Well, I'll tell you, you can't ref safari zone until you are approved. There is no way to be approved unless the mods are seeking new refs, which is currently, not the case. =)

You press onwards through the tunnel. It is very dark, and you see a few more Shellos inching along the walls. Eventually, the tunnel turns pitch black. Chris rummages through his backpack and pulls out a Lantern. You continue down to the end of the tunnel, and you suddenly feel a deep chill run down your spine. The cold air seems to be coming from a passage to your left that winds around a sharp corner. There is also a hole on the ceiling of the little chamber, that seems to go straight up for a while. You could also go straight.

Oh, decisions decisions. Drifloon is a neat pokemon, but not something I specifically had in mind.

Eh, lets go for it. Atlas, you're up. Start off with a Toxic. Then, use a Swords Dance to get yourself pumped. And finally, strike hard with a Stone Edge. I'm pretty sure that doesn't require actual rocks... but in case it does, then use Faint Attack instead.

You wave to Alf and run down the shore to where he is coming to dock. He waves back and waits for you to meet him. You ask if you can go out to sea on the boat and he nods, happy to give you a lift. You and Chidori scramble aboard, Hao landing on the captains cabin. Alf looks askance at this but says nothing.
The four of you go out to sea; the sandy beaches only a white and green line in the distance. When you are far enough out you grab a rod and toss it out as far as you can. It takes a while but finally you get a hard tug on the line. You yank back as hard as you can and after a bit of a struggle, a Wailmer leaps up out of the water!

Banned Moves: Rock Tomb, Rock Slide as there are no rocks, only tomb stone's and the locals will not take kindly to having them ripped free. So no throwing of rocks.

Arena: Grave's Yard

A frightening place where all the worst stories originate. Home to Ghost and Dark type pokemon, you may find a rare Psychic type, but only the bravest dare tread here.

You turn to Atlas he gladly steps up to the plate. Drifloon is not paying you much mind, until you splatter him with a Toxic. He turns, purple goo hard to see against his purple skin. He almost seems to shrug with his stringy hands and rushes at Atlas. He slightly seems pleased to be getting into a battle. He slams into Atlas's shoulder with a Return, but Atlas almost doesn't feel the little Pokémon.

Atlas then starts to spin in place, focusing his chi energy for the battle ahead. The vortex blows Driftloon back and he yells at Atlas, annoyed. When he gets no response, only glowing swords, he responds with his own kind of light. He glows bright and then flashes outward, illuminating a good twenty feet. Thankfully, Atlas had his eyes closed while he was focusing. He opens his eyes when he is finished to see a rather irritated Drifloon.

With his renewed focus he charges the small Pokémon and slams him with his right elbow, dealing a great amount of damage. Driftloon reels in pain and when he gets his marbles together he only thinks of hitting the bug with the first attack that comes to mind. He zooms at Atlas and hits him all over, and seems to be looking for something to steal. Finding nothing he floats back, huffing.

With a flick of your line the lure releases and the Wailmer dives back don into the sea. Chidori steps up from her place leaning on the rail and grabs another fishing rod. You and her toss the lines and wait it out, enjoying the sea air. Hao is laying low on the roof, just enjoying the sun while Chidori and you fish.
Then you get a tremendous pull on the line, it almost tugs you right out of the boat! You struggle to reel it in when Chidori also gets a huge pull on her line. The rod is bent right over the boat and she is sweating with the effort of bringing it in. You are grunting and Alf comes over to help you when you see it. A Kingdra is dragged up from the depths and he glares at you for managing to catch him. Suddenly he leaps aside (pulling you and Alf over) as a Lapras is pulled up by Chidori. She is heaving with the effort but the Lapras just looks amused.

You sadly release the Kingdra and he doo's at you in an aggravated way before he dives back down for the depths. Chidori also releases Lapras and she just swims off, not particularly caring. You both cast again and this time it is a much shorter time when Chidori gets a bite. She has almost no problems bringing it up and you see it is a Luvdisc on the end. He swims back and forth annoyed when you also get a tug. It is strong but not nearly as strong as the Kingdra. It takes you a bit but finally a Mantine leaps up out of the water, flying over the surface. He continues to fight you as you decide what to do.

You once more release the two Pokémon but the Luvdisc squirts you in the face before leaving. You wipe it off, slightly annoyed, especially since you can hear some suspicious snickering from behind you. You turn and glare at Hao but he just continues to laugh. You roll your eyes and cast your line out again, Chidori follows suit, thankfully, not laughing.
It's another long wait for the both of you when you get a good tug on your line. You brace yourself on the boat this Poké is a fighter! As you're busy Chidori is almost yanked right out of the boat. She just manages to save herself as she fights the Pokémon. You drag your catch up from the depth and it reluctantly surfaces, a Seadra. He is heaving with the effort of fighting you. Beside him with a great crashing wave another Lapras surfaces, chomping on the lure.

