Feeling a little dizzy from that last attack from the Gastly, Gerald recollects himself, and goes back on the offensive again, attacking the Gastly with a Water Gun. The medium-sized blast of water doesn't appear to hurt Gastly much, but it still is felt, as Gastly shakes it off before firing another Psywave which rattles Gerald a bit.

Despite the annoyances that the Psywaves from Gastly have been causing him, Gerald is able to get off another Water Gun, which despite small in power, does give Gastly a good soaking. Another Psywave from Gastly soon comes at Gerald, making him feel dizzy again...

Managing to shake off the dizziness after a few moments, Gerald decides on taking a quick breather to regain a little health, making Gastly grin as he finds it the perfect time to catch Gerald with an Astonish.

Gerald goes back on the icy offensive, blasting Gastly with another Ice Beam. The freezing cold beam catches Gastly off-guard, having nearly forgotten about being exposed to the cold before. Nonetheless, the Gastly takes several moments to retaliate with another Shadow Ball, knocking Gerald back a bit.

With the Gastly slowly getting weaker, he can barely do a thing before he is hit once again by an Ice Beam courtesy of Gerald. Once again, the Gastly struggles to fight back as he fires off one more Shadow Ball at Gerald, knocking the Piplup back again.

Poor Gin. Well not really. Deli's still a bit confused, but the shiny eyes give Gin away. Cursing his luck, Gin fires a second doseage of Confusion at Deli, but the bird averts his eyes. The ray hits, and takes effect, warping the darkness around Deli. Its followed by a rock to the gut, and Deli falls over. Deli however, forces Gin to run as an Avalanche occurs inside the cavern!!!

Gin suddenly makes tracks, as Deli rolls around, dazed by his own attack and by the confusion, as that Skarmory breaks through the felled cavern with a shrill screech, and comes speeding out the darkness! Gin is slashed along his back by one of those bladed wings, and lands hard on the ice.

But as you pass it you here some sniggering and when you turn back around it seems to have disappeared and a small soccerball had taken its place. But, if he wakes up (whether Dream Eater works or not), I want Aries to use Psychic to hold the Nidoking in a tight grip as Blizzeta blasts him with an Ice Beam.

Gin flips up, knowing there's not much time. He scampers back toward you, not the happiest about this whole cold adventure. Delibird follows, but not to attack, but because it doesnt know left from right. You size up its path and roll the Pokeball so Deli steps on it and falls on her head. The ball opens and sucks the Pokemon in.

Wow. Crappy luck. Deli's caught, but that damn Skarmory picks up the ball before you can transfer it, and runs off!! You instantly freak out..but then you find yourself at the entrance, an Abra holding up said Pokeball.

Yeah we have deterrants for situations like that. Congrats to you and your catch.

In elation you waltz over to the pokeball and pick it up, as you do that a bright light engulfs you and find that you are back at the entrance to the safari zone.
