You find a good, old fashioned lever against the wall. You give it a yank, and it moves. You hear the water move, and can feel the water being drawn down a sink hole.

Mission accomplished. Except as soon as you take your hands off the lever, it returns to its original setting. Dead mans switch. The water begins to flow back the way it came, refilling the pool.

You 'drink' another unit of air, and realize that you wont have enough air to hold that lever in place while the whole pool drains.

You swim back, and 'drink' your last unit about half way up the stairs. Your head breaks the surface.

Ziz makes a sub of himself. Its small, and heavy. Tsuki offers you the rope you found in the old hut. Perhaps you can tie it off?

You manage to make it down to the bottom of the stairs and over to the lever, positioning Ziz's sub in place. It wont hold the lever down as it, and tying it down only results in the lever holding Ziz's sub, not the other way around.

Battle on!

The statue is awake, and the environment changes. There is a storm of sand that wiped up from nowhere. Shouldn't that be the sun, you think to yourself?.

But things are not going the way you planned.

Ziz swoops in for an Ice fang, but instead meets a section of the shed skin. Tsuki's attempt at teleporting fails completely, and Blade cant seem to find the mark either. He also hits a section of the shed skin. Meanwhile, Groudon returns with a Hyperbeam directed at Ziz.

Shinsuke Volcano

This Volcanic Island - previously hidden away can now be seen from the shore. A massive pool of magma lies deep in its center, but one can walk down quite a ways and find a variety of Fire Types enjoying the heated tunnels. Some hardier Flying Pokemon line the edges of the Volcano as well. A tall Pagoda stands on the Island as well, the only man-made structure here.

It's not the real thing, but you know what? We're going to practice on it. Tsuki, use Psychic to open a hole in its defenses, Ziz, you and Blade are going to do a double team Hyper Beam through the spot in its defenses. Afterwards recharge, while Tsuki trips it up with Grass Knot.
