You seem to forget that Empoleon is Water as well, and thus would shrug off Water attacks with little effort.

Instead of deciding how about just start a rolling Tourney. Randomise the type, play it out, when one ends the next starts with a new type being randomised - the one thats just gone untill all types have been played.

I think one of the more interesting 'tactical' types would be cool instead of all the 'I SMASH YOUR FACE' types. Like Poison/Bug/Grass.

Of course type isnt the only way to decide. Perhaps have an Aerial battle (it was in one of the recent Anime ep's) where only Pokemon Capable of flight can enter. Scizor vs Gliscor was the example in the Anime i think.

I need everyone to take a few minutes and go over their roster/battles. Make sure that

1) You are in MAX four battles. This does not include a Gym Match.
2) Pokemon you have are approved for battle. If you have things in the Egg Tower, make sure you get them approved.
3) ALL unclaimed battles and other forms of point acquisition are claimed and reported in the bank by Wednesday, May 19th. I would like a really up to date bank list since we do have events scheduled for the end of May and it would be to everyone's benefit to have these things totaled correctly.

Ayeun: That list shows the first person who acquired a particular Pokemon, whether it came from a catch, an egg hatch, or an evolution. I did all the new D/P updates (with a little help from CEB and MLG) for the 2010 edition, updating the work that MLG took up from Indecent Exposure, who I believe was the first person to make a first catch list for ASB.

DarkestLight: Uh, looking at that last post of yours, do refs have to post their completed battles in the Reffing Tower soon if they want to be able to get a ref reward (provided they have enough reffed battles to get the reward(s) they can earn)? It makes me really curious to if ref rewards can expire if you take too long to try to claim them?
