Comic #7: Jaden, Marik, and Kikyo are perfect for Shup, Mew4, and Toxicity. The others I didn't recognize, but the last panel made me chuckle for some reason. Nicely orchestrated. 8/10

The best one yet. I was chuckling the whole time, but the last panel clinched it for me. 9.5/10

As for the "different side of me," I don't often do comedy in my fics (and hardly ever slapstick-style comedy), so I thought this'd be a nice change of pace.

#7: Heh, I like how you gave each character their own introduction. Short, sweet and to the point. I'm not sure about Mew4 and Samchu and eevee-shayna but all the others, the characters you picked seem pretty dead-on

#8: LMAO LMAO LMAO Oh damn, that was great. COMPLETELY unexpected on my part, but definitely worth it. Your best cartoon yet.

Also, I've been thinking for a while, but I realize why I'm liking this "webcomic" so much. Its reminding me a whole deal about "Penny Arcade" which has a bunch of extremely funny comics related for gamers (don't know if anyone's also checked that out)

Anyways, keep up the awesome work Pika (or should I say keep "up" Little Pika? )

Number 8 was the highlight since it does show Mr Pikachu in his remarkable birthday suit, hosting the award.

#9: Wondering about the song on Gavin's phone? I looked through the "Post the song you're listening to" thread in Miscellaneous, then got the opening lyrics for it online.

By the way, the song was 20th Century Boy by Def Leppard, though the song was originally done by T-Rex.

And the title should be familiar to some of the older members. It's the second reference to a TPM fic, and it won't be the last. Depending on how you interpret the title, it could be pretty funny or really dirty. And funny.

Yeah, Gavin's a bit irritated, I'd say. As for Martin, he's standing in the corner of the awards hall. (In the anime, I believe he was in some sort of temple, though I don't recall exactly. That was one of the early episodes, if I remember correctly. And it's been awhile since I've seen those.)

One big problem, Pister. Your dialogue bubbles aren't organized in a way, at least in this comic, that I can tell who's saying what, and in what order.

Mega: Well, it's generally left-to-right. If there's a major divide between the height of sections, then that's considered a new line. Just like reading a book.

I did notice some difficulties with organizing the dialogue in the early pages; I think it's better later on. Another area in which there's been improvement.

Number 8 was good - pushed the boundaries - but I thought this one, number 9, was hilarious. And relieving, because it explains why you've been stalking me in the 'post the song you're listening to' thread. I actually kept reading those lyrics over and over going, "I know this, I know this, but what the hell is it?" Heh. Ten points for thorough background research.

As for the rest - I'm sure I've never been that cranky, though at least one of the phrases there might have actually come out of my mouth at some point, I'm not sure. Martin's classic "How the hell do you turn this thing off?" was great. And deprecating for me, but it's true I talk too much.

Last thing - the dialogue box for "ARGH! MY VIRGIN EYES!" wasn't that clear. I'm guessing it's meant to be the people in the awards hall being exposed to - er - mr_pikachu's birthday suit, but I also considered that it could have been my character ... just cause I tend to use that phrase occasionally.

Anyway - good work as always, and so entertaining. Keep it up.

Yeah, I read it as me saying "how the hell do you turn this thing off", mr_pika saying "it's usually so much more impressive than this" (a continuation of #8), and someone saying "argh my virgin eyes". That could be me as well, given the same bubble style; however, haven't my virgin eyes been burnt out already by this stage? So I don't know. Yeah, differentiating speakers by bubble style is a touch too subtle. Ideally people shoulnd't be re-reading and matching bubble styles to figure out who's saying what. But I wouldn't have a clue what other way would be better.

The whole wardrobe malfunction was really hillarious and the call between the two TPM members was quite funny ... and it got really funny with the last line ... "ARGH! MY VIRGIN EYES!" Oh, I don't know if I will be able to recover from that one.

#10: I realized that I needed to look for a lot more pictures while I was doing this page, especially for the main characters. There had to be a lot of reference material for the ones who would be used often, and it had to show different emotions in different ways to fit graphics and other things in when necessary. Now I've got over 20 different images of some of the major players, and I'll be getting a lot more.

Also, note that this is only the second appearance of The Missing Link, who was first seen in #1.

I liked the use of pictures in that issue the most. Although using scenes from the previous chapters (panel 3) made it feel a bit rehashed. I liked the last panel. I can totally see Becca lurking.

Also, before i drew the connection to issue one, I found the last panel funny simply because an outsider hears someone being called mega horny. I didn't even realize the wordplay on the Pokemon attack (mega horn) at first.

Chris: Well, it'll be hard for me to avoid re-using pictures. I try, believe me, but sometimes it's nearly impossible to do so. (As an example, do you realize how few official Evangelion pictures actually show Shinji smiling? If I need him to be happy, I don't have much of a choice.)

Becca does seem sort of like someone who'd skulk around in the shadows, huh?

And yeah, MH's name is odd. That's apparently the whole reason why he chose that TPM name; as far as I know, he bears no affinity with Bug Pokemon. ^_^;;

I believe we may just have found the funniest quote for the next Award ceremony. Nice job tying Becca in, too. 9.5/10
