I just finished most of my postgame stuff and will be carrying around both my original Nebby-Lunala but also a Solgaleo, because Game Freak's dumb mechanics apparently you can only use the time portal at night with Lunala in your party and at day with Solgaleo in your party. So I had to wait four hours to collect my daytime Zygarde cells (playing Moon) because I couldn't use the portal to go to daytime world without a Solgaleo.

Not that I really planned to complete my Dex for the Shiny Charm anyway, which is the only other thing I would still need to timejump for now that I've already completed my Zygarde...

Okay! I remember that when I would play, the time was changing around when I got home from work, so I could only play in one mode. Now it seems to change around 10:30 pm local time, so if I stay up a bit late, I can play in both day and night.

Yeah, that's how it works. The games are 12 hours apart between day and night in the game and in real life.
