{Game} The Crystal Caves Capture Center Version 10 (MA)

[Bamm]

You play with the Pokeball of your newest Pokemon, Tyrouge, amusing yourself as you wander along the Eastern Caves. You weave the Pokeball through your fingers, watching the orb circle around your phlanges. As with how most of these kind of things end up, the ball falls from your hand! The ball falls to the ground and begins to roll away...downhill. Well...thats quite an inconvient place to have a hillish portion of a cave. Anyway, as you arrive in the room below, you find a small Murkrow family, guarding a nest of eggs...and one Pokeball. Hmm...something clever needs ot be done, eh? Scanning the room, you find a few rocks and some sand within your range to grab and out of the Murkrow's view. What do you do?

Eastern Caverns

"How inconvenient," I say to myself. I grab the rock and throw it off into a corner, hoping the Murkrow(s) go check it out. I grab a handful of sand and attempt to run, throw the sand into their eyes, grab Tyrogue, and get the hell out of there.

Saying farewell to the hydrophobic Bagon and the helpful Mudkip, you continue to wander along the riverbed, hoping to find Pokemon that will satisfy your wants. Your feet splosh as your sneakers sink into the wet dirt, the waters temporarly receded. You peer over to the water, the cool, blue liquid running downward. Preoccupied by your view, you don't notice the thing you have stepped on as your foot sank. A Shellder clamps onto your foot, angry that you had placed your foot on it. What do you do?

Eep. I'll tell the Shellder that I'm really sorry I stepped on it, and that I didn't mean it. I will kindly ask it to let go of my foot, because I must proceed. I hope it will, I really do want to move on. o_o;

By the way, is Lapras male or female? You didn't mention it in the post. ^^;

You nod at the Metagross, understanding his complaint, and quietly walk away. Moving onward, you hope to encounter the Pokemon you seek. As you wander through the caves, you feel a sense of foreboding. Something in the air isn't quite right. You place your hand on the wall and find it...moist? Lifting your hand, you find that its covered in red liquid...uh oh? Suddenly, footsteps lumber closer toward you, seemingly being dragged along. What do you do?

South Caverns

I turn around to face the footsteps slowly... (I find myself lacking the ability to rationally do much else..)

Quickly, you whip out another Crystal Ball and lob it to the Numel. The ball strikes, sending out a yellow beam to envelop the Numel, sucking it into the crystalline orb. The ball settles without struggle, and Numel ducks into the safety of the capturing device.

Smiling at the fact that Numel is safe, you turn to find your smile draining away as the Tyranitar comes closer and closer to turning you into a human pancake. You place your hands into your pockets and sigh...until you find that you have a package in your pocket. Its some sleep powder you bought at the Kiosk! You quickly toss it at the Tyranitar, the powder package bursting at contact, scattering the calming scent all around the Tyranitar. The giant lizard begins to slow down, finally falling to the ground, fast asleep. What do you do?

Moonlight Espeon
Psyrock digs uses his telepathic powers and breaks off a piece of the earth, ready to fling it at the octopus pokemon. Unfortunately, your plan didn't consider one thing...Sneasel doesn't have the Octillery trapped :/ The Octillery scoots to the as the rock flies by. Enraged, the Octillery sends out a blast of water at Psyrock, sending the stone psychic to the ground in a wet clump. What do you do?

You turn to face the approaching being. A Houndoom, covered in red liquid, slides up to you, a brainless/brain-hungry look in his eye. He glows with an eerie purple aura and seems to thrist...for blood :O :O :O What do you do!?!?!

The Murkrow being conversing with each other, and they split into two groups, one guarding the nest, and the other investigating the noise. Smiling, you jump out of hiding and dash up to the nest. The remaining Murkrow being to retaliate, ready to protect their soon to be young ones. You toss the dust at the flock, temporarly blinding them. You slide around the nest and grab the orb. You duck back out of the room, grinning in glee as your planned worked without fail...well...except for the fact that your Pokeball turned ovalish...wha!?!? You managed to accidentally pluck a Murkrow egg :/ A Machop riding a Houndaur pass by and ask why your stealing eggs. What do you do now?

