Good day, ladies and gents, and welcome to, er, this lovely place. We find ourselves perched on a platform in the middle of smoke kind of smoking hell chamber as Gym Leader Mew Master prepares for a rough-and-tumble match against challenger Cynder. As we fight heat stroke from our volcanic surroundings, the two trainers release: Mew calls upon the help of a spiked jackal while Cynder, on the other hand, summons a plant-winged dinosaur. (And here I thought Mew was going to fall back on his Spiritomb's trusty Curse + Pain Split strategy...)
Well, that's enough blathering. Let the battle begin!
Susanoo begins by upping his evasive capabilities. He snaps his fingers and begins to hum with a mysterious electromagnetic charge. He then rises a few inches off the battlefield, protecting her from Ground-based moves. Oashi, however, is too busy to notice on account of how she's busy boogeying like it's her job. Looks like we have a Dancing Queen on our hands.

Still hovering, Susanoo leans forward and begins gliding over to Oashi. His fist bristles with an icy glow as he clobbers the Grassasaurus with a mighty Ice Punch. Kapow! Super-duper effective! Oashi bellows in rage and dive-tackles the ground, causing everything to quake about... everything but, y'know, Susanoo. He folds his arms and smirks.

The round comes to an end as Oashi spits out a tiny seed that whistles through the air toward Susanoo. The Lucario's foot crackles with red-gold flames as he takes a swipe at the Leech Seed. It's burnt to a crisp.
