Looking to the future...

As usual, January has been a slow month. Slow for the forums, and slow for news. The December holiday season is over and it's time for us to recharge. However, there have been some small tidbits possibly related to Generation 5.

Video game forums and blogs have been abuzz lately with the first details of the next Nintendo handheld system after the DSi/DSi XL. In an interview, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata told the Asahi Shimbun that the next handheld system should have higher resolution graphics and a motion sensor. Could this system be the home to the next generation of pokemon? Well, other news has gotten out that the 13th pokemon movie, due out in Japan this Summer will feature new Pokemon, however as we've seen before this might not really be the case. One possible alternate translation that's been given is that the phrase that's been translated as "new pokemon in the movie" is actually saying "pokemon in the new movie".

In site news, the ability to post youtube videos has been added. Now we no longer have to link to videos, but can instead embed them in our posts. Thanks to admin Lady Vulpix for adding this feature!
