Yeah, that's where things get slippery. As I interpret it, unless a Flying-type specifically has lost its Ground-type immunity because of Gravity/Smack Down/Roost/etc., it's going to be invulnerable to Ground-type damage no matter what. It might seem counter-intuitive, but there are a hundred and one other scenarios where immunities don't make sense yet we (or at least I) go with them anyway. (Tri-Attack against a Gengar, anyone? Bone Club against a Gyarados?) Thus, even though logic dictates that a Digging Charizard should take damage from Earthquake, I feel like the fairest thing is to ref with the immunity taken into account. So. Yeah.

TEAM CYNDER
Location: The Dragon Roost
Rules: See Gym rules
Abilities: Active
DQ Time: One week
‡ Pre-Round ‡
‡ Round 14 ‡
Frightened as hell by his opponent, Godzilla begins Digging like mad to get away. Typhoon watches leisurely as the Charizard vanishes beneath the ground, but he doesn't seem too pressed to go after him. Instead, he takes a break.
Godzilla: <-3 EP>
Typhoon: <+6 EP>
Okay, break time over. Seeing that Godzilla's burrow hole has been sealed shut with earth, Typhoon begins thumping his tail against the earth like an overgrown (and horrendously ugly) child throwing a temper tantrum, which causes shock waves to diffuse outward in all directions. Meanwhile, tucked away in his subterranean nook, Godzilla attempts to assume a defensive position but Paralysis prevents him from doing anything at all.
Godzilla: <Can't move!>
Typhoon: <-8 EP>
The round ends with a bit of R&R for all parties involved. It is a Sunday, after all.
Godzilla: <+6 EP; Roared no more>
Typhoon: <+6 EP>
No R&R for the Yamata, though! Suddenly, the mighty dragon comes to life. It uproots a tree and throws it at Typhoon <-15 HP>, who takes significant damage. The dragon looks around for Godzilla, but can't seem to figure out where he went. Typhoon fumes. (Hey, it could have been worse, bud. You could have been Toxic'd as well.)

Notes:
> Godzilla can spend one more action underground before he'll start taking suffocation damage, which will increase in severity (-5 HP, -10 HP, -15 HP, etc.) every action