Alright, start of with Thunderwave, that'll reduce the squirming. Then hurl it on the boat, so it can't escape with Psychic. Finish with thunderbolt

With a flick of her rod Chidori releases the Lapras and he snorts before going off in the same direction the other Lapras left in. You yank the Seadra in close to the boat and hand release him so he knows you are going to fight him. He nods and looks to Chidori and she steps forward.

She is the first off the get-go with a crackle of electric energy. She sends a burst of dancing bolts into the water and they course through the Seadra's body. He groans as the electrical currents play with his muscle control but he has enough ability to call upon the sea. It surges upward and crashes over the boat. You, Alf and Chidori get drenched and Hao hurried leaps up into the air, just missing getting soaked. The force of the water is enough to sweep Chidori right off the boat.

You run over to the side but she appears, gasping for breath. She can hear the Seadra laughing on the other side. She gruntingly clambers back aboard and glares at the Seadra. He smirks but then realizes he is no longer in the water. She smashes him onto the boat with probably more force then was needed, but it made her feel better. He tries to retaliate, but well, is he sneezing? It looks like he is trying to Snore but he has to be asleep for that. Apparently the slam has addled his senses.

He is on his side on the boat and tries to get up but his muscle control is suddenly riddled with spasms. He is unable to do a thing and Chidori takes full advantage of his paralyses. She shocks the living daylights out of him. He bounces around with the force and he is groaning at the end of the round.

Hao comes down and you clamber aboard but Alf waves off your offer. He simply goes into his cabin, unwilling to leave his vessel. You shrug and take off, giving your orders as you go. Chidori immediately begins by splitting off three different images of herself. Seadra manages to get upright and looks between them. He chooses one and blasts an enormous amount of water at it. The torrent rips right through the double and Chidori reveals herself, smiling.

Now Chidori will shock her foe into the flood boards. She charges her electrical power and fires upon the very prone Seadra. He is shocked and bounces around with the force of the attack, falling back down. Chidori smiles but Seadra isn't giving up yet. A silvery beam is charging in his mouth. He blasts the 'buzz with a beam of liquid steel right in the stomach. With 'whoof' the air rushes out of her lungs and she goes down on one knee.

Once more Seadra finds his muscles unwilling to cooperate and he is left lying on the floorboards. Chidori takes her time to get to her feet before rushing the seahorse and chopping him right across the tail with her left hand. He groans but that is about all he can do.

Seadra is very tired of this being unable to move bit, and then being beat upon until he is near to sushi. He turns from the battle and calls upon the sky to make his opponent feel pain. Ice chunks on his head would be satisfactory. The storm clouds gather and rumble menacingly. Lightening dancing across the sky as the clouds become black. You are forced to land on the boat for fear of being struck out of the sky. You hide in the cabin with Alf and watch as the sea rolls. Finally the ice begins to fall. Not just on Chidori, but Seadra and Hao too. Nothing you can do and Chidori sparks as a chunk smashes dead centre on her head. She glares at the Seadra and powers up her Thunderbolt. With all the electricity around it takes shorter then usual and Seadra is once more bouncing on the deck.

Chidori wants this mess to end pronto and slams the Seadra up and down on the deck, giving him multiple bruises. The Seadra groans, he is defiantly not feeling very good right now. He does manage to get up though and he calls upon a power deep within him. Orbs of indigo light spin out from him and slam into Chidori. She grunts but shakes it off. Thankfully the Hidden Power was not of her weakness. You step out of the cabin, a hand covering you head from the chunks droping from the sky. You enlarge a Great Ball and toss it at the Seadra. He gets sucked in. One shake, two . . . three and he is caught!

Shrugging off the tendrils of electricity, Sie leaps again for Magneton and bites down with fiery fangs that sink in deep, leaving impressions. Sie tosses it away and roars at his foe and it retaliates by charging a heavy silver ball from its core. Raising a bit higher Megneton drops the steel orb on Sie’s face.

Growling, your dragon lunges with another flaming bite but Megneton is ready and darts into the sky with its Magnet Rise ability, narrowly escaping the heat…

While Chidori takes a breather, Hao stomps to the centre of the deck and roars long and loud at the sky. An odd tone is issuing from his throat and the storm stops, almost seeming to listen to Hao. Then, the winds pick up again, but the wind is dissipating the clouds and within a few minutes, the storm is all but gone. You watch as a wind tossed Pidgey(with a marker ring on his leg) dives down and grabs the Great Ball, heading off into the distance for the Safari Office.

While Alf turns the boat around you grab your rod and toss it out. Chidori is appreciating her break and Hao is crashed on the deck, snoring lightly. Just as your starting to make out details on the shore again, something gives a good yank on your reel. You struggle to real it in; it is not going to just come obligingly to the surface. As Alf slows his boat as he starts to reach the shallows, you pull the Pokémon to the surface. You see it's a Lanturn! He is screeching at you angrily but that doesn't distract you from staring at him in amazement. He's purple!

While you stare at him a Fearow lands on the beach, ready to take you to Feihzi Outpost if you wish.

