Yep, Dark always had a weakness to Bug.
The thing is, back in the GSC generation, there were very few bug moves, and none of them particularly good (except MAYBE Fury Cutter), aside from Mega Horn. Now the Bug type also has Signal Beam and Silver Wind, so its actually a legitimate weakness.

I think we can discount Signal Beam from that list as only Volbeat and Dewgong can learn it, so it's not too common.Originally Posted by Elec Man EXE

Venomoth, Yanma, and Ariados can learn it through breeding, though.

[color=magenta]Not to mention a few more Pokémon can learn Megahorn, like Rhydon, Nidoking, etc... so that makes the Dark type a little more vulnerable too. Back in G/S/C, Megahorn was a Heracross-exlusive move.

I think Pinsir should be able to use Megahorn as well, those pincirs on it's head can do just as well as Heracrosses horn, or a rhydon/nidoking horn, IMHO...and even goldeen can learn it...

Psychic types are weak to bug attacks too.
Unfortunately there are too few bug attacks and there are hardly any bug pokemon anyone would seriously run in competitive play, plus most bug pokemon are also poisonous, meaning weakness to Psychic there.

Yeahm, Oddish is dual-type Grass/Poison. Its Poison qualities make it weak against Psychic attacks like Psybeam.Originally Posted by need2knowonething
