    ROUND FIVE

Following Duskull's fainting at the end of the last round, a fresh faced Aron named Juggernaut takes his place. The tiny steel armour pokemon sniffs around to get a feel for the environment then faces his opponent. Bongo is slow to start anyway, and slower still due to his lack of energy. He stands up and waddles across to Aron, but the rock type is way ahead, already digging down into the soft, wet earth and away from any danger. Bongo looks around confused, whilst Juggernaut rests easy beneath his feet, sensing exactly where the pokemon is so he can locate exactly where to pop out.

    Bongo HP(-0) PP(-4)
    Juggernaut HP(-0) PP(-2) ~ Underground

Bongo puts a foot backwards, which sends a vibration through the ground. Despite it's dense and wet state, a little mud falls into Juggernaut's tunnel and the pokemon bursts out of the ground behind Bongo. The sloth turns too slowly to counter the attack, and Juggernaut plows into him, knocking the pokemon and sending him rolling. Bongo manages to get up and lets loose a jet of water, but it glides over Juggernaut, without so much as hinting that it did any damage, leaving his metal coat glistening and clean of the mud that covered it only seconds before. This is one tough little guy.

    Bongo HP(-8) PP(-2)
    Juggernaut HP(-5) PP(-2)

Juggernaut focuses for his next attack, but Bongo manages to find the strength within to bring the edge of his paw down on the Aron's head firmly, as if he were trying to chop a stack of bricks in half. This is no brick though, and despite it hurting, the fresh faced pokemon shakes it and springs forward. An energy surrounds him and as he collides head first with Bongo's stomach, the energy follows, pushing the Slakoth into the air, and far backwards, until a tree breaks his flight path. The force of the impact snaps the tree and it collapses backwards much to the shock of the ranger nearby. Juggernaut steps back to admire the damage, letting his body get back to normal as he shakes off a little wooziness. Bongo slurs and dribbles a bit from the shock before flopping forward onto his belly and sending mud splashing everywhere. Before he can rest the burn he'd almost forgotten about stings him a little, and the curse he thought went away sends pain through his entire body, leaving the pokemon utterly exhausted.

    Bongo HP(-13) PP(-4) ~ (HP-5) PP(-5) Suffering from Curse ~ (HP-2) Hurt by Burn
    Juggernaut HP(-9) PP(-7) ~ Atk(-1) Dfc(-1)

OK it's been 5 days, and Spade originally set a 3 day DQ time, but I'll let it stretch out to a week before actually ending the battle, because it doesn't look like Spade has even been online since the 17th, though there's no Absence Tower post from him.

OK Spade, I'm afraid you have been DQ'd from this battle, since you have not posted in the absence tower, or made either myself or DCM aware of any absences.

Myself and DCM get 2 points
    Spade gets 1

    Also triple post, tres apologies.
