Hmm, I could use a new battle, since my current one is going nowhere, and I've been anxious to battle you for awhile.

I'm going to choose my nameless Smoochum, but before we start Charles, could we agree to ban some moves, please? I'd prefer banning non-damaging status causing moves (such as Toxic, Attract, or Thunder Wave, but not Thunderbolt or Ice Beam), non-damaging healing moves (such as Rest and Recover), Captivate, Substitute, Endeavour, Metal Burst, Explosion, Selfdestruct, Perish Song, etc. What do you think?

Edit: One last thing, you mind if we only use Pokemon that are either unevolved (e.g. first stage), or don't belong in an evolution chain (e.g. Zangoose)?

All right, I'm ready, but one question, who made your banner? I'm tempted to want a similar one for my team, which is definitely growing.

Okay Smoochum, this is your first battle, so let's make it a good one to start.

Start with Double Team, then use a couple of Psychics on him.

But, if he tries using any supereffective move (e.g. Blaze Kick, Bullet Punch, Iron Tail, Rock Tomb, etc.) on you, be ready to retailiate with Counter!

Arrrrgh maties!! This be yer re'free DL, back upon the reffership!! Let us all gather round and drink some pale ale-celebrating the squabbles that give us ..some entertainment today!!

SILENCE!! ...Now, you dastardly scallywags, we got ourselves, a lady fighting today. A little Smoochum, to be precise..

:moochum scuttles forward, bowing. The men cheer, and then pipe down.::

And over,here we have a scrappy feller by the name of Sirius.

::Cheers for Sirius, as he jumps around a few times to stretch.::

Arrgh. Let's FIGHT!

Sirius wastes no time in letting Smoochum knows who's boss, by grabbing the air in front of him. Smoochum hears a sound behind her, but before she can ponder its meaning, she's sent flying forward. Flushed, Smoochum rammed directly into an outstretched foot, courtesy of Sirius. The connecting Wave of energy smacked her free of the Vacuumn, and made her roll over the planked floor. Psychic energy began to erupt around the fem'mon, and instantly, there were three of her where one should have lied.

Not impressed with this little kung fu crazy blue-furred smurf, Smoochum raised her hands, the trio's fingers all connecting. Sirius didn't seem to care, as he dashed across the ship, running along the right side. Smoochum fired off the Psychic, forcing buckets and mops out of the way. The Wave rushed over Sirius, whom jumped through it with enormous velocity. Smoochum stared, dumbfounded! How the hell did that Riolu Detect her Psychic and block it?

Using the power of the Psychic to elevate himself, Sirius Forced himself down. His hand outstretched forth Buddhist Palm style, ready to decimate his opponent. His haste however, left him open for a second Psychic, that erupted from the little Smoochum set. Unable to connect his own attack, Sirius blasted upward. His apex would have been accepted, but his head crashed into the gaff.

Sirius landed on his back, and slowly recovered to rub his head. The Smoochum Sisters smiled, staring down their opponent. So far, we've sailing in clear skies, but who knows what'll happen.

Anyways Sirius start off with an Earthquake to Destroy the clones and to knock Smoochum off her feet next use a Vacuum Wave to knock the wind out of her and then end this round off with Blaze Kick.

Smoochum, Sirius is coming in tough this round, but we can do some serious damage this round if we get lucky.

Intercept his Earthquake by grabbing and squeezing the area where he's doing Earthquake with a Psychic, then grab his whole body again with another Psychic, sending him flying toward the wall on the far side of the ship, then when he comes in with his Blaze Kick, use a third Psychic to grab the hot foot (no pun intended), and throw him leg-first (as in the leg that is on fire) toward a wall.

===Round 2===

A little hurt, Sirius rose up and steadied himself. Looking at his target with renewed eyes, he washed his hands in the sand, trying to get a feel for the ship itself. Smoochum sisters looked at the wily bluefox, and decided to not let him gain the advantage. Their fingers interlocked again, ready to fire a Psychic.

Sirius punched the ground repeatedly, causing the planks on the ship to buckle and inevitably pop up. Their continuous release forced the Smoochum to throw their collective efforts into stopping the onslaught of wood and nails. The Psychic held the Earthquake back; but at the sacrifice at one of the sisters.

Miffed over that block, Sirius ran behind his own path of terror, and jumped over the few planks still standing up. Smoochum only saw a shot of azure, before they both went flying skyward in that crazy Vacuum again. In her disorientation, Smoochum threw out an omni-directional Psychic-at the behest of Sirius, who's fist clashed with her stomach.

