#6: This time, the repetition was done for effect rather than just because of laziness. Also, check out the title. If that doesn't reveal the pictured character's identity, you really need to read more fanfics!

By the way, I counted 37 phrases and 70 Blahs. But this issue is still funny. What makes it funny is the ramblings of Mega Horny to the mysterious person. I like how panel 5 is nothing but ramblings on and on and on. But still hillarious. Can't wait to see the next issue.

As for the mercenary, his identity hasn't been revealed! All we really know is that Mega Horny found it necessary to hire him. When it's revealed, the info will be added to the character guide. ^_^

The effect was pulled off thoroughly well mr_pika, it's an interesting technique but it does give the illusion of a different shot despite not delivering one and it sucessfully creates the effect that everything Mega Horny is saying has been muted and all we're hearing is the mercenary's inner thoughts (as well as making it clear that mega Horny won't shut up).

The humour is well placed in this issue, particularly Mega Horny's closing line, and as added amusement a viewer can pick out mini easter eggs in the frames (Frame Five, Top Centre: Anal Probe, is my favourite).

Quite liking the way this comic is going so far and the pace is quite satisfactory (although I would venture to guess that at some point the pace will have no choice but to slow a little).

Yes mr_Pikachu nice use of the word Blah I think you captured the essence of Mega Horny quite well. Also for the phrases I counted something like 43.

Unfortunately, this episode didn't do much for me - the single repeated frame over and over wasn't too exciting, and MH's droning is something I'm already too used to to find it that funny. Though, the Easter eggs coupled with me being the primary focus in this panel saved some points. 5/10

Overall score so far: 7/10.

We need more comedy! More, I say! (cracks whip)

Blademaster: Was it too much of an inside joke for you, then? I am glad to know you can be bribed with simple games and ego-boosting... that'll come in handy later, I'm sure. Though I'm curious about what you mean with the whole "I am the primary focus" part...

#7: Will they be major players in the future? Or will they be tossed aside and forgotten? Only time will tell the fate of these Fanficcers...

This is the first time that every single frame used a different picture. That's a lot more work than just pulling Ctrl+C, Ctrl+E all the time. (With my program, yes, it's Ctrl+E for the Paste Into Picture option.)

As a bit of trivia, I hadn't initially planned to start this arc so soon, but it seemed appropriate to jumpstart the main plotline. This was basically a spur-of-the-moment thing when I was trying to figure out what would be a good follow-up to the partnership in #6.

One more thing... Chobits is the only series that yields two characters, at least for a long time to come. Otherwise it would've been essentially impossible to get one panel with them together. There wasn't much of a choice but to make an exception to the rule.

I tried guessing at some of these characters, and I got everyone wrong except for Mewfour. I thought Shuppet Master was Dark Sage, Toxicity was Gabi, MoP I just had no idea, and I wasn't sure who the focus of the fifth frame was. Now I see it's both. Cool. I must say that this arc seems really random... but I guess I'll see.

Speaking of quick updates...

#8: The wardrobe malfunction was completely unplanned. I was looking for a good picture for panel two, and I found a whole set that was better than anything I had in mind.

This page actually made me hesitant about continuing the project, as I had to consider whether I wanted my character to be viewed in such a way - it would have been bad for this to reflect on how people viewed me. But then I said "screw it" and kept going.

If you haven't seen the title yet, take a look. I think it's the best one so far. And I'm not giving away the reference, because you should be ashamed if you don't know it.
