Rawk bounds to a place with safe footing as Hydro dances after him. To ensure no shenanigans are accomplished, Rawk fires a set of Swift Stars to trip up the watery beast. They hit, but naa, he keeps jammin.

Now pretty damn quick, Hydro zips in and backflip smacks Rawk with its watery tail. Rawk stumbles..the hell that kinda hit came from! Another set of stars flew and Hydro tried to evade, but its hard to evade homing stars from 5 directions.

Rawk goes for star set number three! They hit, but Hydro-to his best effort, did to a good job trying to evade them But that was only because he knocked Rawk flat on his chest with that Aqua Jet. Hydro is damned fast now.

Rawk, tired of all this water shenanigans, goes for another Sunny Day. But noooo! As soon as he finishes that Sun dance, Hydro gets right back on it with a Rain Dance. More water floods in again, and Rawk is beyond irritated.

Rawk rushes Hydro, and gets ready to shoryuuken him to that hole in the roof. Rawk plants himself and scoops, but notes Hydro 's quick feet push him backwards to evade the swing, and then kicks him forward, all while Rawk's going up! Rawk's slammed to the ground by Hydro, who smiles evilly.

Rawk rolls backwards and fires up a Focus Blast as Hydro watches with baited breath. Rawk lets it fly, but Hydro starts in early. Hydro sidesteps the blast...partially-as Rawk's own aim was off a bit. Due to that Hydro goes flying left from the grazed blast, and in unable to fully strike Rawk down. Rawk stands, glad to have survived that play.

Ok. Rawk dashes forth and slides so low it looks like he's speed crawling. But he's actually gliding toward and..Ow. He uppercuts Hydro as it sleeps, and in that fist is all he can muster for a Kamehameha! Letting it loose in full extension, Rawk roars and Hydro goes flying out the Glitz Pit.

Rawk lands, fist still extended in the air, and Hydro keeps soaring. But Hydro lands somewhere in Indiana....still asleep (how?!?!)

Rawk Hawk once more pulls himself back together after Blade revives him with a seemingly unlimited supply of Full Restores. As the flaming chicken flares up his gauntlets for the eighteenth time in this everlasting gobstopper of a battle, a rather large poke ball is released from an even tinier poke ball... because that's how physics works.

Sir Ohm enters the fray just rolling around like he owns the place, and Hawk is none-to-happy about that. The large sphere of a monster charges up for his premier attack, sending a shockwave of electricity Rawk Hawk's way. In a matter of shocking (PUN!) intimidation, the firebird just takes it in stride [ -5HP Rawk Hawk / -3PP Sir Ohm ]. With a wild smirk across his features, Rawk decides to show this new guy what's what, by promptly stamping his foot on the ground below, rupturing the very fabric of the earth [ -15HP Sir Ohm / -8PP Rawk Hawk ].

Heavily shaken up from Rawk's first stunt, Ohm decides not to take this foe so lightly anymore, and fires off a deadly bolt of electricity that hits the blaziken easily [ -9HP Rawk Hawk / -5PP Sir Ohm ], but Rawk's too busy staring at the sky, summoning the sun's rays to shine down upon the arena [ -5PP Rawk Hawk / Sunny Day active ].

Ohm decides to end his first round with a bang, but the sunlight is hindering his eyesight just a bit. While he patiently takes aim, Rawk Hawk waits as well, having a sinister plot of his own. Ohm fires off a massive storm of thunderous electricity that clashes with Rawk [ -12HP Rawk Hawk / -9PP Sir Ohm ]. A lucky hit! The blaziken kneels down for a moment before striking the orb pokemon with his venomous talons, poisoning it [ -5PP Rawk Hawk / -1 HP Sir Ohm, Tox ].

Rawk shrugs his shoulders and just lunges at the electric orb and slams into it with his right hook [ -7HP Sir Ohm / -4PP Rawk Hawk ], sending the unrestricted ball flying into a wall [ -2HP Sir Ohm ]. Ohm hits the ground with a thud.

Ohm rolls back onto the battlefield and starts swirling around -- in a hot second, the sunshine and clear skies is replaced with a gray stormcloud -- rain immediately falls from the air into the pit [ -7PP, -1HP Sir Ohm / Rain Dance active ]. Rawk Hawk looks none-too-pleased, but as Ohm taunts him in the rain, the Hawk stamps his foot down, summoning another earthquake that completely misses the now levitating electrode [ -8PP Rawk Hawk ].

