Are you sure? I don't see why you need to release them, if they will still be in your stories. You can just not have them battle unless you feel like it. By releasing them, you're losing the posibility of allowing them to battle/race/etc. ever again.

For a (still undetermined) limited time, everyone whose team isn't full may adopt one non-evolved level 5 pokemon of their choice (no legendaries and no Dratinis, and by unevolved I mean they have to be at a stage they can be born as, so Mantine, Snorlax, etc. are available).

You can pick the gender... as long as it's a valid gender for the pokemon you choose. And yes, you can.

You can challenge another AC/CC trainer over PM to face them at the Battle Tower thread. There's also a sort of a Dragon Tamers story thread that you can use to write your battles and level up your Pokemon that way.

Rules are posted at the beginning of every thread and also in the rules thread. And about TMs, if you got them with the adopted or captured poke then you don't have to explain how they learned them, although it makes for interesting Dragon Tamers story material.

I've actually read all the rules topics but there are still some things I don't quite understand, like if our stories are suppose to effect one another . If they don't I can use it as a fun fanfic series thingie...And if we give our trainer characters backgrounds etc...I'm not a big fan of writing pokemon as little humans, I like writing them as animal-like :3
