Hmmmmm, my Lady Frostbite (Female Froslass with Snow Cloak) would like a battle.
Let's start with Hail, then 2 blizzards. (This is my 4th battle excluding gym battle).
I think my scyther's getting rather unhappy that its getting left outta the action, so here's a challenge to anyone who wants to take it up! *Fills up my final battle spot*
She's a female scyther with the technician ability. Toxic, pain split and destiny bond are banned. Damage cap of 40. DQ limit: 72 hours.
Arena is Illex forest. Large trees are abundant.
Since I sent out first, you attack first, I attack second, so on.
Thats about it, so invitations are extended to everyone!

Good lord, a ghost/ice. Baaad.
Alright scyther, start off with a light screen. Swords Dance your way to cover behind a tree for the first blizzard. Swords Dance again for the second blizzard, behind another tree if the poor plant has been decimated.
Bump, anyone up for reffing this? Thanks!
Thanks so much Razor!
ROUND ONE
Before this battle starts, two trainers meet on either side of Ilex Forest. One has come south from Goldenrod; having spent the day watching movies on the big screen, eating fancy foods from across the globe and listening to dodgy radio stations; the other has come north from Azalea Town; having spent the day learning the history of pokeballs, chopping wood and feeding Slowpoke. Which is which doesn't matter, but they have come here for a pokemon battle. One sends out a female Scyther, who has been training to up her weaker attacks with the Technician ability. The other sends out a female Froslass called Lady Frostbite, who can become invisible in a hailstorm with the Snow Cloak ability. The two face each other, and the battle begins.
Lady Frostbite raises her arms and sings a cold and haunting song. The air begins to chill and from between the trees of Ilex forest, snow begins to fall and hail starts to scrape itself across the surface of anything it touches, including Scyther. The bug type watches as her foe starts to fade into the falling ice, and becomes slightly harder to see. Not worrying about attacking quite yet, she focuses and draws a square shape infront of her with her scythes. A shimmering wall of golden light forms in front of her, sticking out in the forest like a sore thumb, but the snow and hail that hits it just seems to melt away into nothing. Unfortunately, it's only on one side and doesn't prove much protection against the hail.

Lady Frostbite HP(-0) PP(-6) ~ Evs(+1)
Scyther quickly glances around, looking for a tree big enough to provide some cover. He spots one nearby with a wide trunk and tall enough to provide cover. Leaving the protective Light Screen behind, he begins to spin on the spot, faster and faster increasing his own strength at the same time. Lady Frostbite moves her arms in flowing motions, and the winds pick up, bringing a powerful blizzard down from behind her. The high speed peices of snow and ice pass her by and head straight for Scyther, but the speed he's spinning at knocks it all away, leaving Forslass a might annoyed. Scyther uses the spin to move, and like a homage to the Tazmanian Devil, he disappears behind the body of the tree.
Scyther HP(-0) PP(-8) ~ Atk(+2) ~ HP(-2) struck by Hail
Lady Frostbite HP(-0) PP(-6)
Again, Scyther begins to spin. Safe behind the big tree he does so without regard for what his opponent might be doing, but Lady Frostbite isn't going to just sit in one spot whilst her opponent hides from her. She fades in and out of the hail and moves between the trees until she has a better angle of attack. Though she can't see Scyther perfectly, she unleashes another blizzard. Chunks of ice and snow billow out of the trees and into Scyther. With his Swords Dance coming to an end, he stops spinning only to be buffeted by the end of the attack, taking less damage than a full attack would, but still getting hurt by it. Lady Frostbite smiles as she sees her foe struggle, but Scyther is pumped up and ready to do some massive damage now.

ROUND TWO
Scyther looks up at the sky, between the canopy of tree tops and through the falling hail, and wishes it was hotter. Like fire rising up away from his body, particles of heat energy rise up from his body and melt upwards into the sky, taking out snowflakes and ice lumps as they go. Lady Frostbite watches with some concern as the falling Hail begins to dissipate and lessens significantly very quickly. Scyther growls when she realises that the weather hasn't changed how she wanted it. She quickly looks at her foe and narrows her eyes. Froslass smirks and says something short and sweet, with a sultry smile that causes Scyther's eyes to widen and for her to hurl a string of abuse back, made worse due to the hail still cutting across her body.

