Basically i want to get back into this but im indecisive of who to challenge.

We will keep it simple, 3v3 (one at a time) on a standard Indigo Stadium field.

We are back, this time to commemerate the return of an old ASB favortie, Ultimate Charizard here to get back in the swing of things against newcomer toucheiruka. They release their Pokémon. For Ultimate Charizard a male Ralts, by (uncreatively) by the name of Ralts. Toucheiruka unleashes a Whismur. Huh.. haven't seen one of those in ASB.. named after the deceased Oxy-Clean Man! Okay, Pokémon Battle all set! Ready? Go!

Ralts starts off by gaining a protective shield of multiple hexagons floating around him (-3 E @ Ralts, Safeguard → 3 Rounds). Billy Mays lets out a yowling howl (-2 E @ Billy Mays/ATK -).

The ringing in his ears, Ralts is met with another high pitched squeal that echoes in his head (-2 E @ Billy Mays/DEF --). That was annoying, as a beam of kaleidescope colors shoots out of his eyes and crosses over Billy's (-3 E @ Ralts/CNF 50% Attack Fail), causing the Whimsur's eyes to spin around in a daze.

The opponent disoriented, Ralts crackles with electricity before unleashing a small bolt of lightning (-8 E @ Ralts/-8 H @ Billy Mays, CNF 40% Attack Failure). Billy, frustrated tries to fling himself at Ralts, but ends up flat on his face instead (-5 E @ Billy Mays, -5 H @ Billy Mays, CNF 30% Attack Failure).

And with that, is the end of the first round!

Lets get some more Status effects going shall we. Let the Headbutt come in and spray a Toxic right in its face. After that go for a Will-o-wisp and finish by using Imprison on Rest.

Rest? This early in the match? Yeah this is gonna take a while.

Billy takes the start by rushing full on at Ralts, slaming the small thing with his head (-6 E @ Billy mays, CFN 20% Attack Failure/-10 H @ Ralts). Ralts won't have any of it, as he spits a poison that soaks into Billy's skin (-6 E @ Ralts/PSN (TXC) 2%).

Once more Billy seems to take the offensive as he comes in to give the Ralts something else to think about, however he spins and trips over himsefl again (-5 E @ Billy Mays, -6 H @ Billy Mays, CFN 10% Attack Failure). Snickering, Ralts summons forth several glowing orbs of flame to surround Billy, scorching him (-4 E @ Ralts/BRN 2% Damage).

With enough done so far, Billy decides it's time for a nap, in which he falls asleep (-15 E @ Billy mays, +8 Health (Health Full), No longer PSN, or BRN. No longer CFN). Ralts tries to lock out the ability, but finds that it can't be affected.

Wait...why wont Imprison work? I thought it disabled one attack that the user can also use?

Oh well, back to it i suppose. Since its asleep... Dream Eater followed by another one if its still asleep. If not use Thunderwave and and end by getting that Toxic back in place.

As the Games go, Yes, however our Attack Dex says the following:

Imprison - PSY - The user consumes significant energy to prevent one opponent from reusing any move that the pair of them both can learn from the past two rounds. This can only happen if the Imprison user used that same move in the last few rounds as well. Imprison can only happen if the attack is one which deals with energy (has some sort of glow). You can’t Imprison’s Squirtle to Body Slam, but you can Imprison Skull Bash, due to the normal energy used in the attack. If the attack which is attempted to Imprison is of the victim’s type, the energy required to use Imprison rises significantly, and the attack takes much longer to do.
Fatigue: Moderate/High
Accuracy: Excellent

The two requirements here are "used in the last two rounds" and "deals with energy/sort of glow" Since this is the first time Rest was used, and it doesn't have a glow, Imprision does not affect the move Rest.

Ralts is off the bat first, drawing in those delicious dreams of Billy's (-10 E @ Ralts, +9 H @ Ralts/-14 H @ Billy Mays). Billy still sleeps (+8 H @ Billy, -5 E @ Billy Mays, 30% chance to wake up/-7 H @ Ralts) as he lets out an alarming snore.

In a surprisng twist, Billy's eyes snap open and he pushes himself back up before shooting forth a sphere of concentrated water at Ralts (-6 E @ Billy Mays/-10 H @ Ralts (CRIT)). With the annoyance awake again, Ralts unleashes an electrifying net that numbs and deadens the nerves in Billy's body (-5 E @ Ralts/PAR, 25% Attack Failure, SPD -- ).

