Back in the Fray 12 v 12: Mew Master vs Wolfsong (Ref: DL TIL TEH END!)

Heyas... As I'm taking a break from my Reffing duties for the meantime... I'm open to a mixed bag of sorts. Therefore I challenge anyone to a 12 v 12 match.

Here's the catch: Only use Basic or Stage 1 Pokemon (this is for me to get mine some experience). Basic preferred if you want to get them some EXP.

Banned moves: Non Damaging Healing Moves
Arena: Indigo Stadium (too lazy to come up with something spectacular. Keeping it simple).
Type: 12 Pokemon Each, 1 out at a time.
DQ: Why yus, I'd love some.
Special: Toxic is limited to one use per Pokemon. Move substitutions is limited to One per Move set.

Other Rules apply.

Once I have a challenger and ref, We'll start the match.

We begin this battle with Wolf and Mew selecting their Pokemon. Wolf grins as she selects her Shinx called Abby. Mew gives a slight smile as he sends out his Turtwig whom is referred to as Gui Xian. They gave their Pokemon the orders they wanted and the battle began.

We now begin with Gui surrounding himself in a veil of light which shimmered like the stars. Abby took note of this and gave Gui such a sour face that Gui instinctively stepped back and decided to take it a bit easier in the future.

Now that Gui had been slowed down considerably, Abby wanted to get herself geared for battle and so howled, which echoed and bounced off the near empty stadium. She felt better after doing that...and bit stronger too. She was then brought out of her thoughts by small projectiles hitting into her head. She was hit three times and turned angrily to see a grinning grass turtle.

Abby frowned as her head throbbed. She opened her mouth and fired a multi-coloured beam at the turtle. It hit into him and he screeched in pain, backing off slightly. Abby seemed satisfied by this until Gui decided that he wanted to charge at Abby, fully. Using all his might he slammed into Abby causing her to slide back. She also felt her muscles sieze up. Damnit!

We begin with slow yet steady Abby charging forward in a near last ditch attempt to lay down the pain on Gui. She smacked him with the side of her body causing Gui to slide over near to his trainer. Suddenly there was a bright flash of light and Abby cried out as she was blinded! No wait...her sight was returning...ish.

Abby blinked a few times to banish the spots and looked at Gui. She rubbed her eyes with her paw but saw that she was not seeing double or triple or even quadruple. Gui had quickly (somehow) made five clones of himself. Abby seemed a bit confused but she could match that. She moved with haste and managed to squeeze out two clones before her muscles gave in and seized up. Ah well, two was better then none at all.

She was still rubbing her eyes when Gui and his clones began to move in a hurried circle around Abby. She tried to move her eyes to find the real one but they were moving to fast and eventually her eyes began to hurt. She was then hit, out of nowhere it seemed, by one of the Gui. She landed with a bump and got up, then moaned as her clones vanished. She was quite annoyed so she fired a beam of multi-coloured lights that winked one of the Gui out of existance. The colours hurt her eyes so much, she thought she might miss. The Gui stopped running and they all caught their breath.

She doesn't go too high off the ground and narrowly avoids a small whirlwind of sand. Gui groans, oh great. Abby feels the muscles becoming normal again and wiggles her limbs. Excellent.

He fires a thick green rope...thing at Abby and latches on. She yelps as a nice portion of health is gone. Gui feels a bit better...but still. He also just realised his clones are gone. Bugger.

Abby charges up her beam whilst Gui moves VERY, VERY slowly towards Abby. She fires her beam and a small explosion causes Gui to be knocked back slightly. He jumps up and then lands on Abby with great force. She cries out under the heavy turtle. Gui steps off her, satisfied he can still see.

Now Abby's fur begins to bristle. It crackles and sparks before it fires it into an electrical beam. It didn't miss even with Abby's poor sight. Gui smelt the familiar smell of fried turtle. He shook himself and charged again. He didn't see a rock sticking out of the ground...so he tripped.

Abby starts off once again to try and fry this turtle into extinction. She charges up and releases a healthy bolt of electricity that zaps Gui. It stings, but its not THAT bad...but that Earth Power that surged up and went way west...THAT was bad. And the Safeguard, his own little protection, was gone!

The following actions has both Pokemon sitting down and trying to clear their eyes. It seems to work for Gui a little bit though, as he seems to be able to squint and make out what he's seeing for once.

Glad for the rest, Abby now takes a chance and goes for a double helix beam. It cycles up, as if it was completely aimed wrong, and Abby frowns. Gui smirks, and tries to Double Team, but the Beam zooms back down and sweeps over the ground before striking him in the face!

Gui flips, but he doesn't give up. He stands back up and shakes off the strike, before splitting into 4 copies. Abby didn't seem worried though.
