Welcome one and all to the Indigo Stadium, where a two on two battle is about to begin between Spade and Kirby97. The arena has been chosen by the challenger Spade, the traditional circular arena with a pit of lava and a polo of water. For those of you listening in on your Pokegear, you can check out an image of the arena by accessing your news feed and clicking the handy link provided. The battlers release their pokemon. Spade has chosen his Charmander, whilst Kirby97 is going for his shiny hued Dratini. As the challenged, Kirby has first command.
ROUND ONE
Dratini is quick to start this round, a glittering blue light cascades from his body, then like water dripping from a surface, flows upwards into the sky beckoning clouds to billow and rain to fall down. This development isn't to pleasing for fire type Charmander, and to show his distaste for the new weather conditions, slashes his claws across Dratini's body, leaving heavy marks in the young dragon's body. Any ordinary scratch would have been fine, but the hint of draconic energy in the blow meant it was a serious attack. Meanwhile, the rain is having an effect on the arena. The pool of water is starting to fill quite rapidly, and without anything to siphon it off, it's starting to overflow. The lava pit on the other hand is still bubbling away, but every droplet that shits it's surface instantly turns to steam, leaving a cloud of white hover over the surface
Scowling at the red furred salamander, Dratini's body begins to spark with electricity. 'Before he uses Thunder' Charmander has been told. Changing the weather from clear skies is one thing, but to shift the weather from heavy rain fall all the way to Blazing heat on the other side of the weather spectrum isn't something one can do lightly, and certainly not in a hurry. Flecks of light and flame fly from Charmander's body into the stormy sky, but it's not quick enough to block the Thunder, which leaps from droplet to droplet, conducted with perfect aim to completely envelope the flame pokemon, leaving him scorched. The Sunny Day has worked, but not as well as hoped. The rain has gone, but the sky has reverted back to it's normal serenity.
Dratini looks a little miffed at his glorious rain being dispersed, but he's not that concerned since so far he's doing considerably well. Electricity begins to sparkle around his body again as he prepares another electric assault. Groaning from the last strike he took, Charmander pushes a shell of energy out around his body just as Dratini unleashes the attack. It would seem the protections wasn't worth it, as without the rain to conduct the bolt, it's accuracy has fallen short, with just a few stray bolts splashing off the shield. Charmander breaths a heavy sigh as he drops the force-field, and has to calm himself as he feels his heart beating rapidly. He watches his foe adamantly, as the Dratini simply smirks and curls up to await the next round.
charmander use flamethrower, then dragon rush and while ur up close finish with dragon claw
dratini use thunderbolt, then use rain dance, then hit it with a thunder
ROUND TWO
Standing on the edge of the steam covering the lava, where he feels at home, Charmander eyes up his opponent. Dratini is following suit, paddling in the overspill from the water pool, the two are in their elements ready to fight. With neither of them suffering an inability to perform on the mark, they both attack simultaneously. Charmander takes a deep intake of air whilst sparks of electricity form around Dratini's body. A bolt of electrical energy sweeps away from one, whilst the other breaths a jet of super heated flame, both headed directly for the opponent, destined to hit in the middle. Destiny never fails, and the two attacks collide. The elements aren't opposites, so they pass through each other, with only a little of each being trapped and dissipated. Lightning strikes Charmander, while the water around Dratini boils as he is hit with the flame.
Both growling from the attacks, Dratini turns his attentions to the sky once more. As the upwards rain effect flows from his body into the sky Charmander surrounds himself with a draconic energy once again, covering his head and claws with the aura. Tiny droplets falling from the sky quickly turn into a torrential downpour, but it's not going to stop Charmander, who charges forward, colliding hard with Dratini who is thrown backwards by the force of the attack, and ends up floating in the top of the now overflowing pool. Charmander shows his distaste of the rain by snapping at the sky furiously, while Dratini swims around a little to get used to being in the water.
With all the super conductive water in the air and around his body, Charmander is a sitting duck for a Thunder attack, which Dratini sends out swiftly and mercilessly. There's no delay in the attack this time, and it jumps from drop to drop slamming into Charmander with such a force that his muscles all lock at the same time and he struggles to maintain any kind of balance or poise. Shaking from the impact, Charmander has to move around the edge of the pool in order to get close enough to Dratini to strike, but even then the pokemon finds it easy to evade the attack, as the slowed down Charmander can barely manage to rake his claws over the tiny dragon pokemon before he dips under the water to avoid further damage.
thunder doesnt cause paralysis
ok sorry my bad
dratini use thunder, then use aqua tail, then hit it with a draco meteor
chamander start with sunny day to dry up the water, then use flamethrower and end with dragon rush
Sorry guys, I'm gonna have to cancel this match.
Spade is already in five other battles, and I'm gonna cancel the last (according to date).
