Boom, Right flank. You're the sniper. If he tries to lob a pokeball, shoot it out of the air with a flamethrower. If you can get a clear shot at Houndoom, use as many rockslides as you possibly can.

Round One Hundred Seventeen

You take the bucket and the brush and start moving around, pushing piles of dirt around aimlessly as you try to spy any sign of a Murkrow or Honchkrow. The various acts look at you differently, some smiling and saying curt but friendly hellos, others nodding to acknowledge your presence. Other however grunt or turn their noses up at you, and a few even move away when you approach them, as though you smell bad or they just don't want to be near you. A small group of Snubulls wearing jet packs and roller skates stares at you whilst whispering to themselves. You sweep a pile of sand nearby and strain to listen in.

"I thought they hired a Throh as the new Janitor"

"You can't rely on Fighting types to do menial labour."

"But a human? And a pokemon trainer at that? We should complain!"

"Complain? Are you insane?! Don't you know what happened to the last 'mon that complained? They went through the black doors and never came back out again.

"Hey is that human eavesdropping on us...?

You panic at the last comment and start brushing more rapidly, but still hear the Snubulls getting closer.

"Roll call for the Skydancing Snubulls!" A high pitched voice calls out "You're on in five! Don't keep the big man waiting!"

The Snubulls hesitate then walk off grumbling. You wait until they were all gone and turn only to find yourself looking down at a small green pokemon covered in lots of flowers.



"I hope those guys didn't upset you." she said. Her voice was high pitched just like the roll caller. "They think they're the stars of the show, so they don't like anyone that much."

"No they didn't. And uh, thanks."

"No problem. You're new here I see that." she beckons you to come closer, and you have to get right down on your knees to listen as she whispers into your ear "Let me give you a bit of advice. Get out of here, whilst your still your own man. Don't let the Krow's get a hold over you, or you'll always be in their debt."

You stare at her for a second, and she looks deadly serious. The sound of footsteps getting nearer spooks her and she squickly smacks you in the face. Not hard, but enough to shock you.

"Look at this floor!" she shrieks. The footsteps stop and a shadow looms over you, but you can't see who or what it is. "Look at it! How am I meant to dance properly with all this dust being kicked up? You need to earn your keep boy, get back to work!"

- Now what?

THE BIG BOSS
Fight With Seymour - Final Fantasy X [Black Mages]

The boss looks perplexed that you would even bother minding his business, but he keeps his stoneface in check as he orders his strange houndoom to turn its gaze to the new attackers. Kyurem is all but exhausted. Raff gets between the legendary pokémon and its adversary, while Boom keeps his eyes peeled for any stray poké balls. Buzzer is the only one in an attacking position, charging at the houndoom with a series of dragon claws! Houndoom just cackles -- they don't seem to be as effective against him.

Houndoom bites back with a powerful sludge bomb! The glob of venomous liquid slaps against Buzzer's frame, sending him to the floor quite easily. Houndoom howls in amusement before blasting Buzzer with an even more powerful solar beam! Oh geez!

The awful green muk begins the battle with a sweeping flamethrower that roasts your two steelmon. Fortunately, Kratos doesn't seem to mind it as much as Auron. Auron retaliates by focusing on Muk, holding the stinkpile down with a psychic grip long enough for Kratos to lull him to sleep with a soothing hypnosis. It works!

As you continue to sweep the floors behind the tent of an unused tent for what seems like an eternity, several pokémon scream and run past you. What's the big idea!?

(IIRC - When attacking a 'boss' level, they get extra moves if you attack with more than one pokemon. I'm not sure if having mine on defensive would flag those extra attacks or not. )

Buzzer slumps to the ground and closes his eyes, resting during the intense battle. You recall the antlion to his poké ball to keep him out of harm's way while Boom steps up to the plate, taking over for his ally. Raff remains stoic in the defensive position as Boom releases a volley of rocks at Houndoom with his fist launchers. Houndoom turns his gaze away from Kyurem and Raff long enough to retaliate against Boom with a nasty crunch! Boom flings the dog away and pumps his launchers directly into the ground below, summoning a devastating quake that ruffles not only Houndoom, but the two pokémon you're trying to protect as well! Whoops.


The mysterious figure pulls out a purple poké ball. Wait, purple!? Since when did they come in those colors? He swiftly tosses the ball right at Kyurem, but Raff knocks it away with an even swifter razor leaf! Good job, Raff! Except the gentleman catches the ball and pulls out another one just like it. Can you knock them both away?

The two pokémon switched roles because Pichu is a child, you monster. Pichu cheers on the shapeshifting Esquire, only to watch in horror as Mecha-tar roasts it with another nasty flamethrower. At least there's rain, aye?