The rage of the Psychic threw Sirius backwards, but he had nothing to stop him, except the edge of the ship! However, his left hand grabbed the starboard ledge, and he kipped himself over in one motion, landing on the rail with both feet outstretched.

Smoochum..was not impressed.

Seeing her advantage was helping her keep this fighter on the ropes, Smoochum toddled forward, ready to throw another one out. Sirius didn't jump over her, as expected, but instead ran down the rail and onto the floor of the ship, before dashing right for her. When the distance was acceptable, he swung his right leg out, cutting the air so fast that it looked his lag went up in a Blaze of fire. His flying Kick pose was aimed directly for Smoochum, and connected...

partially. Though the heat caused her to lose her concentration-Smoochum was able to force Sirius to keep it moving, and Sirius wound up kicking the head Mast at full force. Sirius rolled from the hit, upset he was bounced off target. His foot hurt a little, but he turned to Smoochum, whom was none too pleased with the power that damn Rat king could wield.

Okay Smoochum, that round took quite a bit out of you energy-wise, but this is far from over.

Use Flash to try and blind Sirius, then relax, finally, use an Ice Beam to blast him toward the nearest wall (or to at least give him a good chill).

If Sirus tries to come close to you with one of his direct contact moves, use Counter.

Never the less Sirius close your eyes and read both her mind and her Aura with Mind Reader to find the real Smoochum, and blast her with a Focus Blast and then use Detect to doge that Ice Beam.

===Round 3===

Sirius, cautious about his assailent, warily walks up to Smoochum. His left hand outstretched, he closes his eyes as he approaches, utilizing his auratic sight to seek out the ice type. All his Mind senses is stillness, something most pleasant. Having Read his enemy's motives, Sirius opened his eyes to a nasty surprise.

She jumped directly up to him,and Flashed the living daylights into his corneas. Immediately, the fighter reeled backwards, leaping to the left to avoid any direct contact.

Glad that Sirius seemed incapacitated, for the moment, Smoochum took a breather, sitting down near the left side of the ship, taking in the sea air. Her peace seemed everlasting, as Sirius was still rubbing his eyes.

Feeling he played the facade off well enough, Sirius began to use that auratic vision once more-his natural skill allowing him to sense Smoochum's whereabouts. A ginormous Blast of energy formed in his grasp, and it only grew with the passing moments. When it seemed that the mininova was to engulf the fighter, he heaved it with tremendous force at Smoochum. She turned to look back at her opponent, but only saw a splash of orange, followed by moments which made no meaning. Pain, power, strength, slams, wetness and finally, saltiness clinging to her body.

Bobbing in the ocean, Smoochum made her way to the surface. When she broke the barrier between air and sea, she howled in anguish. How did he HIT HER! No matter, she had something for him. She shot herself back onto the ship via the same attack she was going to use on him. The Ice trail that shot up made a distinctive sound on the wood that Sirius caught, and he immediately rolled into a ball to deal with the incoming. Smoochum-seeing her prey in a fetal position, fired from above.

Curled tight, the Beams seemed to only make a shell around the fighter. Smoochum landed, breathing heavily. But her plan seemed to not work as well as she hoped, as the fighter poked his head out of the only opening in his little igloo-unharmed!

===Round 4===

Ducking his head back in, Sirius took a moment to readjust himself to exit out of the home. This gave Smooch enough time to focus her limited energy into an Ice Beam, smacking him right in the side as he crawled out! Thrown to the side, Sirius lied there, partially stunned.

His luck held out however, as he rolled over, and aimed to punch at the sky. Again Smoochum felt the world tilt and wobble, before being punched in the mouth! How the heck did he keep doing that!!

Steeping back and doubling over, Smoochun could only feel the Suns rays part this ships direly gloomy course. Sirius rose to his feet and jumped for joy at the warmth-but that soon fell away as the Ice began to fall. It was small at first, but soon, the Hailstones that fell were the size of tennis balls!

Upset that A) It wasn't rain, and B) that these damn Ice balls were hitting him pretty hard, Sirius dashed for Smoochum's small form. The little jinx was ready, and reached out with cutesy hands and googly eyes. Sirius' foot went aBlaze once again, and he connected directly with Smoochum's arms, which were crossed above her head.

Bending under the extreme power that little fighter had, he Countered the kick by pushing her hands, and subsequently, his foot away. Sirius flipped over himself, and his foot slammed into that igloo, shattering and melting it to pieces.

A hailstone smashed into Sirius's back, giving him something to curse about.