Growing anger sends Scyther rushing at her foe. Her blades begin to glittery before the white of them fades to a glittering black. She slices through Froslass' ghostly body swiftly and savagely, causing the ghost to howl in pain, as her body is torn in half by the dark energy. Scyther takes a step back, and a sound of rushing... something begins in the distance. It gets closer and louder as Lady Frostbite grins. She moves her arms quickly and suddenly the noise is right on top of them. Snow and ice appears from all around between the trees and piles in, moving around the ghost perfectly but piling on top of Scyther without pause, leaving the bug type buried in the heavy snow.
Scyther HP(-14) PP(-4) ~ HP(-2) struck by Hail
Lady Frostbite HP(-13) PP(-5)
Completely buried, Scyther tries to get out by slashing her way out. For the life of her she can't use the same attack she used before, and in trying to force it, she exerts more energy than she would have normally, whilst only managing to loosen the snow around her somewhat. Lady Frostbite giggles, which enrages her foe even more. Noticing the hail is letting up and coming to an end a lot sooner than it was meant to, she creates a small orb of white energy in her hands. As hail falls around it, the orb brightens before doubling in size and taking on a silver icy appearance. She throws the ball at Scyther, where it explodes on contact with the partial flying type, sending freezing cold energy all around the pokemon. The falling hail comes to an end, and Lady Frostbite's partial transparency and increased evasion vanishes with it.

I told you I´d be on intermitently, still not fully back ^_^
Use Psychic to heap the snow as much on Scyther as possible, then Weather Ball, then Shadow Ball.
Thanks for noting my absense though.
Back bitches
If you can, hide behind the light screen (its lying somewhere above you in the snow right?) and wait for the psychic to be over. Blast out of the snow with a SWIFT attack, double team and hit it with a night slash. Hard.
ROUND THREE
Half buried in the snow and with no time to dig herself out completely, Scyther struggles to loosen it from around her so she can take cover properly. Lady Frostbite wacthes with some disdain as Scyther attempts to dig towards the buried Light Screen. She sighs, and her eyes glow white. Moving her arms as if lifting and dropping, he lifts clumps of snow from the pile covering Scyther, and starts lumping it on top of the bug type, burying her completely. A muffled sound comes from under the snow, and a spray of shiny stars shoots out creating a hole that Scyther is just about visible beneath. The stars head straight for Lady Frostbite, but end up embedded in a tree behind her, having passed right through her ghostly body.
Scyther HP(-0) PP(-3)
Lady Frostbite HP(-0) PP(-5)
Hidden within a fortress of snow, Scyther can move freely, but is sat in a deep pit with four walls surrounding her. Never-the-less she is resourceful. Leaping upwards, she glitters like the snow at the peak of her jump, and four Scythers land. One in the pit, and three standing upon the snow. Lady Frostbite grits her teeth, this was unexpected. She conjures a ball of energy that shifts through a few colours momentarily, before settling back to white. Without any adverse weather conditions, the ball remains un-transformed. Reeling back, she tosses the ball, where it crashes through a Scyther, shattering the copy and vanishing into the snow.
Scyther HP(-0) PP(-5)
Lady Frostbite HP(-0) PP(-3)
The three remaining Scyther jump forward and run towards the Froslass. With so many targets to choose from again, Lady Frostbite has to choose quickly. She bowls shadowy ghostly energy into a ball and throws it at the nearest Scyther. The ball shatters another clone, that's some terrible luck for Lady Frostbite this round. The remaining two Scyther are upon her. They both slash hard and fast, cutting through the ghost type with pure dark energy. Lady Frostbite howls in pain while the two Scyther back away to a safe distance.

Errm just to check, shouldn't Night Slash have done more damage than 13? Considering that its super effective and scyther has 140% attack?
O~kay.
Start off with creating a substitute. Aim for about 25%.
Next, hit Froslass with a swagger. Follow up with a Night Slash. Lets cross our fingers for a critical.
Sub any of the above moves with swift if she double teams.
Sub swagger with Steel Wing if she creates a substitute in her first action.

ROUND FOUR
Scyther starts funnelling energy and health, pushing out of her body and into a vessel. She can't be accurate as to how much she uses, but it's a fairly big amount considering her current status. Her foe flicks between clones, seeing them all doing the same actions. Lady Frostbite reaches out and pulls on the thoughts and actions of the Scyther before her. It doesn't matter that some of them aren't real, the thoughts that are nearby are what she's acting upon. When Scyther is finished, she steps back to look upon her creation. She can't be certain, but it doesn't look like it's where it should be. Is it one of the clones? It's hard to tell when everything looks alike. Lady Frostbite looks upon a shell in her own shape that floats just above the snow. She moves around, but her enemy never once looks at her directly. Get in!

