There's a Spinarak that crawls out of sight as you stand in the door. It looks like the room used to be an old sanitation closet. It goes farther back, with spider webs dangling along the walls and dust covering much of the equipment.

You manage to shake the Octillery loose and are starting to get fed up with this waiting around crap. Glancing along the immediate shoreline, you don't see anything like a boat shack, but on the opposite end of the pond looks like an old wooden dock. It'll take you five rounds to reach it.

You debate this plan, as a pair of Bidoof surface holding water-logged branches and moving towards a dam.

You take the ID, it's a photo identification card with a magnetic strip on the back. Which is odd because you haven't seen any electronic locks or security measures since entering the archives. In fact, you've been surprised that the archives just seems like an extensively large library with very little technology. You remember some warning signs for electrical power, but the lights have been off and you've seen a lot of Magnemite.

Pondering these questions you, Leviathan, and Pyll check out the right door this time. Walking down the corridor, you spot a Misdreavus. This one's smiling at you with mischeif in its eyes. You hear it's ghostly laugh, like a disembodied child's laughter before it floats backwards through the floor and disappears. Maybe it knows something?

You head back down to the library, sneaking past the floating and sleeping Magnemite. Brigadier is floating, sifting through books and holding three pages in one of its hands. He hands them to you, letting you read over them. Much of the pages are smudged and only some of the passages are legible.

The group moves back to trying to find that ghost. Brigadier extends his mental awareness to try and find that spectre, but is having a hard time. The signal seems to be slipping in and out, moving father down the hallway, into a darker part of the building. Through a set of double doors, you see three more rooms and another set of doors. Two of the rooms still have their doors closed, another is missing its and the double doors continue to an extending hallway.

Pyll looks out of it, and Leviathan's so confused he can't get up. Brigadier floats silently for a second, before his eyes open with a bright energy. Behind you, by the double doors, you hear something slam into a wall, and a little yell of surprise.

Back there is the Misdreavus, lacking that whimsical smile. Well for a second anyway, then it starts to circle around you, phasing in and out again, giggling. You know it can't escape, but it seems to know something.

There is no shrine, just a nest that one Farfetch'd is now fighting you over so you don't get too close. Steak, on the otherhand, starts launching rocks at the Yanma (-8 E@ Steak/-18 H @ Yanma). The hit's enough to scare the bug off, flying away from the nest, which now the parents focus their attention on you. Flapping and swinging their leeks.

Your Magmortor tries to pull himself together to go after the Ghost, but can't find himself able to, it's like he's fighting his own nightmares. The Ghost floats in and out, laughing to it's heart's content.

Pyll lashes out, trying to retaliate against the ghost, but his flailing misses. He does this again, confused, scared, and so shaken.

The Misdrveus laughs good and long at Pyll before floating on top of your head, smiling. Brigadier informs you that she's willing to coperate, since she got such a good laugh.

She cackles, a bit madly, with a hint of chilidsh amusement. The room seemed to fade away into darkness, as a crude representation of what the Misdreavus was talking about.
