Arena: Mineral desert

Sand as far as the eye can see. There is one big rock pillar in the middle, shaped like an obelisk. Various strange symbols are drawn in the sand, but seem to dissapear now and then. There's a four turn Sandstorm, then two turns without. Weather-moves are only usable in the two turns that the sandstorm is subdued. As soon as the two turns are over, the sandstorm is back. Earthquake is pretty ineffective due to all the sand; and the drought slightly lessens the power of water-pokemon or water-moves.

Badge: Solid Stone

A silverwhite round stone with a sharp edge. It is according to rumors the combination of his former badge and that of his master. It consists only of pure minerals.

Convec seemed to have this matter of Steel under control, as he stood up. A hefty boost of steam came rolling form his body as a massive amber energy cycled around his form.

Suddenly, Katara exploded into a Jet of blue steel hurricane force, crashing into Convec and sending them both backwards. The Empoleon skidded a few feet, and then was hurled even farther by the Earth Power that tagged her from behind.

The heat was really coming down today, and Convec smiled, knowing another Earth Power would shut this fool down. Well... not really. Especially since this freak went spinning like a top, and then buzzzed around. It was had to get a bead on him, and as such, that Earth Power missed! Stupid bird was getting faster!

Well, a bit displeased with the greatness of speed now being exemplified, Convec waited to see what would happen next. What DID happen really shocked the crap out of him...as Katara woke up.

Convec hastily fired that charged Earth Power, but Katara spat off that Brine a few seconds faster than Convec would have liked. The fallout was harsh, Convec. A light wind blew over them, signifying the beginning of the Sandstorm, and Katara stood up looked around quietly..
