Default Tales of the abyss 3DS

I just got this within the last couple of days, and I would like to tell you guys that the game lives up to the hype. The story is engrossing, the characters have striking personalities, also, the battles are some of the best in any RPG to date.

I'm jelly of all you 3DS owners. By the time I own the console, Abyss will probably be really expensive :/

I mean, I've only just got Vesperia, and that's only cheap because I got it from my friend who works at Gamestation <3

Expensive? Pretty sure it usually goes the other way with used games provided something else isn't driving the price up (high demand, rare, limited numbers made, ect)

I'd like to look into it at some point but there still isn't enough IMO on the 3DS to warrent buying the system. Don't know if it's the fact that the better games on the system are rehashes/ports or if it's just my general disapointment with Nintendo as of late. Oh well.....I'm enjoying Vesperia ATM so one thing at a time.

... I have been trying to find a copy of Vesperia in the shops since I got my Xbox (Oct 2010), and have been unsuccessful. Here it is on Amazon for more than it cost on release. It's going for £35+ on EBay. I got it for £18 because it just so happened to arrive in my friend's shop and he got me his staff discount.

Symphonia is going for £53, and it's sequel £34. I got Symphonia years ago preowned a couple of months after release for £20. My friend bought it a couple of weeks before for £35 >>

The Tales games are rare in the UK. I haven't seen Symphonia 2 on the shelves since release, kinda wish I'd bought it now.

I've got Tales of Phantasia (no US release, I don't think) on GBA. Bought at the time for £20, is now £45 on Amazon. I think I've proved my point.

Master Rudy, some of the best 3ds games aren't rehashes/ports. Mario kart 7, Doctor Lautrec, even Super Mario 3d land are some of the best the system has to offer. Though, you'll probably want to wait for a more complete library of games before you buy it.

Heracross, you have excellent taste in games! I have Tales of the Abyss for PS2. It is one of my favorite games. I didn't do any post-game content, but there is a lot to do. Anise and Jade are my favorite characters.

Incidentally, Brian has a 3DS and hasn't played it...maybe if I get it for him, he'll play! Supporting Tales games is always a good idea, too. ^_^

Tales of the Abyss 3ds is a charming game, though it's original and I love the way the game unfolds. Though I didn't play the original, so this is a good time to start.
