a nasty rollout. Djinn cocks his head, swiftly avoiding your pokémon's rage-induced tactics. Le sigh.

The fliers of your group, Airship and Ca, at least try to make damage happen. Airship restricts Djinn's movements as much as a ghost pokémon can, while Ca lays down an earthly smackdown with Rock Slide! Djinn is pummeled by the rockfall, but manages to free himself from Airship's psychic grip. The thunder genie begins to cackle, after plotting a nasty plot, he casts a venomous lightning spell that showers the battlefield; only Hashmal is immune to the electric shocks, instantly paralyzing everyone.

Not good!

The frosty dragon perches herself on the precipice nearby as Buzzer's agitation grows. You try to calm the flygon's nerves, but it proves fruitless. Kyurem watches the antics of you and your pokémon, seemingly unbothered. The hunter appears to have wandered off (perhaps to keep warm), as your own fatigue begins to dip in.

Kyurem looks at her wounds before caking them with snow, using the icy blanket to ease her pain. Might not be the best time for a human to bother her with questions. She might bite.

Round NINETY-NINE
You re-summon the rest of your pokémon team to create a warm place of rest. Raff claps her hands to the ground, summoning what little bits of live foliage she can muster; it's not much, but it'll hafta do. Boom spits out a tiny ember that slowly begins devouring the foliage, giving you a warm place to sleep. It's only a little flame for now, but it should hopefully keep you alive through the night.

You drift off for a few hours, but when you awaken, Kyurem has flown off.

Round ONE HUNDRED
As you enter your centennial round, Raff retreats into her poké ball. You and Boom climb atop Buzzer who bolts high into the air. It's a bit more difficult for him to fly with you *and* the fire golem, but that's the sacrifice you have to make to stay warm. The antlion soars through the air as quickly as possible as you eventually get away from the tundra.

As you continue forward, you begin to hear a loud wailing noise in the distance.

Farfetch'd cries with glee as it takes the vegetable under his wings. He then beckons to you, asking if he can do something for you.

Ah, a Gourgeist and a Karrablast.

Well, I definitely think my Pokemon could use a bit of rest and relaxation (especially Kratos), so I'm going to keep walking until we find a safe spot for my Pokemon to relax. They'll certainly need it if I encounter the Pokemon I came here for.

OK we're not in a good position. We still have to keep up the assault for now.

Airship, find yourself a safe place to land and start recovering your health and energy

It's up to you two Atlas and Hashmal! We're gonna start with a combo move Fastball Special! Hashmal, roll up into a ball and start spinning and then Atlas is gonna throw you full force at the Djinn. Keep smacking into him a few times Hashmal with your rolls.

Atlas, after you've finished throwing Hashmal at the Djinn, send some sharpened rocks at him and finish off with an icy punch at his jaw.

Ca, I need you to keep distracting the Djinn with two more rock barrages and then go off and join Airship to recover as well.

As Airship slumps to the ground to recover lost health, Atlas and Hashmal prepare for a fastball special! Hashmal curls into a ball and charges up a spin dash whilst Atlas uses his four strong arms to lift him up. Grunting loudly, he lobs the stone elephant high into the air. Ca, meanwhile, summons a couple volleys of rocks to slam down upon Djinn just as Hashmal tackles! It's a powerful strike! But the assault's not even over yet as Atlas charges forward and elbows the electric legend with a rocky anger!

Airship looks pleased as his health slowly comes back, but Djinn is very much the opposite. The electric genie closes his eyes while incantating... something. Suddenly, a pair of powerful meteors rain down from the sky, crashing Airship to the ground while a powerful strike of electricity fries him. Since when did this genie learn how to do that!?

Atlas furiously reacts with an ice punch while Airship and Ca struggle to retain as much health as possible.

You decide to investigate the noise as Boom, tired of the cold, retreats to his own poké ball. As Buzzer soars through the air towards the chillingly cold ocean ahead of you. Upon closer inspection, you spot a body of ice just floating in the water, motionless -- looks like a perfect place to land. You give the go ahead, and Buzzer touches down on the ice below, allowing you safe dismount. The wailing sounds are getting louder and louder.

You keep your eyes and ears peeled as the wailing sounds get louder and louder. Buzzer doesn't quite like your surroundings, however, as the patch of ice you've rested on becomes unstable. As the iceberg lifts up out of the water, you stumble and try desperately to cling on. Doing so proves fruitless, however, as you slip and slide off into the sub-freezing waters. Buzzer is swift to retrieve you from the waters, only to stare at the intimidating iceberg straight on--

Airship is quickly recalled to avoid fainting as Hashmal draws the legendary genie's attention away with an awfully cocky dance. That's okay for Djinn, who blasts Hashmal away with three combined superpowers! Yeowch! Ca pulls out a substitute while Atlas lunges forward with a powerful stone edge!

Round two commences with the four pokémon hitting hard with a series of super-effective techniques! Djinn can't take the damage whatsoever, and completely disperses into a faint darkness! Huzzah! Three of the legendary lightning beasts have been felled! In his wake, you see a much larger shard of the black jewel -- could this be all of them!?

The Old Village
This is the old location of the village before the battling league moved the village a mile east. In this ancient test of time, among old buildings and disused shops you will find a variety of city pokémon living in solitude. Rumor has it there are secrets underneath the village.

Round EIGHTY-EIGHT
You go to greet Garamond with the news that you have acquired all of the dark stone shards. He looks quite pleased -- almost deviously so -- it's almost like he was about to --








You wake up ten hours later in a daze. Loljk, no time's passed, nor have you been betrayed.

GARAMOND "You have returned, Chaos! This is perfect timing, as we have assembled our army to defeat Zed for good!"

Garamond leads you through the army as Ca decides to return to his perch and get some needed rest -- they don't look like much, but what they lack in strength they make up in sheer mass. There are a few groundlings (not many), and even fewer dragons. A lone mawile makes up the entire fairy-type force. This is certainly going to be an interesting battle ahead of you.

GARAMOND "We only managed to pull together 20-odd pokémon, but our numbers alone should be enough to vanquish this evil. Once we reassemble the shards, we can summon Zed and defeat him right here and now... that is, if we ever figure out how to reassemble them..."
