I'll give this a shot -- put me down for a spin. I'm gonna say 22-22-7 just because.
Welcome to the Casino. In this thread, a bunch of games will be offered, for the chance for you guys to win awesome prizes!!!
Prices:
Slot Machines: 1 points.
Dice Run: 5 points
Pokemon Hi-Lo: 1 point
Slot Machines
To play in the slot machines, you will need to pay 1 point. Then, you get to spin the wheel. The good news is, you can rig things in your favour. You can select a spot on each wheel, where it will stop. There is a 20% chance that it will land on the spot you specify, a 20% chance that it will land one spot previous, a 20% chance that it will land two spots previous, a 20% chance it will land one spot after, and a 20% chance it will land two spots after. The first two wheels are the same, with the layout being as follows:
The last wheel is set out as:
So, you say you wanna play, and you want to get 15 - 16 - 15. This means that the first wheel will give you either 13, 14, 15, 16 or 17. (Magnemite, Magnemite, Berry, Magnemite or Berry). Wheel #2 will give you 14, 15, 16, 17 or 18. (Magnemite, Berry, Magnemite, Berry, Shellder) and wheel #3 will give you 13, 14, 15, 16 or 17 (Pikachu, Magnemite, Magnemite, Magnemite, Shellder).
Once you've seen what you roll, the prize is paid out as follows:
Dice Run
This game will cost you 5 points. You will be presented with 9 cards, numbered 3 through 11. After you remove 2 of them, a dealer will roll 5 pairs of dice, getting 5 numbers ranging from 2 to 12. Then, you look at the table below. If you kept the prerequisite numbers, and those numbers showed up on the dice, you are eligible to win that prize. You can choose one prize that you are eligible for.
So, if you roll 3,4,5,6,7, you walk away with 15 casino credits (because 3,4,5 pays the best).
Pokemon Hi-lo
To play, you will need to pay 1 point. A type will be given (Normal, Flying, Bug, Rock, ...). The next person to play this game will guess Super-effective, Normal or Resists. Then, the next time a Casino dealer is online, he will post a new type. If an attack from the first type attacks the new type in the way the player says, he wins. If the player said Super-effective or Resists, he gets 2 casino credits. If he guesses normal, he gets 1 casino credit. So, why would you guess Normal? If there are 10 people who guess correct in a row, each person in that chain gets a bonus casino credit. If you guess correctly multiple times in the series of 10, you get a matching number of credits. Immunity will count as resistant.
So, some examples: The current type is Grass. I guess Super-effective. The next type is Water, I win 2 casino credits (since Grass is SE against water).
Then, Blade guesses Normal, and the next type is Electric. Blade wins 1 casino credit (since water deals normal damage to electric).
Then Dogfish guesses Resistant, and the next type is Ground. Dogfish wins 2 casino credits (since Electric deals no damage to ground, and Immunity = Resistance for the purposes of this).
Then DL guesses Super-effective, and the next type is Flying. DL wins no casino credit, because Ground is not super-effective against flying.
Using Credits
Over time this list will change, but you can use the credits to buy MARVELOUS PRIZES!
For the low price of 1 credit, you can buy yourself a mystery! Go to the incubation station and get yourself an egg for 1 casino credit.
For the still-low price of 2 credits, you can buy yourself a pokeball and go on a magical adventure in the safari zone.
Want something with a bit more kick? Go to the safari zone with a greatball for 3 casino credits!
Want something more specific? How about a bulbasaur, squirtle or charmander for 10 casino credits!
Finally, we have casino-exclusive SHARDS available! What do these shards do? Well, if you have 3 shards, you can combine them to make a token. And tokens can be exchanged for any unevolved pokemon, a large stone, or they can be used to change the ability of a pokemon to any other ability that pokemon could have! How much does a shard cost, you ask? 5 casino credits!

New game!!!! (Main post updated accordingly)
Remember, you can only get 1 prize. So, for example, if you keep and roll 3, 4 and 5, you will need to choose between a large stone, a small stone, or a token.
Also, special promotion!!!
The first person to win 300 points from the Slots OR win a token from Dice Run will earn the right to name the thread. The mods will have the right to refuse any name, but otherwise, the name of this thread will be changed to the name you provide.

