As a new year encroaches, our Mega Tournament rages on! Fear not the onset of new beginnings, as this is the semi final match to what will be a forever game altering element in our battling careers! Oslo and Polkaroo stand defiantly, as BT and Rosalina go over a last minute strategy. Each have risen to prominence in this ASB league-each routing challengers with their own battling styles.

Rosalinda glides forth, fresh from her previous battle-proving that the women of her species were undoubtedly stronger than the men. But now she faced Polkaroo, a sizeable Amazon of a woman herself. As she watched, the mother patted her baby on its head and then created a immense statue of dirt and soil from around the arena. It was squished around until complete, and that's when the sheen that caught Rosalinda's eye became apparent. She clapped to try and catch Polka off guard-but that Protect lasted a bit longer than she approved. But she managed to create the sheen around herself that ensured some safety.

Polka took a deep set of breaths, already at a bit of a deficit from using up so much energy. As she regained her composure, there was a strong twinging sound growing in the back of her mind. It rose to a fever pitch, and she turned to look at a shining star colliding with her facsimilie! The blast was eruptive in its effect, creating a scattershot of debris as it eradicated her fascimilie. Looking at her work fall around her Polka turned toward the only one that could be its destroyer. She picked up the head of her Substitute and set it atop the remnants of the sculpture, before stamping her feet at Rosalina.

Standing 4 meters away, hands up in a graceful manner, stood the elegant encroacher, a smirk on her face. Energy trails evaporated as she lowered her arms. Polka grunted and dashed forth, stomping the ground with each step. In 5 steps, she gained enough speed to lunge up and whirl in the air-a sight for any foe. Ros raised her arms to block, but that Iron Tail exerted more force than she was expecting. Her block was broken and she fell to the ground, crashing hard under its force.

Her retreat ending at a fair enough distance, Polka slammed her tail into the ground. This action repeated itself three time before her tail rose with a massive sheen. This sheen streaked across the arena once more as Rosalinda picked her body up off the floor, glaring at that hideous representation of art. Polkaroo's approach nonwithstanding, Ros released a tumultuous blast of energy with ease, shattering that small remnant of a Substitute. Her gaze was forcefully averted back to the ground, as Polkaroo intersected her tail with her head.

Her insurance eradicated, Polka knew there could be no quarter given. She grabbed the downed Fairy and threw her backwards as if she was trash. In mid toss, the agile Psychic flipped and almost immediately released a Blast of considerable strength. Polka kicked her feet and threw herself backwards, using her increase in speed to maneuver and roll around the blast, which barely missed her. Her target was Rosalinda's floating form, which she connected with. Ros doubled over as she crumpled to the ground again.

Breathing heavy, Polka stepped back as she caught a glint of light from over here BT stood. It was that time, she supposed. Taking a mighty hop back, Polka stared as Ros, weary from repetitive strikes, stood and let her hands fall to her sides. Rays fo light began to emanate from her chest and her head, and soon she was bathed in its glow. It shimmered and then began to radiate and circulate in intensity, before shattering away in a kaleidoscope of color. Where once stood a battered Gardevoir now revealed a penance of destructive force, hell bent on breaking Polkaroo down into particles that would wish they could be classified as dust.

Polkaroo did not compliment the light show. She merely raised a similiar barrier to what was still guarding Ros, a secondary insurance policy.

Finally... this last one isn't strictly a sub, but just try to be cautious of Rosalinda evading your attacks through Quiver Dance or some other means. Be diligent, oh burly one!

Rosalinda, in her full final form, takes center stage, wafting over toward the inferior Kanga with pure malice in her eyes. As she approaches, Polkaroo stands guard, her tail attaining that sheen of silver once more. A secondary glint of light elects to envelop Rosalinda-but this one seems more sturdy than the last, which is already beginning to trail off. Polka tries to stop the oncoming fighter with a roundhouse Iron Tail, but her motion is stopped mid swing. Her tail was caught tightly in the grasp of said MegaGardevoir. There was obvious tension in the grasp, and she let the tail go once all momentum had been absorbed by her.

Pleased with her shielding, Rosalinda continued the direct taunting. No longer encroaching on Polkaroo, she merely relaxed both arms and closed her eyes. Polkaroo however, did not take kindly to being ignored, and raked her claws across that face. Deep ghastly lines appeared where she had connected with her claws, and Rosalinda immediately opened her eyes. She pierced Polka's gaze and held it, trying to see into her soul. Her gaze was cut short by a dwindling of protection around her.

Polka grinned as the stars left Rosalinda, and made sure to reconnect Ros with the iron side of her backside. The tail struck face, but Ros stood her ground unlike last time. She grabbed that tail, and held onto it with that vicelike grip. Polka aimed to let go, but Ros lifted that tail higher than Polka was comfortable with. Locking eyes with her enemy, Ros used her hand as a conduit to actually siphon the life out of her foe. Polka grunted, disapproving of being held in this awkward position, and managed to pull free once the health equilibric status had been achieved.

