Director, it falls on you. Find Megazord! Astrid told me that he could fight this if he tried. Find him and snap him out of this spell using any means necessary! You're our best hope for this!

Duckbot, since this sleep doesn't seem to be effecting you as harshly, try to use Sleep Talks...

    GREYFOX'S SAFARI ADVENTCHA!

    Grave's Yard
A frightening place where all the worst stories originate. Home to Ghost and Dark type pokemon, you may find a rare Psychic type, but only the bravest dare tread here.

    ‡ Round 130 ‡

The Park Director looks left and right for some sign of Megazord. When at last he spies your golem in the crowd, he takes one step forward... only to wind up taking a Dark Void to the back of the head. He falls and is consumed by a fit of thrashing.

Meanwhile, you issue commands to Inverted Duckbot. Miraculously, your Porygon-Z responds to the commands and begins Sleep Talking: it Sharpens before attacking with an ineffective Psybeam and a Discharge. The Electric-type move crackles against Darkrai and actually seems to land some damage, fortunately.

"Interesting," Mistress Miyako murmurs, lucid again. "I should have seen this coming. Porygon-Z is an inorganic species of Pokemon and thus cannot dream as vividly as you and I do. Oh, it still dreams, yes, but they're synthetic images falsely implanted in its head. It can't be pulled into its dreams like the others."

Right on cue, Inverted Duckbot wakes from its slumbers... only to take another pair of Focus Blasts.

    How do you proceed?

    > Issue commands
    > Do nothing
    > Those hills are lookin' awfully tempting right now, aren't they?

Dammit... this is still bad, and Miyako's just commenting...

Duckbot, use Recover hastily, then Signal Beam and Hidden Power!

Meanwhile, I'm gonna get to Megazord and convince him to come back to our team!

    GREYFOX'S SAFARI ADVENTCHA!

    Grave's Yard
A frightening place where all the worst stories originate. Home to Ghost and Dark type pokemon, you may find a rare Psychic type, but only the bravest dare tread here.

    ‡ Round 131 ‡

You head off in search of Megazord. Meanwhile, Inverted Duckbot glows brightly as it Recovers some of its lost health. However, the health increase is not enough for what Darkrai does next: still playing the spam card pretty hard right about now, the Pitch-Black Pokemon releases a trio of Focus Blasts, striking Duckbot again and again and again with concentrated chi energy. Your Pokemon keels over in defeat.

You approach Megazord, who towers over you imperiously.

Darkrai drifts forward in an attempt to waylay you, but Mistress Miyako leaps in front of him.

"No!" she shouts. "I will not let you attack this good human! You are a horrible, despicable creature for what you did to poor Astrid. She deserved better than to be subjected to your wrath. I may have never battled in the entirety of my life, Darkrai, but I'm willing to try!"

She awkwardly raises her pincers like boxing gloves, clearly unsure what to do with them.

    How do you proceed?

    > Issue commands to Mistress Miyako
    > Deliver Megazord a rousing speech
    > Flee

Megazord, you need to snap out of it! Pretend this giant monster is wrecking the city, and come to our aid! If it helps, I'll play you some music!

    GREYFOX'S SAFARI ADVENTCHA!

    Grave's Yard
A frightening place where all the worst stories originate. Home to Ghost and Dark type pokemon, you may find a rare Psychic type, but only the bravest dare tread here.

    ‡ Round 132 ‡

You make a desperate plea to Megazord, even offering him an epic musical cue. You scan his face for any hint of emotion before remembering that, well, he's not really prone to emotion even when he's not being brainwashed by a big malevolent Legendary Pokemon.

Before you can find out whether or not it truly is Morphin' Time, Darkrai lets out an enraged cry. He flings a flickering black sphere at Mistress Miyako, causing her to fall and convulse, and then hurls a second at you. However, his aim appears to be off: the Dark Void just barely skims over your head and collides with Megazord instead. Your beloved golem falls. Much like Inverted Duckbot, Megazord appears calm and placated while sleeping.

"It's over, human," Darkrai intones. "You fought admirably. Even despite my best attempts, you and your attendants put up an impressive fight. Now, concede defeat. There is nothing left you can do."

    How do you proceed?

    > Concede defeat
    > Issue commands to Megazord
    > Is it too late for fleeing?

I refuse! You're a tough one, assuredly so, Darkrai, but as long as I'm breathing, I'm not done with you.

Zord! Sleep Talk as much as you can.

I'm gonna try to wake up Chopin -- or at least try to get him to navigate the nightmares!