With Billy incapacitate for the moment, Ralts spits up a poisonous brew that splashes on the Whismur's hide before soaking in (-6 E @ Ralts/PSN (TXC) 2 %). Billy isn't letting this stop him as he shoots another sphere of water at Ralts (-7 E @ Billy Mays/-7 H @ Ralts).

The rounds over and Billy's looking not so well (-2 PSN (TXC)).

Well well well/ Let's keep it going shall we?!

Ralts starts to spew insult after insult at Billy, insulting his mother, her combat boots, and her cooking all in one go (-3 E @ Ralts/Taunted 3 Rounds). Not about to let such insults go unpunished, Billy charges in and slams into Ralts with his head (-7 E @ Billy Mays/-13 H @ Ralts).

Smirking to himself, Ralts starts to convulse as electricity charges through his body and he unleashes a blast right at Billy (-4 E @ Ralts/-6 H @ Billy Mays). It's a hit, and it seem that Billy can't retaliate due to his muscles giving out.

Ralts is on the attack again, assaulting not just Billy's Mind, but his body with a crushing mental prowess (-7 E @ Ralts/-11 H @ Billy Mays). Billy's frustration roars in his mind as he flails himself at Ralts for an indiscriminate attack (-5 E @ Billy Mays/-5 H @ Ralts). And Ralts' floating hexagons of safety disappear.

As the Round ends, it seems as if Billy's not having a good time (-4 PSN (TXC)).

Once more ladies and gentlemen! It seems as if the battle may be turned around in Billy's favor, but can the Whismur hang on through his poison?

It's off with a bang as Ralts illuminates the whole area like a paparazi reporter (-3 E @ Ralts/Blinded → Accuracy 90%, 1 Round.). Billy tries to flex his vocal muscles, but finds himself stopped short as his body locks up. Paralysis sucks doesn't it?

Once more Ralts is on the offensive as he concentrates on Billy with an overwhelming mind (-7 E @ Ralts/-13 H @ Billy mays). The Whismur isn't going to back down yet as he flings himself at Ralts for an exchange of heads (-6 E @ Billy Mays/-12 H @ Ralts).

Well that was unexpected, but Ralts isn't going to let the damage get to him as he unleashes another constricting wave of mental energy (-8 E @ Ralts/-14 H @ Billy Mays). Billy is still in the fight as he concentrates his shadow into a sphere of darkness, before shooting it right at Ralts, for a dead-on hit (-7 E @ Billy Mays/-12 H @ Ralts).

The round nears to an end as Billy coughs, the poison flowing through his system faster now (-8 PSN (TXC)).

A bit closer to the end of this first set, let's keep going.

Ralts is on the offensive as he gains a glow of mental energy, before Billy feels his insides get kicked in (-6 E @ Ralts/-10 H @ Billy Mays). Billy catches his breath, before calling a bone-chilling wind to sweep across the field (-11 E @ Billy Mays/-11 H @ Ralts).

This doesn't stop Ralts as he continues his assault (-7 E @ Ralts/-11 H @ Billy Mays). Billy staggers before inhaling and cutting lose with a blast of fire (-9 E @ Billy Mays/-9 H @ Ralts).

Both Pokémon are winded but continue on as Ralts unleashes another mental blast (-7 E @ Ralts/-7 H @ Billy Mays. TKO'D). And Billy is down!

So Ralts is the victor of this first set, while Billy is recalled and toucheiruka gets to choose his next battler.

Toucheiruka sends out Bohemian, a small normal looking Cyndaquil to continue the fight. Can he hold his own? We'll see.

And Bohemian is through the gate first splitting into multiple images (-3 E @ Bohemian, Evasion → 3 Clones 75%). Ralts is unsure which one to hit, so a little Einy-Miney-Moe and he fires a kalidoscope ray at one (-3 E @ Ralts, [b]-1 H @ Ralts (Energy Sub)/Evasion → 66%).

Ralts isn't discouraged as he spits up a glob of sludge to spit at Bohemian (-3 H @ Ralts, (Energy Sub)/TXC → PSN 2%, Evasion → 0%), and it looks like the Cyndaquil is going to catch the flu soon. Unfortunately for Ralts, Bohemian didn't like that, as he spins around, flames enveloping him before rolling into the Psychic-Type (-5 E @ Bohemian/-7 H @ Ralts) and with that, Ralts is down for the count.

As we wind the round down, Ultimate Charizard recalls Ralts and gets ready to send the next contender against this fire mammal (-2 H @ Bohemian (TXC)).
