I'm also still pissed at them mangling a perfectly good pun by a Fisher on Route 12..."I'd Rather Be Fishing" was a popular phrase some time ago, the kind of thing that'd show up on coffee mugs or bumper stickers. So NOA had a laugh by making a Fisher say "I'd rather be working!" And then in Fire/Leaf they blew it all to hell by having him say "Don't get me wrong, I love fishing. But it'd also be good if I had more work."

Then, too, looking back at Gen 1 it's surprising how many of the trainer sprites were equipped with whips...the Rockets had them, Sabrina had one, the Cooltrainers had them...

To be perfectly fair, at least one Gym in each new Generation has nothing but women strong trainers, including the Gym Leader.

Gen 1.: Erika's Gym, Gen 2.: Whitney's Gym, Gen. 3: Wallace/Juan (the only exception), Gen. 4: Gardenia's Gym.

Wonder who's Gym will have lot's of girls Gym apprentices in Gen. 5...