Excuse my language, but OH SHIT!!!!! Wait... he's glowing.. O_oU Creepy and cool. Purple-glowing Houndoom! ^_^.... That wants to eat me... O_O Weighing the knowledge that the blood-psycho Houndoom more than likely wants to eat me, and can outrun me, I'll throw my Masterball at him and capture him. Great, I'll own a Poke that wants to kill me.. But at least he has a purple glow... v_vU I'll then let him out once I've caught him and see if he looks any better. If he still wants to eat me, I'll recall him quickly and continue on my way.

The pack's laughter fades away at that, as they realise that Poochyena was successfully captured; the leader glares at you, but before it can move, the Umbreon tackles it, sending it tumbling to the ground some metres away.
Turning to you, it then smiles and asks you to make sure you take care of the Poochyena before turning and begining to round up the rest of the pack.

Manging to catch himself just before crashing into the ground, Beaky hurridly swoops back up, but the Kangaskhan has turned, drawn back as her baby stumbles after her, whining.
What are you going to do?

Realising that the psychotic Pokémon will more than likely be able to outrun you, you quickly grab the Masterball and fling it, just as the Houndoom snarls and lunges forward.
The ball smacks it across the head, opens and instantly envelopes it; the ball clatters onto the floor, before the light almost immediately goes out.

Nervously picking up the ball, you send out your new Pokémon, who looks rather stunned at suddenly being caught like that, and just stares at you, though you can't help but notice that the ravenous look in his eyes is still there.

As you pull out two Pokéballs, the Houndour and Machop mutter to each other, before the Houndour turns and says that they'll try and help get your friend back, but they won't be joining a team just like that.

Entering a corridor running away from the Poochyena cave, you hurry along it, gradually hearing the sounds of the pack fade away, being replaced by a scuffling sound coming from ahead of you.
Walking coser, you manage to spot a Bagon seemingly sulking and slinking round while on the opposite side of the cave a Sableye and a Mankey chatter happily, oblivious of you or the Bagon.
What are you going to do?

A white shape catches you eye, that is sprawled asleep off to your left; it's an Absol, the blade on its head tapping against the ground as it snores.
There's also a Torkoal slowly making its way along the ground, pausing every now and then to glance around for any possible danger.
What are you going to do?

You thank the Pokemon for it's useful information, and continue along in the desert. You wipe off a sweatbead from your forehead, the unbearable heat getting to you. After a bit, you plop down onto the sand under you and grumble about how sand is annoying when you're wearing sneakers as you shake sand out of your shoes. Suddenly, you feel yourself get lifted up into the air. I've heard of being lifted up when you're down, but this is redicullous. You stare down to find that you've been sitting on a Geodude. What do you do?

Desert

Well, whilst having sand in my shoes would certainly be annoying, sitting on a Geodude would be even worse. I'll jump off and apologise really sincerely, and tell him that I never meant to sit on him (or her). Then, I'll finish shaking the sand out of my shoes, put them back on, and continue walking through the Desert.

I pull out my Box of Food and offer him three pieces and see if he wants to try them. Or course, I'll be careful incase he tries to bite me. That wouldn't be good. If he likes them, I bought the Box especially for him and he can eat as many as he wants. If he refuses them, then I'll tell him that that's all I have and that I won't let him eat other people/Pokemon. If he tries to attack me at any point, I'll recall him. If he wants to eat the whole box, fine by me. When he's done(and I haven't recalled him yet for trying to eat me again) I'll ask if he wants to walk with me or travel in his Master Ball. Either way is fine and we'll continue on from there accordingly. And if I have to recall him, I'll do so and from that point I'll continue on.Though if he's outside of his Master Ball, I'll want to keep a close eye on him, just in case.

