Do YOU care about Postcount+++ (anymore)?
Our forum has been around for over 24 years. 24 beautiful years. I'd like to make this clear. What does everyone think about Postcount in 2024?
I'd like to point out that Postcount doesn't rise in Misc. It hasn't been rising there ever since the administration tried to block the nasty spambots by making it similiar to Mt. Moon.
But does Postcount have to rise? With so few users around, it might even have the opposite effect. No Postcount would justify spamming because nobody simply cares anymore.

wow, now i have 11,243 posts. you would think that post count goes up by one, logically speaking, independent of the forum and the early 2000s egoic motives. i need to spam this topic to get all of the posts i should have had in misc (i understand mt. moon is a different kettle of fish)

Meh, I used to care about postcount in the old days when I made milestone posts, but since only 3 TPMers have more posts than me (Ash_300, Kevin, & Lady Vulpix/Gabi), and to be honest, I don't really care that much about the whole postcount thing anymore (I'm not expecting to overtake any of them there, but if it happens, I may acknowledge it, but I likely won't make much "noise" about it).

I like the post counts. I view them as a reminder of all our time here.