One would say that was a bit of a waste of a strategy, but hell, I'm not battling :/

Gaudy yet elegant, Rosalinda pushes the limits of Polkaroo's skill set by forcing a strange gas to emanate from the very ground upon which they walk. It does not germinate however, as Rosalinda experiences a slap upon her derriere. She whirls around to snag the culprit as they fled, but all she saw was empty pace. Pokaroo smirked, seeing as how she was the assailent-moving faster than even a Mega Gardevoir to pull that Fake out off.

Denied her Mystical terrain, Rosalinda opted for a more Futuristic shock. Polkaroo was still quite close and as such, she tried to back away to create space. Polkaroo however, closed in faster than she approved of once again. But as she jettisoned backwards, Ros was able to see a future in which Polka would experience a massive explosion that would send her flying through the air and crash land near a lake. She smiled at this future, just as everything went dark for her. The sphere removed her vision for a few moments, and she was in excruciating pain.

This would not be taken lightly.

Polka gnashed and prepared herself to sing. She already has the Psychic's attention, and she was sure to receive a piece of her mind. Literally. The abberation struck Polkaroo right in the chest, and caused her to stumble backwards. Ros's eyes shone with a deep hatred fro the Kanga, forcing herself to the ground. Even though she was floored, Kanga looked over to the side in order to see Rosalinda about to stand over her. All she could do in this position was sing.

And sing she did, sing did she the song of her herd, of the trials of being a Kangaskhan. It was a strong one-so strong that even Roslinda's psychic resolved lessened, and her guard began to fall to subversive levels. Her hand fell to her side, and she floated there, silent to the world.

A very dangerous place to be, even for a Mega.

Feeling the last fumes of energy well within her, Polkaroo makes a last ditch effort to try and end her boosted foe. As the rival slumbered, Polka forcefully flung a diabolical sphere of ghastly energy at her core. The blast struck, and left its noticeable mark upon her frame, but there she willfully slept, still well into this match.

Spent, Polkaroo fell back to rest on her laurels. She patted her baby, whom looked concerned for its mothers' safety. She reassured it that everything would be alright, but her glance back up at Rosalinda stated otherwise. As long as the Megardevoir slept, there might be a chance.

No movement. Polka felt truly fortunate about the way this match turned out. Even as the wind picked up a bit and blew Mega's lapels around a bit.

Those winds from before? Yeah they picked up a whole heck of alot more now, and then the enigmatic tear in the sky opened, raining down a singularity that crushed Polka's hopes at remaining has healthy as she could for the duration of this match. (-15H). As she lied on her back, the ebbing of her own defensive measure left her. Rosalinda would also lost the membranic safety of her own Reflect.

Rosalinda....still slumbered. As such, Oslo felt this was the safest time to unleash the beast. Raising his own Mega Bracelet-the Key Stone reacting with the Jewel kept safe by baby kanga-a glittering metamorphosis transpired that engulfed the pair and released them, momentarily. The most drastic change to Polka's appearance was that junior was now much larger, and standing beside her mother in eagerness to battle.

Though, there was not much to battle...since Ros was asleep for it all...Oh wait. No. She's moving. Slowly. With a certain poise that can only mean one thing.
Thunderbolt! A raging surge of electricity shot across and slammed directly into Polkaroo. She mustered the strength to break free of its spastic effects, but it looked to be too much for her.

Following that Thunderbolt-was an awakening that both Kanga's did not wish to see. Rosalinda opened her eyes and shook her head, confused. There were now two where one should have stood! Unsure about why the odds were now not in her favor, Rosalinda raised both arms in front of her, and readied a Psychic for expulsion.

The duo dashed, each going a separate direction to confuse Ros. She looked left and right, and then realized that they both were coming in for a Iron Tail. The crux of their clash was her head, and it was from there that she released her Psychic bevy to level the playing field. Wind expelled the duo away from each other, as the metallic clang of leadened force hampered Ros's consciousness. Sher fell to the ground in a heap.

Both Khan's seemed to be powerless, as they crashed on the ground around Ros.

Hrm.

This is not good.

They're both out at the same time. I'm going to have to review the videotape of this intense battle. Alright let's see here. Right when MegaPolkaroo struck, her Iron Tail struck first, before the youngster. The Psychic was emitted, and then the baby's strike came in to finish the job. If I only tabulate Polka's strike...

that would have been enough to take Ros out...barely. Her Psychic release was in direct retaliation to that, and that was enough to batter Kanga out the match, so the match goes to Mega Kangaskhan!

**Mega Kanga makes for a strange case where two actual physical beings strike the opponent. The die rolled put Kanga going first, but even still, I didn't think until I was typing that out about how fast the baby is. Literally, if you had not done Iron Tail+Iron Tail, you would have lost, Oslo. It was that close.