BTW, his name is Nukpana, or Nuka for short, his BOM is Rest, Level 10 TM is Snore, and his Trait is Early Bird.

When he's finally vanished into the heat haze, you slow down, because you've noticed a Swinub trying to dig a hole in the sand, sobbing to herself. It looks like the little ice type is melting slightly o_O
What looks like an Omastar's shell is also buried in the sand behind her.
What are you going to do?

Grinning nervously as you produce three pieces of food from the box, you hold it out for Nuka; he snarls, but seems to be unsure which easy food to go after. In the end, he dcides to go for both and lunges to attemtp to fix his teeth onto your hand...but you manage to recall him just in time.
Sighing, you drop the food back into the box and walk on.
In the next room, a Drowzee and a Meditite are sitting motionless on the floor; they aren't moving, but instinct says that they're doing something.
What are you going to do?

Sneasel takes the offered Poké Ball, but doesn't activate it, watching as you fling the Ultra Ball at the retreating Octillery.
After absorbing the Pokémon inside, the ball clatters down and begins to shake violently, rolling round on the floor, before the light goes out.

After seeing what happened to the Octillery, the Sneasel pulls a face and drops the Poké Ball at your feet and steps back, frowning a little.

Wincing at the Shellder, you run past the helpless Feebas, trying to put enough distance between you and them so you can't hear what happens next.
After a couple of minutes, the Shellder begins to make soft wheezing sounds, looking at a spot in the water where a Ludicolo is dancing, enthusiastically splashing its audience, which consists of a Spheal and a Remoraid.
What are you going to do?

Walking past the Torkoal startles it, sending it trundling away; ignoring it, you wander curiously into the next cave.
A light is burning here, because a Rapidash has settled down, seemingly relaxing, while around it a Spoink and a Beldum are playing.
However, as you draw nearer, you notice that it's not as peaceful as it initially looked; the Rapidash's sides are scarred and marked, and its breathing is harsh.
What are you going to do?

Uninterested in what you can see, you stride past the Bagon and the other two, but pause again as you feel a slight tremor ripple across the ground.
Slowly turning as you feel it again, you walk forward slowly, noticing a gap in the rocks ahead; as far as you can tell, the tremors are leading from there.
Nervously walking forward, you hesitate before looking into the cave; a large swarm of Heracross are fighting, some hand to hand, some clashing horns, while the others are jumping on the ground, sending Earthquakes rolling towards each other.
What are you going to do?

Leaving the waking creature, you flee into a random cave, finally entering into a vast room; turning curiously, you notice that it's strangly empty, though from the looks of it, that hasn't always been the case.
Next second, you hear a muffled roar from somewhere behind you; it could be the Tyranitar, or it could be the reason why this place is empty.
What are you going to do?

Wincing at the Shellder, you run past the helpless Feebas, trying to put enough distance between you and them so you can't hear what happens next.
After a couple of minutes, the Shellder begins to make soft wheezing sounds, looking at a spot in the water where a Ludicolo is dancing, enthusiastically splashing its audience, which consists of a Spheal and a Remoraid.
What are you going to do?

Hmmm! It seems like Shellder wants to get dropped off here. I'll ask it to make sure, anyway. If this is the place it wants to stay in, then I will gently lay him on the river bank and move on. If not, then we will continue.

Leaving the waking creature, you flee into a random cave, finally entering into a vast room; turning curiously, you notice that it's strangly empty, though from the looks of it, that hasn't always been the case.
Next second, you hear a muffled roar from somewhere behind you; it could be the Tyranitar, or it could be the reason why this place is empty.
What are you going to do?

Grinning nervously as you produce three pieces of food from the box, you hold it out for Nuka; he snarls, but seems to be unsure which easy food to go after. In the end, he dcides to go for both and lunges to attemtp to fix his teeth onto your hand...but you manage to recall him just in time.
Sighing, you drop the food back into the box and walk on.
In the next room, a Drowzee and a Meditite are sitting motionless on the floor; they aren't moving, but instinct says that they're doing something.
What are you going to do?