Well now Atlas watches the Drifloon as the little guy floats there, huffing. Finally the little Pokémon takes a deep breath, greatly inflating his balloon body. As he breathes out a light blue mist comes pouring out with a light hiss. Atlas doesn't like this reducing visibility and zips into the world between. He finds the 'loon with ease here and he slams the little body, sending him spinning off into the haze.

As he looks around hopelessly for the Drifloon, a horrible smell reaches his nose, apparently that Skuntank from earlier has come wandering by. He waits, unable to see, and not wanting to hit the Pokémon by accident. As the smell fades he listens and he can hear what appears to be the Drifloon chanting to himself, along with a Lavitar calling for his fellows. Atlas tries to zero in on the Drofloon and he rushes through the fog, but trips on a tombstone and falls, kissing turf.

Atlas slowly gets up and looks around; he sees nothing in the mess of light blue haze all around him. He sighs and tries listening but all he gets is a weird pop sound. He frowns but can't get a fix on where it came from other then somewhere to his right. He turns and summons up a mysterious energy deep inside. A light green series of orbs goes spinning off into the mist, but he hears no sounds. He stomps the ground, annoyed.

You cut loose the Lanturn and he hurriedly swims back out to the depths. You then turn to Alf and thank him for the lift and fishing rods. He nods and you disembark returning Chidori and Hao. You wave as he heads back out to sea before turning to the Fearow. You clamber aboard and he powers himself up and into the sky.

Thankfully the ride is very short, as the landing area for the Feizhi Outpost is just inland. You pat the Fearow and thank him, before releasing your two partners once again. You traverse forward into the thick jungle peering around.

Before long the leaves rustle above you head and you see a Venomoth watching you carefully, ready to send a shimmering dangerous dust down any second. The leaves rustle at your feet and you leap aside as a Seviper and Ekans roll by, attacking each other. The Ekans is just managing to slither out of reach of the huge fangs by simply being smaller then his foe.

The Venomoth has had enough of this and flies off, a Treecko taking her place. She watches the battle from a safe distance, as a Paras comes out from the bushes beneath her, wondering just what is going on. A Tangela appears beside him, he is also curious.

The two combatants suddenly stop and just circle each other hissing, and you soon find out why. A Toxicroak hops in over the bushes, sizing the two Pokémon up. She then looks at you and her eyes glance to your Charizard and Electabuzz, evaluating them.

You back away slowly, your head lowered and you motion for your two Pokémon to do the same. Chidori has no problem but Hao has some difficulty submitting to the Toxicroak. You kick him and he reluctantly backs away. The 'croak looks smug and turns to the two snakes, as you turn away you see he takes on the Seviper and the Ekans slithers away.

You wander further, fighting your way through the thick foliage. A sweet scent fills your nose and you head over to see where it is coming from. A Carnivine is hanging down from a branch, her mouth wide open. You can just see a Venonat wandering through the bushes and trees. She is also headed toward the scent.

Suddenly the scent fades and a clean un-humid air fills your lungs. You look around for what caused the sudden change and see, a Leafeon not five feet from you. He is just sitting there watching the Carnivine and Venonat. He flicks a glance in your direction but otherwise pays you no mind.

I guess we can get hiss attention with a Flamethrower Hao. After that inflict a burn with Will-o-Wisp and finish with Air Slash

Hao is very eager for a fight and stomps up to his place with enthusiasm. He fills his great draconic lungs and as breaths out it combines with an explosive liquid to burst into flame and stream for the Leafeon. He turns his head just in time to see the flame engulf him. He shrieks in pain and outrage.

This of course promptly scares off the Venonat and the Carnivine hurriedly moves to a new area to try and get dinner. Just as the flames stop a flurry of sharp leaves detach themselves from the Leafeon and fly for Hao. They imbed themselves in his skin, or slice it but it hardly does anything to the Fire and Flying type.

Hao then breathes in but this time as he breathes out, the makes it zoom out with great speed. The flames this time are bright blue they are so hot. The Leafeon is breathing hard but this time his eyes are on Hao and he leaps out of the way before the flames can hit him. He turns on a paw and sprints at Hao. He leaps and slams into the great Dragon's belly, causing the air to rush out, along with some flame by accident. The Leafeon leaps off the stunned Charizard, his shoulder bruised but well worth it.

Hao angrily gets to his feet and purposely flaps his wings so that as he gets airborne the Leafeon is in his backwash and is blown over. The Leafeon yells at him, but then a smug expression comes over his face. He sits and rustles his leafy appendages softly and whistles in a very soothing tone. Hao listens but his concentration on flying prevents the attack from taking any real effect. When he reaches the apex of his climb he dives, right through a 'karp-load of trees. This is a jungle after all. Meanwhile the Leafeon tries to scrabble out of the way but its to late, trees or no, Hao rakes him across his back with all four of his taloned limbs. The Leafeon cries out and skids to a stop, shaking in pain.

Ok then Atlas. Lets start off with Sunny Day. Hopefully that'll help clear the bothersome fog. If it clears enough for you to find that thing, use a Stone Edge to knock that subsitute into next week, followed by another Faint Attack. If the fog isn't clear, then 2 Faint Attacks, since you seem to be able to locate him better that way.
