Boom retaliates with another pair of rock slides, causing the houndoom to flinch! Talk about a lucky break!

Proving that you are up-to-date on your clichés, you elect not to just hand the shards over to Cain. He sighs and directs you through the library until you find the book in question. Excitedly, you pour into the book anxiously looking for rituals. As you're distracted, Cain wanders around aimlessly. You pay him no mind until the bookshelf topples down on top of you! Oh crap!

You pull yourself out of the book pile and wrestle yourself away from the bookshelf. You are quite sore, but otherwise okay. You almost mutter out a "What the hell!?" to Cain, but before the words can leave your lips, you suffer a swift punch to the face by the man in black. Wow, he really doesn't let up, does he? You struggle to fight back, but Cain does not relent whatsoever. As you fight him blow for blow, you begin to feel very light-headed. And woozy. And...

You hit the floor like a sack of bricks.

You wake up several moments later with the shards missing. Cain must've distracted you while you were drugged! Shit! It doesn't seem like he got everything though, as your poké balls are still on your person.

Well, that's not good...

Hashmal alerts you to the window -- the once slightly cloudy afternoon has turned hellishly dark as rain begins to pour from the skies and flashes of light become more and more frequent. Wonderful.

You quickly summon Buzzer to help take on this beast, hoping that he can be helpful despite sleeping. Houndoom, upon laying eyes upon the snoozing dragon, closes his own eyes and infects Buzzer with a nasty nightmare! This defeats the purpose of the sleeping! Buzzer, in his intense fear, has much louder and more devastating snores, throwing Houndoom for a terrible loop and giving your team a much needed break! The mega stone dislodges itself from the hound, bringing him back to his primary form! Talk about lucky breaks!

Boom takes advantage of the smaller foe with three stone-checks. Houndoom yelps in pain as Raff quickly snatches away the mega stone and tosses it over to you!

The boss in black doesn't even seem phased by the quick turn around, and instead pulls out another poké ball, calling forth another huge pokémon:

mysterious gentleman "You've bested me here, Trainer, but you won't do it again. Enjoy your toys..."

He climbs aboard the large hydra, recalls Houndoom, and flies away, leaving you and a severely weakened Kyurem. Buzzer finally awakens after that cursing nightmare.