Spade, there is a battle-limit of four battles. Sorry if I'm being a bitch, but everyone has to abide by these rules.
spade is only in 4 battles including this one
im only in four battles now
ROUND THREE
Lying a the bottom of the water pool, Dratini looks up at his opponent through the water as it is pelted with rain. Charmander grimaces. He's not going to be able to do much with a huge wall of water between and his enemy. Looking up at the heavens, he channels heat energy through his body again in an attempt to clear the rain away and bring out the sun. Meanwhile Dratini sends a massive blast of electrical energy out of the bottom of the pool, sending it slamming into Charmander just as he pulls off his weather changing attack. The rain comes to an end and the temperature begins to rise, but the rain was still too strong to dissipate entirely, resulting in a hot but cloudy coverage above. The pool of water stops overflowing, but the amount of heat it would take to dry it up is phenomenally more than even a marginally hot day can reach. Charmander looks at the still full pool of water disappointingly, while Dratini enjoys his warm bath.
Less than pleased with the way things have turned out, Charmander is left with his opponent still safe beneath the water. A flamethrower? Into the pool? Well that would just be a total waste. Luckily for him, Dratini swims about a little tp pick up speed, before flipping himself out of the water, slapping Charmander in the face hard with his tail. Charmander growls and lets loose a jet of flame, only for it to be cut short by a jolt of paralysis running through his jaw. The flames die out to soon, and even then, they don't hurt the soaking wet dragon as much as they could have. Dratini smirks again, while the fire type nurses his sore cheek.
Ecstatic at the way things have turned out so far, Dratini prepares to unleash hell upon his opponent, and the arena. Letting loose a cry that sends shivers through all those that hear it, he sings to the skies and to his ancestors, who answer his prayers by darkening the skies. A small dragon can only do so much, but four huge balls of burning rock fall from the sky, crashing into the arena destroying it in the process. The force of the seemingly random impacts throws Charmander from his feet, whilst missing Dratini completely. The shockwaves hit Charmander one by one, leaving him sprawled on the floor, the lava spilling out of it's mangled pool, colliding with the pool of water, creating a mixture of steam and stone as they both cool and boil rapidly at the same time. When the assault finally finishes, Dratini stares at the destruction he has caused with great fear. He doesn't expect to be struck from behind by Charmander, letting his massive anger out in a powerful rush attack.
With the arena utterly destroyed, a clean up team sweep through quickly to tidy up a few things, making sure it isn't too dangerous to continue. The entire arena is massively uneven, and a mixture of smoke and steam is rising out of the pit. Three meteors remain, one surrounded by the last of the lava, one by the last of the water, and one on it's own near the edge of the arena. The other has broken apart leaving lots of rocks lying around.
charmander dragon rush, dragon claw, dragon claw
MS Paint ftw XD.

dratini use aqua tail, then use surf then use waterfall
ROUND FOUR
Suffering from paralysis may have slowed Charmander down, but he's still willing to fight to the end. His lack of speed however isn't playing in his favour as he charges towards Dratini, only to be slapped in the face again by a wet and intense Aqua Tail, dealt by the little dragon. He may be terrified by his own power, but he's not giving in either. Charmander steadies himself before ramming his shoulder into Dratini, delivering a blow of draconic force with it.
Charmander isn't about to surrender, and readies his super sharp claws for attack. There's nothing holding him back, his rage is taking over now, in fact, I don't think paralysis could stop him now. Dratini isn't showing much fear of his opponent, he's got the perfect attack to stop him. A massive tidal wave of water sweeping across the battered arena... is what Dratini would like to have seen, but with only a slowly diminishing puddle of water to supply the attack, and the heat of the sun baring down, he only manages to hit Charmander with an attack about as strong as a Water Gun. Charmander grins at his opponents misfortune, and rakes his claws across Dratini's chest, casuing the shiny pokemon to squeal in pain.
Oh dear, Dratini's use of 'Surf' has spread the remaining water so thinly over the arena that it's drying up fast. The lava on the other hand seems to be melting the meteor slowly, resulting in more of it gradually bubbling out. While Charmander doesn't seem that bothered, Dratini isn't looking happy. With plans to hit Charmander with a Waterfall boost attack put to shot, the best Dratini can manage is a slam of some kind, that just irritates Charmander more than anything else. The fire type is quickly satisfied however as he digs his claws across Dratini's back, once again leaving long slash marks and open wounds on his opponent's back. As Dratini howls in pain again, the last of the water dries up, leaving Indigo the workforce pondering how they are going to repair this mess.
When your pokemon reach 0% ENERGY they will lose 1% per attack they perform, and 1% per hit they take, maybe more depending on the strength of the attack. Stopping to relax for a turn will only result in 0% loss, it will not regain lost energy.
kirby97 is DQ
yep sounds good
