Togepi keeps on consolidating his power by huddling over and like some crazed maniac starts cackling to himself as he powers himself up. Ember sees this act of weirdness being performed by Togepi and tries to copy how it is down, but due to her infatuation with the egg seems unable to go through with it and just lays on the ground wondering about how fantastic Togepi is. Still asleep on the ground Surskit can only relax as he snores away.

Snoring on the ground like a fog horn Surskit wakes up and get ready to go. Togepi looks up the sky and start dancing around before firing something up into the sky, the sun suddenly intensifies making the whole arena heat up like a microwave. Ember uses this new sun to blast a fiery ball of doom straight at Surskit but before it hits him, her puts up a barrier of energy which blocks the attack then falls to the ground like shattered glass.

With the sun hanging up in the sky, Togepi puts its hands together and charges up a small ball of solar energy which gets bigger and bigger before being so large he has no choice but to fire it. Before he does though, Ember thinks that this is so fantastic that she starts clapping for Togepi powering up his attack. Togepi finally lets loose the beam of light which sails into the substitute almost destroying it. Surskit just smirks and goes into a deep sleep.

Still sleeping Surskit lets out a loud snore releasing a thin white smoke which comes together to form an imaginary Surskit which fires a beam of bubbles at Ember. Togepi takes a step back and puts up a circle of energy around himself protecting him from harm. Shaking the water of her face Ember runs in and slices the substitute finally destroying it.

With the substitute down Togepi and Ember have free reign over what they do to the sleeping Surskit. Togepi starts coughing violently and throws up some purple goo which he flings across the field at Surskit; Ember is watching this scene and feels sick inside that she ever fell in love with that thing quickly snapping out of her infatuation. She creates some small ghostly orbs of fire which float towards Surskit burning him, his response is to create another smoke clone of himself and the clone looks at Ember and starts flexing its muscles captivating Ember’s attention with that Surskit wakes up.

Finally awake Surskit thinks its needs some more rest and relaxes on the ground getting some energy back. Ember follows suit and also sits down on the ground getting her energy back. Togepi smirks at the lazing Surskit and fires a bolt of lightning which streaks across the field and hits Surskit hurting him quite a bit.

Togepi feels quite satisfied with his position in this battle so he just sits on the ground and lies back taking a short nap. Surskit is out raged at this and summons a massive wave of water which travels across the field and slams on top of Togepi washing him away with the water before dissipating and leaving Togepi coughing up seawater.

Surskit laughs at his foes ignorance and summons another wave of water which crashes over Togepi thrashing him around a bit more. Yet this attack took a little more out of him then it should have.
