You regain your footing and look to see you ran right into an open grave. Creepy. Grumpus and Nutri look down at you and then back away, You look behind you, to see you fell on a Dusclops!

The Absol's howl is closer, but then Nutri falls in the hole, and Dusclops is getting irritated. Grumpus snarls and jumps over the open grave to confront the Nuzleaf that kicked her.

Battle time! You quickly delegate and try to get out the whole, as Nutri spins, letting off a cavalcade of spores in the grave. Dusclops gets in a Shadow Punch to Nutri, but Grumpus is already back in and scoops Nutri out. The Nuzleaf is standing there, struck dumb by Grumpus speedy hit, and you three are off after that Absol.

After a good run, you catch sight of it! Its heading toward a pair of dead willow trees. Oddlty enough, a Rotom floats by.

This place really was Tranquil. No chaos, no danger, it was way too peaceful for your motives. You keep moving, Big show and Booster dragging behind you as they play with all sorts of Pokemon that pop out the sands and greet them. Woopers populate this more muddy area, and you spot a signpost in the ground.

You let your Pokemon play -whoa there's a Quagsire with them now too- and go to heft up the sign. It feels funny, and its wider at one end. The wood pieces aren't really arrow shaped....and then you hear a nasty hiss.

Two large red eyes glare at you, and you immediately realize your mistake. You drop the tail, and it slithers away, behind its owner-a groggy but upset Flygon. You take a few timid steps to the side-spying the real signpost and that it points back to the Mountain to your Northwest, Swamp to the Southeast and further East there are Woods.

Crap. Time to move. Grumpus gets a nice aura of chill about him-fits this place real well, and focuses it skyward in a cone. Its a nice Blizzard and Honchkrow does not see its approach. It slams into the pair and Honchkrow immediately dives to evade it.

Nutri hears the order and shakes as best she can, leaves tossing powder in the avian's face. Honch coughs and drops the flower. However, that Absol snags her from a hard hit and stops, glaring at Grumpus. Grumpus finishes his Blizzard and runs over to try and free his partner, but the Absol splits into 4 clones and as a pack run off to the east now.

In the midst of this battle, you notice a Drifblim flying along.

It takes a while, but soon you see the treeline from this road But before you reach them, you notice a side path that has a signpost. You reach it, and it points out the Woods to your north, and a Pond to the east.

From here you spot a Swellow chasing a Mothim in the woods.

Nutrigrow thinks her trainer is delirious, as she's being carried off in the Mouth of this Absol. Grumpus however, chase afterwards and manages to gain enough ground to successfully tag Absol with a Swift. The canine stops and Nutrigrow does a sit up, in order to have her tiny hands strike the muzzle of the beast. Absol looks sodwn at its prey and puts her down finally.

You approach, and its mouth starts to tinge with fire....Man this guy was violent. A pair of Gastly watch this turn of events and move in closer, as does a...weird purple rock?

Firing another flamethrower Riff-Raff hits the Probopass who is knocked back into a nearby cave wall. It finally gets up and slams its body into Riff-Raff throwing him back as well. Getting back to his feet Riff-Raff opens his mouth and releases another load of flames which wash over the Probopass's body. Thinking that it is about time to finish this up you throw your great ball at the Probopass.

It is engulfed by the red light and the ball drops to the ground.

A Shellder is startled by you guys and dives in the water. As you sit a Furret jumps on the stool for a moment and stand up on its hind legs to look at you. Bold Furret.

Nutri takes point, fixing her luau attire. Stinky doggie gonna get it. She divides into clones and glares at the wolfish animal. It howls and spits the fire, but the clone vanishes. Nutri takes the opening and dashes in, uppercutting its belleh.

Absol grunts in pain, but Grumpus shows no remorse for his fellow dark type. Instead, he moves over to spot the pup-Whoa it jumped 2 feet over here. That IS weird. Grabbing a twig, Grumpus dashes over and skids to a stop. The Purple rock wiggles, and Grumpus thwackitythwacks it twice.

It wriggles and jumps closer, WTF IS THIS THING! One eye opens and Grumps immediately jumps back. Rocks don't have eyes.

But Pupitars do.

Meanwhile Nutrigrow avoids being slashed by the pup, but she's down to one clone, No matter. A maelstrom of dead (but sharp) leave erupts from Absol's underside and envelop him in a storm of shrubbery. When it ends, the dog is dazed, and Nutri is quite tired.

You recall Shadow and Surge leaving Snapjaw to take this monstrosity down. She starts off with a bone chilling blizzard which rocks his entire body sending a chill down his spine. The Rhyperior turns around and gives Snapjaw an evil look and starts rushing towards her. However this rampage is stopped by Snapjaw releasing a giant wave of water slams into him knocking him back. He starts charging again and this time gets his mark as he hits Snapjaw flinging her back. She picks herself up and dusts herself down and fires another blast of water at the tank.

Hrm, iz quiet here.

This is nice. You take in the air, and then fetch a rod. Sitting back down (the FURRET is gone), you cast your line and take a load off. Big show and Booster quietly mill around the area, making sure not to disturb the water.

Dun take long before you get a bite, and you reel it in. Hardly any struggle, but you get a Remoraid.

Booster keeps biting at Yanma overhead, and Big Show seems to be struggling with a reed in the growth near pondside.

You start heading towards the north and as you walk along the makeshift trails which cross the woods. Yet the further you get to the north the more destruction you begin to see around you, as if a massive wind has blown through taking out everything in sight. The trail of destruction seems to end up ahead though, maybe the source of the chaos is there.
