First its Perish song and Destiny bond, and I never tried it mainly because I usually switch out.
Could you first use Perish song and then use Destiny Bond to take opponents out if they switch after the Perish Song? That would be a nice surprise if it worked...

If something is wrong, please say so.
wobbusong works better.
batonpass/switch in the ol' punching bag after perishsonging.
then just wait until the last moment, then switch back out.
sets for that look like this:
absol@leftovers
subsitute/swordsdance
batonpass
doubleedge
perishsong
(jolly-pressure)
batonpasses/switch to:
wobbuffet@leftovers
conter
mirrorcoat
safeguard
encore
(impish/bold/calm/careful-shadowtag)
that reminds me...if perish song will kill the sub or the person, if the sub is set up BEFORE the song...

Of course I know it's Perish song and Destiny Bond, I'm not stupid... Or well, I am, but not THAT stupid.
Switching to Wobby is better than Baton Passing to him if you look at it more carefully. Remember if you use Baton Pass after Perish Song your Pokemon will Baton Pass the Perish Song countdown on too. This is bad because you'll have to switch out again when the Perish Song countdown reaches 1 or face a OHKO on your own Pokemon too.Originally Posted by strat
Nope, the trick won't work. Destiny Bond only works if you are fainted by a direct attack from the opponent. It doesn't work if you are fainted by something like poison, Leech Seed, Curse, or Perish Song.
well, if you try subbing before perishsonging, it might work.Originally Posted by andyizcool

The only move that damages you if you switch that I can recall is Pursuit. Perish Song/Pursuit might be a trick worth considering, though the actual damage from it isn't spectacular and I'm not sure if any pokémon learns
the combo apart from Smeargle.
Switching while under Destiny Bond has no effect.

Of course, any pseudohazing move of the "make them want to switch" style can work like that. Toxic + Pursuit, etc...Originally Posted by rinku
on the enemy pokémon, you mean, yes? Switching removes the perish count on your own pokémon.Switching while under Destiny Bond has no effect.