The name of the game is Deception, and Smoochum thinks she has Sirius game down. He was busy slowly whistling and trying to look innocent , while walking toward the edge of the boat. She plodded after, Flashing him when he turned around to see how close she was. Blinded again by the small brat, Sirius fell backwards onto his back, and rolled around.

Smoochum watched in anger as she saw three of them now appear when there was just one. Damn him!!!

Finding that the blinded Riolu clan may be incapacitated for now, she sat down atop a small star, and relaxed, watching as Sirius jumped up. He dashed left, and then right, using his auratic sight to sense the water-an ever expanse of black to his senses-teeming with auras abound. With a surprising Agility, he ...walked the plank! Smoochum stared in disbelief!

As the Hail plinked on the ship deck for the last time, Smoochum seemed at a loss at what to do. Walking and climbing up to the rail, Smoochum precariously peered over, to see Sirius barely swimming for his life. The fool forgot he was blinded, and so he totally MISSED the porthole!

This worked in her favor, as she used that Psychic energy to force Sirius under the water by constricting his sides. Sirius dipped under the waves, a blue paw barely visible. Oooh that little thing was going too far.

A hailstone smashed into Sirius's head, almost knocking him as the hailstorm ended.

Relax once more, then when he lands back on the ship, squeeze him twice with Psychic, hard. We should try and make sure he falls this round.

Sure Sirius may go down but that little Ice Demon well get a real shellacking out of my next choice.

"Oy Sloppy Joe bring the cannon loaded with the 26th cannonball up to the deck I think I see Jeff's battle ship!" leeks suddenly yelled from the crows nest.

My large shiny Snorlax dressed in a swabby walked up from the lower deck he as carrying a a large cannon and a blue and white ball, he then set up the cannon and loaded it.

"Oh my Mistake it was just a couple dozen sea serpents matting." Leeks said putting down the brass telescope.

As Sirius seemed uneasy still with the power of the ocean ramming him back and forth, Smoochum sat down on the floor and relaxed. He wouldn't be back anytime soon. A gust of wind blew by her kinda hard, and she opened her eyes, to see a soggy Sirius standing on deck! What what!

Regaining her bearings a bit too slow, the world would undergo vertigo for Smoochum as she was hammered again in the gut by Sirius, and his damn mystical wave of power!! She cried out and used her Psychic Ability to put a stop to Sirius, acting like she was strangling him.

Uncool! He reached out for air, and Smoochum went to Psychically stop his hand, but guess what! VERTIGO! A defining smash crashed her upside her head and she bounced back. Rolling to a stop, one hand stretched out, and Sirius fell to his knees, unable to compete with the ethereal forces combating him.

The blue fighter was carried away, and replaced with a leviathan of the sea. A hefty choice but this ship seemed to deal quite well to the weight of the Lapras. Smoochum, undaunted by the size difference, fired off a mental series of constricting pressures that twisted Nessie's back, causing her some pain.

Lapras however after a moment doused the little icegirl with a nasty swath of Briny water. Smoochum looked up at her in disgust. Where did that "water" come from?!?!

A second Psychic ravaged Nessie, but she didn't mind the pain all that much. That was due to a second squirt of water came up and smashed into Smoochum, sending her flying directly into Nessie. The small fighter took a moment to dig herself out of Nessie bountiful bellyfat, hating the smell of Brine.

This time, Smoochum really put the vice-like Psychic pressure on, because Nessie cried out-a melodic cry that also ushered in a final Brine. It hit Smoochum directly in the head, and dazed her compeltely. Stumbling backwards, she tripped on the floor of the ship and fell on her back.

Being diminuitive, Smoochum didn't seem to fall over from the exhaustion of trying to release another Psychic upon the Lapras's body. But as the pressure was significantly weaker than what she was expecting, Nessie took the advantageous moment to pull herself ove to Smoochum. Flippers went out and began to tickle the Ice Type until she tears with laughter.

Still recovering from the "attack", Smoochum didn't even care that Lapras spat another Briny assault all over her form.

She began to get up, still laughing over how ridiculously funny that was, but found herself against a wall, Briny water ll over again.

...I decided to not stand next to Nessie, as he throat and face began to glow with a powerful energy. God I hate this attack.

:campers up to crow's nest, in time to watch as Nessie's Flippers began to bend unnaturally backwards. Nessie, hurt from the straining Psychic forces on her body-released a point blank Hyper Beam that somehow curved to avoid hitting the ship, but blasted Smoochum clear off the boat to parts unknown.