I believe I will sit down, leaning back against a wall of the room I'm in and watch to see what these two Pokemon are up to.

Glancing down at the egg you're carrying, you wince, the look back at the two Pokémon, trying to keep from droping the egg in your agitation.
I...Uhh.. It's not like that. See, I was trying to get my friend back, but he's in a Murkrow nest. I must have gotten the wrong ball when I tried to get him. Could you guys help me out? You could even become one of my friends and stay with me in here."
As you pull out two Pokéballs, the Houndour and Machop mutter to each other, before the Houndour turns and says that they'll try and help get your friend back, but they won't be joining a team just like that.
What are you going to do?

"Aiyah!" I exclaimed, "Okay, now Mr. Houndour, I need you to distract the Murkrow. Mr. Machop, I need you to run in a grab the POKEBALL. Make sure it's the pokeball and not an egg, please. The biggest mistake I made was grabbing an egg instead of a pokeball."

I led them to the place near the Murkrow's nest. I told them to put the plan into action...

Hastily apologising to the Geodude as you back off, he just stares blankly as you finish off shaking the sand from your shoes and hurry away.
When he's finally vanished into the heat haze, you slow down, because you've noticed a Swinub trying to dig a hole in the sand, sobbing to herself. It looks like the little ice type is melting slightly o_O
What looks like an Omastar's shell is also buried in the sand behind her.
What are you going to do?

Desert

Aaargh. Melting pigs. Um, well, I'll send out Azure (Vaporeon, F, Lv 8) and get her to use Rain Dance so the Swinub can be cooled down a little bit. Then I'll ask her to help the Swinub to dig the little hole. Or, alternatively, Swinub can walk alongside me until we find a cave or something where she can shelter from the sunlight. Anyway, whatever she decides to do, I'll continue on (and Azure will also be out of her pokéball either way too).

A quick glance round the surrounding area, and you notice it padding around a clump of grass a couple of metres off to your left. As you watch, the grass shakes, and the Bulbasaur jumps back, before glancing sheepishly back at you.

Groaning, you continue on anyway, watching as the river begins to narrow, and more rapids begin to appear. A Horsea and a Luvdisc are swimming around near the rapids start, watching a Politoed that's swimming along the rapids.

Hesitant in the sudden silence, you hear a patter of feet and a couple of Mightyena and a Cyndaquil come tumbling into the cave, from the direction you originally came in, all three lookinhg worried.
What are you going to do?

Five minutes on, nothing's changed and you're begining to get restless, when there's a flash and your Houndoom bursts out from his Master Ball and springs towards the other two.
Without moving a muscle, or opening their eyes, they immediately teleport, materialising someway behind the confused Houndoom.

A slight disturbance begins to spread through the Murkrow; they can sense something is wrong, but before they can react, Houndour pounces, seizes the ball and dashes back towards you....followed by some rather irritate crows.

Azure summons the rain clouds, dousing you, her, the Swinub and the surroundings in soothing rain. Approaching the Swinub as it pauses, looking thankful, you teel Azure to help the ice creature to dig the hole; nodding, she begins to scoop out pawfuls of sand, easily burying to the depth the Swinub is happy with.
Now that the Swinub is looking ok, you and Azure decide to press on, waved off by the happy Swinub.
One thing you didn't count for though- the Rain Dance summoned clouds that seemed to have covered most of the area o_O A Diglett pops up in alarm, staring at the sky, while an Aggron comes stomping through the sand, looking in alarm at the damp dunes.
What are you going to do?

Sneasel takes the offered Poké Ball, but doesn't activate it, watching as you fling the Ultra Ball at the retreating Octillery.
After absorbing the Pokémon inside, the ball clatters down and begins to shake violently, rolling round on the floor, before the light goes out.

After seeing what happened to the Octillery, the Sneasel pulls a face and drops the Poké Ball at your feet and steps back, frowning a little.