    ‡ Round 133 ‡

You can almost picture it in your head: you heroically issuing commands to Megazord who then rises in triumph and vanquishes Darkrai once and for all, perhaps with a some critical help from Chopin. It would have been epic and satisfying and poetic. It would have been awesome. Unfortunately, that's just not what fate had in mind.

Before you can even open your mouth, Darkrai conjures up one final Dark Void and throws it at you.

    All goes black.

    ‡ Round 134 ‡

    CYNDER'S SAFARI ADVENTCHA!

    Platrin Plateau
A strange, mysterious temple set high in the sky. Here, you will find exceptionally strong Pokemon in the various rooms and spaces of this ancient land set high in the sky. If you are lucky, you may stumble on a Legend or two?

    ‡ Round 144 ‡

You press open the heavy doors and step into the Tao Shrine. Everything heris a chaotic swirl of black and white marble and you press yourself forward, passing through a sea of sturdy pillars. You realize the Dark Stones in your pack are starting to hum as though reacting with their surroundings. You continue until you come upon two massive statues of Reshiram and Zekrom towering above you. Standing before them are matching pedestals, each with spaces for three circular stones. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what you're supposed to do with your Stones, then.

Standing between the two statues is Steve. The three Light Stones hover Psychically around him.

"Hello, Cynder," he says impassively. "So glad you finally made it."

    How do you proceed?

    ‡ Round 135 ‡

You get up and look around. The bedroom in which you presently find yourself contains a computer, a dresser, a bookshelf, a television and a gaming console. You also see a set of stairs heading down to the floor below.

    How do you proceed?

Steve, you've really lost yourself. You turned against your own friend, and for what? To mess with a few people and disturb a legendary Pokemon? If that's your idea of fun, then that's pretty sick.

    GREYFOX'S SAFARI ADVENTCHA!

    ???
    ???

    ‡ Round 136 ‡

Feeling a distinct sense of deja-vu, you check out the items in your room (and even score a free Potion from the PC! whoo!) before heading downstairs. There, a kind-faced woman is sitting at the dining room table.

    "Good morning, Red!" she chimes.

Did she just say... Red? You think the woman has her colours mixed up. Before you can remark that the name is Grey, not Red, you catch a glimpse of yourself in a nearby hanging mirror. You look... a little odd. And a little young. And, um, your colour scheme is a little drab.

    ‡ Round 145 ‡

With the Dark Stones in hand, you head toward the black pedestal while chastising Steve.

"Fun?" Steve comments. "This has nothing to do with fun. Do you know how I was treated as a student at the Pokemon Collegiate Institute? What I endured growing up? Every loser who ever tormented me or disrespected me in any way is about to experience what I had to go through. Salvador may have thought this was about fun, but this is about nothing but revenge, plain and simple."

Suddenly, a red glow outlines your body. Steve violently thrusts you backwards with a Psychic attack and you land hard on the ground. The Dark Stones fall out of your grasp start rolling across the smooth marble floor away from you.

Sabaku, you're the fastest use Protect and Agility and grab those stones before they roll away whilst preventing Steve from stopping you. Get them into the stand to revive Zekrom. Ernesta, Elmira, help me out here and use Spider Web and String Shot to bind up Steve and nab the white stones.

Revenge? Really? By attacking those who crossed you you're sinking to their level. No matter how tempting revenge may seem, what's the point in it? You're just attacking Pokemon that made mistakes when they were young. Dragging up the past just isn't worth it; move on.

    ‡ Round 146 ‡

"What's the point?" Steve repeats incredulously. "Such a viewpoint is a luxury reserved for those who haven't been tormented as I have. Don't talk about what you don't know, girl."

Your Pokemon leap into action. Ernesta and Elmira release a combined flurry of String Shot and Spider Web that shoot across the room at Steve, but the Porygon merely throws up a Protective barrier to keep them at bay. Sabaku then tries to combine Protect and Agility in order to make a mad dash for the Dark Stones. The Protect works alright, but since Agility isn't one of Sabaku's learnable moves your Flygon merely ends up tripping over her own feet.

Steve, meanwhile, uses Psychic to lift the Dark Stones over toward him. They hum louder now that they're in such close proximity to the Light Stones.

"That was really the best you have to offer?" he asks in snide disbelief.

You don't need to use any of the standard Rocket-issued Pokemon. In fact, how about this: catch six of your own Pokemon and come find me. Then we'll talk. Does this sound good with you?"

    How do you proceed?