Where are these game ideas coming from? Just curious, but this is some clever stuff.
The initial idea (slots for the slots, Grandia III for Dice Run) are from whatever inspiration strikes me at the time. Modifications are always my own work. For Grandia III, I had to get someone to tell me of the original game, but DL suggested I do something with it.

Blackjack I can do. Roulette will take a bit. Got some ideas, but gimme time.
Edit: Blackjack will take a bit more time to set up the simulations for, so I can't give DL stats straight away. So... gimme the weekend, at the very least. I also wanna redo the wheels for slots. But yeah. It's on my evergrowing to-do list.

Well, as I've said, if people want games, tell me and I'll do my best to make it work. Additionally, if a lot of people don't like the current games, tell me what's wrong with them and I'll fix them.

I'm finding Dice Run hard to understand right now.
I'd like to see a varient of Hi-Lo here (Pokedex numbers ?_?). I'd probably play that a few times.
Back bitches
What's Hi-Lo?
DF -Dice run is pretty awesome. I'd play, but there's no price set for Dice Run
But, IIRC, its like this. You have 9 cards, each with a number from 3/11..as so
3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11
Now..You get to remove 2 of them. I dun like 4 and I dun like 10
3 5 6 7 8 9 11
Dealer now rolls 5 dice.
They come up to be ... 5 3 8 11 4
So you look at the cards you kept, and then look at the combinations that you can win stuff, and see if the Dice rolls matches up with the cards you kept. In this example...
3...5..8..11 are what matches up for me.
Rolling a 3 or an 11 gets me 2 eggs.
Rolling 5 gets me 1 egg..
And that's all I can get. So I'll be choosing 2 eggs, since I can only get 1 prize
And that's it

It costs 5 points. I saw that little problem and added it at the beginning of the first paragraph. The rest of your description is right.
Also, if you were to roll a 5, 6 and 7, you could opt for a small stone.
I know hi-lo. I've only seen it in the form of a drinking game though. (You need to get a sequence of 8 cards, if you guess wrong, you take a number of drinks matching the rank of the card and start again. There's other little bits to it, but that's the overall jist.) Didn't know it by name though, so thanks for the explanation. DL should get stats for that today.

Oooooh, that game! I think one of those old Pokemon Tamagatchi things had that game built in.
OK. Nice, cheap new game.
If the player said Super-effective or Resists, he gets 2 points (actual profit). If he guesses normal, he gets 1 point. So, why would you guess Normal? If there are 10 people who guess correct in a row, each person in that chain gets a bonus point. If you guess correctly multiple times in the series of 10, you get a matching number of points. Immunity will count as resistant.

Then Dogfish guesses Resistant, and the next type is Ground. Dogfish wins 2 points (since Electric deals no damage to ground, and Immunity = Resistance for the purposes of this).
Then DL guesses Super-effective, and the next type is Flying. DL wins no points, because Ground is not super-effective against flying.

No, you get to stay retarded. Like Charles and KOT.
All proceeds go to big business owners and bribes to keep this place out of legal trouble. You know, like a real casino!
Pokemon Hi-Lo: Current type is Steel
Current run: 1 person: Mikachu Yukikatsu.
Mikachu gets his point back, and crosses his finger hoping for a run of 10 .
There are 27 points built up. I'd rather keep them around for when a payout occurs. If we get in excess of 300 points built up, then I'll have to look for stuff to send it to.