I'll lean down to the Sneasel and promise it that if it comes with me it will never have to be in that sort of danger ever again and I will keep it totally safe no matter what happens.
After it feels comfortable, I'll offer it the Pokeball again and see what it does.

"Why...are they...Chasing after us?" I asked the Houndour.

"Why don't you ask the egg?"

I looked down and noticed I still had the egg. I stopped to confront the Murkrow. I told them what happened from when I caught the Tyrogue. They didn't seem to be getting any happier, though.

I'll throw three pieces of food to my own Houndoom to try to feed him. But the moment he tries to attack the other Pokes again, I'll recall him. And if he attacks me again, I'll return him. If he wants more food, I'll keep throwing food at him(I have the whole 20/20 Box!) And if there are any foods left, I'll want to retrieve them. Not being wasteful. I'll apologise as well to the Psychics and tell them that my Houndoom is just a bit phychotic and hungry is all. If I manage to feed him enough, I'll wait and see what he and the Psychics do. If I can't and he's still hungry, I'll just have to go to the Koisk and buy another Box. XD

Gah. Well, I'll return Azure to her pokeball, and then send out Ignatius [Houndour, M, Level 10] and get him to use Sunny Day to get the weather back to normal again, and then hope that the Aggron won't look so alarmed! Then I'll return Ignatius and continue on.

Unable to keep a hostile tone out of your voice, you ask the Shelder if this is the place he was aiming for; he loks surprised, then lets go off you hand abruptly, and mutters a 'no'.
However, he doesn't clamp back onto your hand, but begins to sheepishly bounce after you as you continue on.
A splash ahead catches your eye; a Mantine is leaping gracefully from the water heading towards you.
What are you going to do?

Despite being wary of the two Pokémon, you walk over to the Rapidash , holding out a Poké Ball, talking to it to reassure it that you'd like to help.
The Beldum stops laughing at that, and both the it and the Spoink stand and stare quietly as the Rapidash immeidately reaches out to activate the ball.

Noticing the heavy silence, you turn to find the Beldum and Spoink still staring at you; the Spoink looks curious as to what happened, but the Beldum is shuddering aggresively.

Neither Mightyena wants to join your team initially, but what you take to be the strongest looks happy to battle.
As its companion and the Cyndaquil edge away to give some room to battle, the Pokémon barks at you, obviously waiting for you to choose your Pokémon.
What are you going to do?

Stuttering about the reason why you have the egg, the Murkrow don't seem to buy it, with a couple flying round to circle round you, cawing harshly.
The Houndour and Machop look pretty stressed, when the Machop mutters something, jumps up, snatches the egg from you and holds it out to the flock.
What you take to be the leader immediately darts in and seizes the egg, and dives back into the original cave, leaving behind the other Murkrow, who are still glaring at you.
What are you going to do?

Wild Eevee~
Watching the free for all rather interestedly, you try to figure out who is going to win; there's a rather large Heracross smashing its way through the middle, but a couple off to your right are also blasting constant Earthquake through the room, which keeps on disrupting the others battles.
Thankful to have Machop and Meditite around to keep you safe, your eye is suddenly caught by a flash of purple across the cave; only problem is, the mob closes up again, blocking your view of what it was.
What are you going to do?

Pulling three pieces of food from the box, you toss them into the path of your Pokémon, who falls of them, and devours them in an instant.
The Drowzee and Meditite stare solemnly at him as he finishes his meal, exchange a glance, look at you, then teleport again.
They materialise right behind him, each delivering a punch to the side of his body that sends him crunching into the ground.
Looks like these two know how to handle Dark types.

Switching your Vaporeon for your Houndour, he sends a beam of light shooting ino the air, that breaks through the storm clouds, rapidly drying the wet sand.
The Aggron looks even more surprised at this second change in weather and wanders off quickly, muttering to itself.
Recalling Ignatius, you walk off in the opposite direction, catching sight of a Magnemite trying with all its might to shock a Nincada thats scuttering through the sand, completely unaffected by the electricity.