    Pallet Town
    A Pure White Beginning

    ‡ Round 140 ‡

You make tentative plans with the Rocket Grunt before heading to the Pokemon lab. You step inside and see none other than Professor Oak standing at the far side of the room. Egads! It's the famed Pokemon Professor himself!

He's watching the window closely, making sure nobody steps into the grass to the north of town.

    ‡ Round 141 ‡

"Oh, hello, Red!" Professor Oak greets as he turns around. "Usually I just ambush small children as they step out into tall grass and then force them to collect Pokemon data I should logically already have in my possession. However, since you're coming up to me, that saves a bit of work on my part. So, let's cut to the chase: Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle are your options. They're all pretty badass. Bulbasaur is pretty neat, Charmander is cool and grows into something even cooler that can FRIGGIN' FLY like woah and Squirtle comes with a free pair sunglasses. Make your choice."

    How do you proceed?

    > Charmander!

Alright then, there's no swaying him. Let's just go and grab everything, all 6 of us, using a Protective barrier to stop further Psychics. If he uses Protect, pile on and just WAIT until it wears off. Let's see him overpower all 6 of us!

You back from vaycay, Cynder? :3 We resume Jirachi questing?

    CYNDER'S SAFARI ADVENTCHA!

    Platrin Plateau
A strange, mysterious temple set high in the sky. Here, you will find exceptionally strong Pokemon in the various rooms and spaces of this ancient land set high in the sky. If you are lucky, you may stumble on a Legend or two?

    ‡ Round 147 ‡

You and your Pokemon huddle close and raise a massive Protective bubble around yourselves. You then begin to march steadily forth toward Steve, who still doesn't seem threatened. Working swiftly, he places the three Light Stones on the White Pedestal and the three Dark Stones on the Black Pedestal. The room is then consumed by a blaze of light.

    Then, when the light clears...

    ...you see them.

The statues have come to life.

    ‡ Round 142 ‡

You pick... Squirtle! Professor Oak hands over a Pokeball which you open. It's empty.

"Oh, shoot, that's right," Professor Oak says. "See, I totally forgot that I gave my last Squirtle away to another trainer earlier. It's the senility, you see. Gets me every time. So yeah, you're going to have to pick something else. My bad."

Yeah, I'm back! I'll continue asap, I'm just catching up with some things I've left behind. Mainly, homework and dA xD I'll get the nex round up in... not too long, maybe an hour or so?

You have both?! NO FAIR! Reshiram, Zekrom, do you realise that Steve's only using you to cause destruction? Violence truly never is the answer, and an ideal world is one without unneccessary suffering. He'll be both violent and cause suffering in his little quest. Do you want to be involved in that?

    GREYFOX'S SAFARI ADVENTCHA!

    Pallet Town
    A Pure White Beginning

    ‡ Round 143 ‡

You decide to get a Pikachu instead.

"Yeah, alright, you got me," Professor Oak says. "I was just trolling you. Pikachu is all I have. So yeah, here you go! Also, here are five Pokeballs. I'd give you a Pokedex as well but let's be honest: you're never going to use the damn thing. And since I already got my fucking PhD in Pokeymanz, I don't need some ten-year-old child running around the countryside in order to teach me what a friggin' Oddish is."

You open the Pokeball and, with a flash of light, a Pikachu emerges.

You can't really explain why, but you feel like you recognize this particular Pikachu from somewhere. In fact, you feel an implicit bond between the pair of you as though you've been friends and partners for a long time now. Judging by the look on Pikachu's face, it feels the same. It looked relieved to see you.

    How do you proceed?

    Cool beans.

    ‡ Round 148 ‡

You and your Pokemon look up in awe at Reshiram and Zekrom. It's actually them. You make a passionate plea in order to sway them to the side of pacifism, but the two Legendary Pokemon appear undaunted by your words. In fact, if they even heard you speak at all, their countenances don't show it. They remain completely stoic. Steve smirks.

"Don't you get it?" Steve scoffs. "I restored Reshiram and Zekrom. I possess the Light and Dark Stones. The Dragons listen to me now. Once I tricked you into getting me the first Light Stone, I knew I could also count on you guys to go after the Dark Stones and bring them to me. Virtuous people are so easily manipulated. Now, Reshiram, Zekrom... I need you to hold the six of them at bay while I figure out how the next part of my plan is supposed to work."

Suddenly, Steve pulls out an old weathered scroll he starts reading furiously. You also see that he has two small electronic gadgets in his possession.

Eh? This was supposed to be much more straightforward than this!