*NEWBIE ALERT*
Soo, I was thinking about Rapidash races.
Theres four Rapidash, people bet points ranging from 1 to 3 on a horse, and if they win, BAM, instant points.
Example:
Horse 1: 3 points
Horse 2: 1 point
Horse 3: 2 points
Horse 4: 0 points
I bet 3 on Horse 1, it wins, I get my points AND the other points, totaling 6 points I walk away with.
Naturally, this is a rough draft, BUT I thought this sounded pretty good, ableit a few kinks.
Ahhh, Rapidash Races. I once managed to win 7 of those horse race thingies of in a row ^_^. And it's a very good suggestion for a casino.
Anyway, I'm gonna develop it if that's OK, since at this point you could bet on all 4, and other crazy things (If not, tell me):
Players bet 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 points on 1 Rapidash. The higher the bet, the higher the payout.
Each horse has a different chance to win.
Rapidash A wins 50% of the time, and for every 2 points paid, you get 3 back. A 2 point bet is 3 point return, a 4 point bet is 6 point return, etc. (After 10 races with 1 person placing 2 points per bet, casino gains 20 points, and pays out an average of 15 points)
---
Rapidash B wins 30% of the time, and for every 2 points paid, you double your money. (After 10 races at 2 points per bet by one person, 20 is paid in and an average of 12 points would be paid out)
---
Rapidash C wins 19% of the time, and for every 2 points paid, you get triple your money, but then take 1. If x is the bet and y is the payout, the formula is y = 3x -1 (2 point bets give 5, 4 point bets give 11, 6 point bet pays 17, 8 point bet pays 23, 10 point bet pays 29)
On average, after 10 races for 1 person with a 2 point bet, 20 points are taken in and approximately 10 points are paid out in return (Average). After 10 for 1 person with a 4 point bet, 40 points are taken in and 22 are paid out on average.
---
Rapidash D wins just 1% of the time. A win will earn you a flat 150 Points.
(Average gain over 100 races is 50)
As you can see, the casino clearly wins, but it's possibble to fine tune your bets. As it should be.
~~~
Gonna add to that point thing when I get the time. Perhaps I should be able to make 1 payment into a "casino bank", which is kept track of in this thread, so I don't have to keep going to the bank to play. And, money could be swapped easily between the 2, except limiting the number of times.
Back bitches
Precisely what I was working the kinks out of, DF.
I realized the bank-to-casino linkage would be too much after a while, and I'm trying to see which would be better, having each player deposit a certain numbers of their points here into a pseudo-Bank so they can bourse that as they like, or have a check system where after you use a certain amount of points up, you hafta put up one transaction with all your receipts (a delayed version of what we have now going on.)
i kinda like the pseudo bank idea
I can keep track of a seperate bank, if that idea works out.
For the races... I can do it, but I'm looking for something else at the moment. I want a game where the random number generator isn't used. I've got two ideas at the moment, but they are mutually exclusive. Conceptually, they are very similar, so running both would be bad.
1) Boards scavenger hunt. For this, I'll need approval from the mods, as well as the help of one of them. Various posts will be editted to contain a password. They will be marked with "Casino password: ". Together, they form a phrase. The first player to figure out the phrase wins the prize. To play, you pay up 1 point, the winner receives all the points. Passwords will be put in old battles, early water-cooler thread posts, and the like, so as not to interfere with anything. A mod will be in charge of placing these passwords around the place, and that mod will be asked not to give away any details. Obviously that mod will not be allowed to play. As an example, the phrase might be "So, I heard you like mudkips." In which case, 6 posts will be editted, adding in the lines:
"Casino password: So,"
"Casino password: I"
"Casino password: heard"
"Casino password: you"
"Casino password: like"
"Casino password: mudkips."
2) Virtual scavenger hunt:
Each player who wants to play pays a point, and will receive an object. That player then "hides" the object with a password. From there, the game is a series of rounds. In each round, each player gives the password for the object they wish to find this round. If they successfully find it, they remain in the game, failure to do so will remove you from the game. Additionally, they send in an object they wish to have removed from the game. The object with the most votes will be removed from all future rounds: presenting that password will remove you from the game. Passwords must be presented with their corresponding objects (since objects are unique, but I can't guarantee that for passwords). Additionally, you can change the password of an object you find in a given round. The winner receives all the points that were put into the game.
Board scavenger hunt is simpler, while virtual scavenger hunt is entirely in the players hands. Dunno how much that matters to you guys. Also, virtual is more likely to be approved, but the board scavenger hunt requires a mod editting old posts, which means work for them. Dunno if they are up for that.
