Data begins charging up another powerful electric attack, but brings it to a halt when it discovers that Cootie's about to fire off a thunder wave. Changing tactics, Data lies in wait as the thunder wave is fired. It sails across the battlefield before connecting and then being snapped back to Cootie, slamming against her safeguard. It caused no harm to either pokémon [ -5PP Cootie / -10PP Data ].

Data then recharges the first thunder, frying the foe easily with it [ -18HP Cootie / -10PP Data ] as Cootie drains some life away with a fist [ -9HP Data / +4HP, -5PP Cootie ].

Data fires off one last thunder as Cootie concentrates her attack prowess in her fists. But as soon as the electricity strikes her [ -9HP Cootie / -10PP Data ], she loses her focus and faints...

Alright, Bulk Up - Aura Sphere - Force Palm

Counter anything Physical, and use Agility to Dodge any long ranged attacks. Lets do this

Cootie is replaced by Lina, Darth's shiny lucaria. As Data recharges its batteries, Lina strengthens her resolve to take it down [ -5PP, +10% Atk, +10% Def Lina / +10PP Data ].

Data continues to recharge itself as Lina hurls a wobbly ball of pure fighting energy right into its side [ -14HP, +10PP Data / -6PP Lina ]. It continues to remain motionless while Lina slams her palms forward [ -10HP Data / -3PP Lina ]. The porygon evolution then responds with a loud chirp before spitting out another USB cord from its beak. The cord wraps itself around Lina as her health slowly seeps into Data's body [ -26HP Lina / +26HP, -26PP Data ]. Doing so exhausts all of Data's batteries, and it must recharge...

Drained of its battery life, Data must recharge. While this is happening, Lina keeps her cool and focuses. With her mind at ease, she is free to strike! Three times into Data's frame [ -23HP + -23HP + -23HP, +30PP Data / -30PP Lina ].

I should have taken 3 full hits due to Gym Battle = No Damage caps, unless you're simply using a higher cap instead.

Lina gets ready to finish of Data, but before she can even prepare her signature technique, she spots a tether shooting out at her. Familiar with the action, she casts a protective spell over herself, keeping her safe [ -5PP Data / -7PP Lina ]. It happens again, and Lina almost misses the catch [ -5PP Data / -9PP Lina ]

Data takes a moment to recharge its batteries once more, but is planted with a final aura sphere that sends it off [ -5HP Data / -5PP Lina ].

Alright, Lina! Use Psychic on the erupted.. stuff, and send it back! Then use Extremespeed, to dodge both projectile fire attacks, and put on dmaage at the same time!

Convectank, the last of Dogfish's pokémon for this match, is released, and he immediately begins his tenure by erupting violently -- sending chunks of rock and magma right over to Lina. Lina, however, holds them still with telekinesis and throws them back. She can't hold them all, however, as some of the debris splashes onto her and Tank [ -7HP, -7PP Lina / -3HP, -6PP Convectank ].

Tank, annoyed that his first attack of the match was discarded so easily, fires off a powerful blast of flames that slowly crawls along the battlefield [ -8PP Convectank ]. Lina nimbly darts away from them before tackling the fiery inferno with a swift attack [ -9HP Convectank / -7PP Lina ].

Infuriated this time, Tank fires off a flamethrower this time, and succeeds in tagging the lucaria before she can outspeed it [ -14HP Lina / -5PP Convectank ]. Lina brushes off the flames as best she can before giving Tank another high-speed tackle [ -9HP Convectank / -6PP Lina ].

Lina, giving about as much energy as she had into the battle, slumps down to regain some energy while Convectank erupts in a sea of flames three times in rapid succession [ -18HP + -18HP + -17HP, +30PP Lina / -27PP Convectank ]. Lina collapses, defeated...

Wow, that was an explosive ending.
