Hey guys, I appologise to everyone, including all those in ASBRPG for not being on these last two days. I decided to go back to Ft Worth for a three day weekend and my sisters birthday. Only to find no net at the house, we only just got it back now. Anyway I am sorry guys.

(Don't worry - I cleared away all the land mines... well, I think I got 'em all, anyway. )

I have noticed a lot of RPG's in this forum fall by the wayside due to inactivity by some players, so I was just thinking, maybe the RPG Forum needs something like ASB's Absence Tower - that way, if any players are going to be away for a certain amount of time, or they just wish to quit a certain RPG, they can at least let everyone else know so the absence can be dealt with more quickly/easily.

Any thoughts on this?

Anyway, this has been bugging me for awhile - can someone PLEASE explain to me, in the simplest, least headache-inducing way possible, the difference between ASB and ASBRPG?

And the first person to give me a sarcastic answer like 'ASBRPG is a role-playing version of ASB.' gets popped, gots it?!

In ASB you are allowed to start off with any Pokemon that are not evolved. ASBRPG on the other hand allows you only a set of starters to begin with and thus like the game you have to go out and collect them. We try and keep ASBRPG more character based with events that happen such as the Legendary Rampage, and the Festival.

So basically, and I am trying to side step the stipulations of your post XP. ASB is more techincal, it is more around the battle with less having to make a unique team, such as capturing Pokemon and having to buy TMs like in ASBRPG. Basically the Pokemon game with Rented Pokemon or Cheat Codes on. While ASBRPG is more character based where you work to get where you want. Also we have been trying a new battle system in which evolving your Pokemon serves a purpose in that you get more health and other stats in battle instead of the usual 100.

Anyway hope that helps.