Very annoyed with his opponent, Ohm rolls up to him and unleashes a devastating electric attack -- one of the strongest in its arsenal. The zap-cannon fires at a near point-blank range, crippling Rawk Hawk [ -12HP, +25% Par Rawk Hawk / -7PP, -1HP Sir Ohm ]. The Hawk slowly pulls himself back together long enough to counterattack -- his fist, now covered in stones, smashes into Ohm with collosal strength [ -10HP Sir Ohm / -9PP Rawk Hawk ], sending Ohm rolling backwards uncontrollably.

The abilities are turned off for the Glitz Pit challenge, so it means that, to me, Magnet Rise only lasts the action it was used.

I didn't realize that Zap Cannon's BP was 120, so I adjusted that.

I ref STAB a bit differently than everyone else, wherein attacks used by the same type as their pokemon are much less strenuous, causing less energy to be expelled as a result.

I don't understand what Magnet Rise has to do with abilities. Magnet Rise doesn't change the user's ability to Levitate; it causes the user to hover for five actions. Can someone confirm this?

Anyway, Sir Ohm, the Movelist says rain makes electrical attacks almost surefire hits. Three Zap Cannons. If you sense an impending Earthquake, Magnet Rise, I guess. Shock Wave clones and Magic Coat statuses. If he changes the weather, Thunderbolt.

I hate being me... Yes, according to both Bulbapedia and the ASB Move List, Magnet Rise lasts for 5 rounds. I'll let Grey ref how he chooses, but Oslo is correct.

Now that being nice is out of the way, use Mirror Move to fire a Zap Cannon back at that bomb ball. IT can be Paralyzed, too. Then, use Sunny Day. Finally, scorch it with a Flamethrower.

With the attack now in his grasp, Rawk throws it back at Ohm, dealing less damage [ -9HP, +25% Par Sir Ohm / -11PP Rawk Hawk ].

Ohm desperately attempts to fire another one at the bird, but its body can't move whatsoever [ -2HP Sir Ohm ]. The Hawk chuckles as the skies suddenly clear up and the rain stops [ -5PP Rawk Hawk / Sunny Day active ].

With the skies cleared up, Ohm has to change his own tactics, and fires off a weaker bolt of electricity that still manages to fry the firebird [ -9HP Rawk Hawk / -5PP, -2HP Sir Ohm ]. Rawk retalliates with a chain of flames, heated up moreso by the sun in the sky [ -12HP Sir Ohm / -5PP Rawk Hawk ]. The end of the round is realized as soon as Ohm's levitation wears off and he plops down on the ground.

Ohm smirks as his body absorbs the fire energy and turns it into psychic energy -- launching it right back at Rawk for heavier damage [ -18HP Rawk Hawk / -10PP, -3HP Sir Ohm ].

Rawk decides to end it with this blow, slamming down his palms to create an earth-shattering quake, but before the trembling can even start, Ohm vanishes into nothingness before reappearing in the bleachers [ -7PP Rawk Hawk / -10PP, -3HP Sir Ohm ].

Rawk aims upwards, desperate to bring down this electric pokemon. He fires off another flamethrower that wraps around the electric type; Ohm, however, knows how to handle this situation and immediately casts its reflective spell. The flamethrower hits [ -12HP Sir Ohm / -5PP Rawk Hawk ], before being converted and shot right back at the Hawk [ -18HP Rawk Hawk / -10PP, -3HP Sir Ohm ].

As Rawk heads over to his corner and heals, he takes a longing look at the sky. Something seems off to the avian even as Snappy enters the fray. Charles laughs from the sidelines as the water type walks over and around the cheering crowd, covering his body in silt and mud and whatever else it can. Rawk sighs, seeing this to be an easy fight. Sun's back.

Snap raises his arms, and raises a bunch of the crowd thrown items and broken ring materials to rise up and be flung. Rawk spies the incoming and crouches, one hand raised. As he's encumbered by the tonnage of refuse, His hands falls, causing a SolarBeam to cycle in from the gap in the roof and slam Snappy. Yipe.

Snap: -8E/-20H===//=== RH: -10E/-10H

Rawk snickers as Snappy looks dazed. A more focused Solarbeam comes from Rawk's hands this time, blasting Snappy to the ground. The crowd cheers, and Snappy retaliates with a Water Pulse to shake Rawk up. But the Sunbeam weakens that Pulse, so Rawk wipes off his chjst, and flares up his wrists.
