Ever lose something, then never find it again?

I have with lots of things, some games, and my DVD remote being the primary things I have lost, then not found after being lost.

I lost the USB cable for my camera and haven't been able to find it, which is frustrating since I have photos I want to upload

Yeah, it has happened to me a few times, one of the big things I lost was my Pokemon Silver game several years ago, I don't know how it vanished on me, but as mysterious as its disappearance was, not to mention so baffling, I haven't been able to find it despite seeing used copies of the game in at least one store on the island that sells used video games.

But nowadays, the loss doesn't really bother me as much as it used to years ago.

No. Usually I lose something for a while, then after giving up and replacing it the thing turns up. Case in point: I have two wallets, two driver's licenses, two passports, multiple half-used sticks of deodorant, and two copies each of FFVI, FFVII, FFVIII, FFT, Starcraft, and Command & Conquer.