Substitute HP(+20)
Scyther growls as she slowly realises that her energy has been taken from her. She looks around desperately hoping to catch a glimpse of the real enemy, but can't see anything beyond the false substitute. This is just not fair! Scyther starts ranting, oh the things she is saying and doing, the motions she is making. They are bad. I mean, if there were young pokemon present, their ears would be covered by their parents. Froslass, regardless of having a false substitute, can still hear the insults directed at her, at her mother, and at her trainer's personal habits. Enraged, she screams at the heavens, and hail begins to tear through the canopy of the trees once more. As her body wavers and becomes partially transparent in the falling snow her temper hits critical and she is blinded to whatever else is going on around her. Scyther hisses, as her clones are cut apart one by one by the snow and her body is lashed by the ice.

Substitute HP(+20)
Still pissed off at everything that has been done to her this round, Scyther charges at the false Froslass and brings both scythes down through the copy. Blackened energy radiates through the scythes and whilst the clone is ultimately lifeless, it makes a pretty impressive attempt at looking pained. Lady Frostbite has other ideas for her opponent than attacking, but in her currently enraged sate she's having some trouble focusing on her song. The words aren't coming to her, the tune isn't right, and over the sound of the falling hail she's just not having any success. Screaming in rage, she kicks up a massive fuss in the snow and ends up hurting herself in the process.

Drown out the sounds of the taunt by whipping up an Ominous Wind. Hopefully, the noisy wind and the hail will block out the taunts and take out the substitute.
Use an aerial ace to avoid the blizzard and strike Froslass. Finish up with Night Slash.
ROUND FIVE
In her raging confusion, Lady Frostbite starts throwing out drunken slurs and rude insults that no pokemon would want to hear. Over the roaring Blizzard that drowned out her previous song it's only partially audible again. Scyther can only just hear the sounds, and it's making her a little angry. She flaps her wings and a black mist begins to form around them. Faster and faster, more mist is created. With a flick of the blade, the wind is blasted forward where it envelops the fake Froslass, obliterating it completely. Scyther flaps her wings a few more times, as a little more mist forms around them. She inhales deeply, and the mist enters her body, prompting an all round boost. The sound of both winds has completely drowned out Frostbite's Taunting, but all that venting seems to have calmed her down.

With her substitute destroyed Lady Frostbite is out in the open again and open to attack. She summons a powerful wind full of ice and snow that wraps itself around the trees and her ghostly form before blowing quickly towards Scyther. The bug pokemon moves quickly, and smoothly, her body boosted by the Ominous Wind. She is gone from the spot she stood before the wind reaches her. Lady Frostbite spins around to find Scyther behind her. She swipes at the ghost with her claws, boosted by her Technician ability and her raised attack, Froslass howls in pain again.

Lady Frostbite HP(-13) PP(-6)
Wow, Lady Frostbite is not having a good round at the moment. But with her foe in close proximity, she can attack quickly and without worry. An icy cold chill surrounds the two pokemon, one that leaves Scyther shivering, her willingness to run slipping away form her. The chill increases, and so does the shivering. Scyther growls, and lets loose another powerful slashing attack, her blades a dull black, dark energy coursing through them. Her ghostly foe screams in pain once more, and the chill fades away, leaving only the harsh hail falling, scraping itself against Scyther's body all the time. The hail is starting to let off now though, and it's effects are weakening.

I know you don't have much energy left scyther, but hang in there!
Take a good rest with roost. After that, hit her with a Night Slash and an air slash.
If she uses taunt or sing, sub an action with ominous wind. Keep priority as roost, night slash then air slash.
Apparently Roost is snatchable, according to the movelist ^_^. So, snatch that roost from it, then Blast it with a couple of close range Blizzards!

ROUND SIX
With both pokemon feeling run down and tired, this round could be the deciding point of the battle. Scyther leaps onto a tree brnach, flicks her wings a little, before closing them against the body and resting against the tree. She take a deep breath, filling her nostrils with the cool sharp winters air and... nothing happens? She glares at her foe, who is surrounded by a sharp black energy, that seems to be drawing the energy away from Scyther and into Lady Frostbite. The phantom lady is filled with health, without a major loss of energy. At this point in the battle, a change like that could spell the end.
Scyther HP(-0) PP(-10) ~ HP(-2) struck by Hail
Lady Frostbite HP(+20) PP(-8)
Scyther leaps down form the perch and darts forward as fast as she can, delivering a quick slash through the body of his ghostly foe. Lady Forstbite howls, but she pulls a brilliant gust of wind down through the trees, slamming lumps of ice and snow in Scyther, knocking the bug down and leaving massive clumps of snow frozen to the pokemon's body. Scyther struggles to move with the ice holding her down, and she can only look on in horror as she sees what is coming next.
